Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name. Make known among the nations what He has done. (Psalm 105:1/NIV)
PUTTIN’ WORK
As far as her milestone as an author goes, 2024 is shaping up to be quite a resourceful year for Deborah Harris.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Harris, a Chesapeake, Virginia-based writer, announced she will be composing four books this year.
Harris’ latest authorship work is Injustice Volume II: Empowered By Dr. Iris Wright, a highly-anticipated anthology that is currently in the production’s final stages and is scheduled to debut March 8, which is recognized annually as International Women’s Day.
The second edition of Injustice Volume II comes a little less than one year after Dr. Wright’s debut volume of her collaborative book project.

For Harris, her fervent rise to gracing the pages of a seven book — by year’s end — comes amid humble beginnings, something she doesn’t merely take for granted.
“God did not give me the vision to write this story,” Harris said of her latest authorship adventure. “I have simply been a victim of several injustices and I felt compelled to participate.”
The CEO of Your Wellness Inc., a faith-based Portsmouth, Virginia nonprofit organization, Harris acknowledged, among other things, she deemed it essential to join the Injustice II book collaboration, in large because she sensed she needed more exposure surrounding the injustices she has experienced throughout the years.
For what it’s worth, Harris said it took approximately five months to construct her chapter.
“My motivation stems from a strong desire to do my part in helping to enhance the lives of those who are losing hope,” Harris, a native of New Orleans, told MHN. “I have four books coming out this year that are advocacy and inspirational.”
Three years ago, Harris witnessed her author debut come to fruition with the release of Listen, which is suitably known as a “self-help” written work. Consequently, she was named a co-author for Surviving Her: The Art of Forgiveness, an anthology that is spearheaded by Virginia Visionary Author, Cathy Staton.
Surviving Her emerged as an Amazon bestseller in 2022.
IMMESURABLE AUTHORSHIP RESUME
Interestingly enough, Harris’ Your Wellness Inc. is a rising nonprofit organization that has become a fixture for decreasing suicidal ideation in the youths and adults in the community.
Generally, this is done by implementing evidence-based programs and practices within the school districts and faith communities of the Hampton Roads region, according the organization’s vision statement via https://www.yourwellnessinc.org/.
“We address causes that may lead to suicide with a focus on domestic abuse, bullying, mental illness, substance abuse, and trauma or loss,” said a spokesperson for Harris’ Your Wellness Inc. “Through a holistic approach, they will transition from living with suicidal ideation to having peace within themselves. We are confident that Your Wellness Inc., along with our team of expert peers and community partners, will enrich the lives of individuals who have lost hope.”
