GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY RESURFACED

Maria Thorpe unfortunately missed the scheduled deadline.

As it turned out, God had other ideas.

“I reached out to the visionary and she was apologetic saying I missed the deadline,” Thorpe, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the developments surrounding her latest authorship endeavor. “However, a few weeks later, I got a call, and I was surprised it was her, and I was in. I guess God made a way for me to be part of the awesome project.”

“The mass shootings in grocery stores, schools, and inner-city violence are increasing, impacting everyone in the world,” Dr. Moseley told MHN during an August 2022 interview, explaining the purpose for spearheading Passion Purpose Peace: The Pathway Through Trials And Tribulations. “I chose to produce this book to show others that no matter what you are going through in life, the trials and tribulations will lead to lessons learned. You can use those lessons to be a better person, understand your passion, and live in your purpose. You will find success, fulfillment, and inner peace when you live in your purpose. There is no violence. There is serenity. There is no hate. There is love.”

For Thorpe, a Waldorf, Maryland-based author of multiple books, Dr. Moseley’s collaborative book project is one she said, “spoke to me.”

“I remember how challenging it was for me growing up to find a place of peace and quiet,” Thorpe explained. “I had a large family, and it could be challenging at times to find your own space in my home. But once I found the place that spoke to my inner being, this allowed me the peace I was looking for.”

“I was late to the book project as I mentioned,” Thorpe said. “But this project spoke to me, and I knew what I wanted to write about. Once I began to put my thoughts on paper, I wrote this chapter over the weekend. Sometimes, the words are just ready to jump onto the page.”

A longtime federal government worker in engineering who also operates as a real estate agent, business owner, speaker, and mentor, Thorpe made her authorship debut in 2019 with the release of Unleash Your Superpower. The following year, she graced the pages of Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence Volume 3, an international bestseller.
