Resourceful entrepreneurs in their own right, Pastor and Elect Lady Jones are the beloved founders of Manna Ministries Inc. Church, a rising faith-based institution that was established in the comfortable confines of their home.
A church that officially went into operations November 5, 2005, Manna Ministries will commemorate its 18th year of existence later this year and has become a fixture in the Prichard, Alabama community, a Mobile County, establishment that rest in the outskirts of Mobile, a town of roughly 19,322 residents, according the latest U. S. census (down from approximately 22,659 residents as of 2010).
“(Eighteen years) ago, souls came to our living room for praise, prayer, and the preached word of God,” Pastor Jones told MHN. “Many repented of their sins, were baptized in Jesus Name, and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.”
A ministry that was birthed amid humble beginnings, Manna Ministries has enjoyed a considerable amount of growth in recent years, in large part because the church has emerged a spiritual safe haven to residents of Prichard and the surrounding areas.
Currently, Manna Ministries’ services take place at 1222 Neely Avenue in Prichard Sunday at 11 a.m. CDT. Midweek service is every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
A native of Picayune, Mississippi and a Picayune High School graduate, Pastor Jones isn’t just a progressive spokesperson for Christ, although soul-winning undoubtedly is his primary profession.

A former U. S. Navy sailor, Pastor Jones is an accomplished medical professional who has served as a Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN).
Today, he assumes the role as a Registered Nurse, a stint he’s held for the past 22 years. Pastor Jones’ tenure in the medical field spans some 30 years.
In addition, he is a longtime life insurance agent who has spent the past 12 years as a catalyst for Primerica Life.
A Duluth, Georgia-based insurance and financial services company that uses a hybrid model of direct selling, franchising and distribution, Primerica was comprised of a reported 116,827 independent representatives in 2016 whereby it conducts business primarily in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, according to spokesperson for the company.
Moreover, this globally-acclaimed business is widely known for its commitment to helping families get out of debt, save money, protect their income and work towards being financially independent.
Interestingly enough, Pastor Jones is a published author who is the architect of the book, True Salvation In Jesus Christ. Also, he is an avid songwriter whom, along with his wife, is the mastermind behind two CD’s: It’s Time To Praise The Lord, released in May 2013, and Better For Me, released in December 2019.

“I was posed the question for my high-school year book: ‘What do you want to be, and how many children do you want?’ My response was, ‘I want to be a nurse and I want two children,’” Elect Lady Jones told MHN. “I rejoice in God’s sense of humor. I married a nurse and have 12 children. Our five sons and seven daughters are growing with us in ministry and business.”
Indeed, they are.
Amongst the reasons is that Elect Lady Jones operates in various capacities, most notably as a devoted homemaker, certified doula, as well as a Christian-based childbirth educator.
“(I am a) homeschool teacher to all my children,” Elect Lady Jones said.
Like her husband, Elect Lady Jones has worked as life insurance agent for the past 12 years with Primerica Life, during which her valiant contributions had recently given way to her being promoted to Regional Leader with the company.

An accomplished tax preparer and notary, Elect Lady Jones has authored three books to date: Conception And Childbirth His (Christ) Way, released in 2014; Ye Shall Be As God, which debuted in 2017; Conception And Childbirth, a revised version of her first written work that debuted in 2018.
Currently, she is taking advance online course through Universal Accounting’s credible program.
