Approximately one year after making her authorship debut by way of collaborative project, Riley is just days away from witnessing the ceremonious release of her sophomore book adventure come full circle.
A native of Washington, D.C., Riley is one of 48 co-authors who has contributed to a Seeing Myself In HER Story: A Sister Circle Of Stories To Connect, Heal, and Push Us Through anthology that has caused a fervent buzz throughout various message boards and social media platforms in recent months.

“I chose to write my chapter because it’s time,” Riley told MHN. “The world is so broken right now. It seems a great number of people lack hope and direction. I want the world to know that their Creator created them with a purpose. Genesis 1:28 states that we were created to thrive and be leaders with authority to affect change.”

Riley began composing her submission for Seeing Myself In HER Story in March 2023 and needed approximately one month to complete it. Her second authorship comes roughly one year after she joined Choose Purpose Over Fear…Win Every Time.
Referring specifically to Proverbs 13:12 — it reads, Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life — Riley emphasized, among other things, her chapter in her latest book projects is centered in large part on people who are harboring broken dreams.
“The message is simply this: align yourself with your Creator,” Riley says without hesitation. “Think about the dreams your Creator has given you. Turn your negative perspective about your broken dream into a positivity. Get on track to follow and attain those dreams.”

Interestingly enough, amongst the trends Riley deems most intriguing is that Seeing Myself In HER Story has garnered Amazon No. 1 Bestseller status in three notable categories.
For her valiant efforts, she has fielded an array of rave reviews as a result.
“My Creator has released me to speak and write about my journey through various life experiences that are relatable to my diverse audiences,” Riley said. “I am grateful and honored when I have opportunities to share my testimony and give Him glory.”
Now that she’s on the brink of witnessing her sophomore book project come to fruition, Riley said she is currently writing what she describes as “a personal growth book,” a written work that is expected to be released sometime in 2024.
