GOD’S PURPOSE PUSHER
DALLAS — Letitia Scott Jackson wasted little time hastening to social media just after midday back on January 30.
Before her nearly 5,000 followers via Facebook, Scott Jackson felt greatly inspired to enlighten the masses of what undoubtedly has emerged as her life-altering testimony.
“Listen…my Monday’s testimony,” Scott Jackson said hours after she had finished her first Bible and Life Principles session at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center in Downtown Dallas. “You see, I was considered to be a convicted felon once upon a time. Some people even said and thought that I would never amount to anything. Some people said a lot of stuff, yet the God (I serve) — my Daddy Jehovah — said, ‘I will open doors no man can shut, and I will make you great before the people!’”
Indeed, He has on the behalf of Scott Jackson, the well-respected mastermind Keeping Families Connected, her credible Dallas/Fort Worth-area nonprofit organization that is steadily becoming a fixture, most notably throughout the Southwest region of the country.
LEADING THE CHARGE

A rising, faith-based organization Scott Jackson established approximately eight years ago, the strategic mission of Keeping Families Connected (suitably known as KFC) is centered in large part on enriching the lives of young people, most notably through events, as well as by way of providing educational resources, mentoring, and counseling services.
“We believe that family matters most,” said a spokesperson for this thriving, flourishing nonprofit organization in a detailed overview at https://www.keepingfamilyconnected.org/.
A native of Houston who was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Scott Jackson is thoroughly convinced that her organization is steadily becoming a fixture throughout the region but, most importantly, she’s convinced it aligns solely with the purpose for which she was created.
“KFC is most unique because we’re a unique organization doing unique things for God’s unique people,” Scott Jackson said.
Generally, amongst KFC’s notable responsibilities include customarily providing what Scott Jackson describes as “luxury” prison trips, free breakfast and lunch, as well as frequent trips to restaurant of their clients’ choice.
Interestingly enough, Scott Jackson’s organization is especially committed to empowering people from various walks to become better versions of themselves, both naturally and spiritually.
That’s not all.
“We also change people’s lives by making sure they understand life’s principles and how to become self-sustaining, as well as financially stable when in our mentorship program,” Scott Jackson, the author of the Fall 2019-released book, Grace & Favor: From Prison To Paid, explained. “We teach the group to put God first and to focus on purpose to become productive and prosperous.”

In essence, Scott Jackson emphasized, “My mission is for Keeping Families Connected to become a household name worldwide and eventually be able to provide free prison transportation in other states as the need is so great.”
To her credit, she certainly seems on track to ensuring that such a lofty ambition becomes a life-altering reality for generations to come.
“This year is our eight-year anniversary as we bless people all year around monthly,” said Scott Jackson, whose organization in June 2019 launched a Keeping Families Connected mobile app as a way to keep the community updated on the latest developments surrounding her nonprofit. “No government grants…just God’s grace and the few people that support faithfully. We are on a mission to buy a new van so that we can take more people on the trips. We’ve actually helped people that we’ve taken to the prisons get new cars, new homes, etc. That’s what we do.”
As Scott Jackson stressed, there’s still much more work to be done and, with continuous support and valiant contributions from KFC’s faithful supporters, her organizations will steadfastly carry out its Christ-centered mission.
“I just want it to be known that we now do three prison trips per year,” said Scott Jackson, “and we plan to expand to other states. I am now teaching in the jails and prisons. Our mentorship is monthly and in full effect. This season, Keeping Families Connected plans on becoming a household name.”
Given the immeasurable strides this organization has made since its ceremonious inception, it’s safe to assume that such a monumental mission has already come to fruition.
With so many milestones to go.
