Said Dunn, an O’Fallon, Missouri-based author, explaining why he composed his first book:
“If I had to reduce it to one reason — one underlying truth — it would be this: This book was born out of a burden to restore the Church’s ability to hear God again,” Dunn told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Not just listen…but truly hear. For too long, we have gathered, shouted, and responded emotionally, yet walked away without clarity, without direction, and without transformation. We have become accustomed to sound without understanding, movement without alignment, and worship without revelation.
“And something in me reached a point where I could no longer ignore it. Enough is enough. This book was not written because I had something to say. It was written because God is speaking and too many are not recognizing His voice. I began to realize that the issue was not God’s silence.”

A native of Oxford, Mississippi who serves as a devoted minister and teacher who boasts more than 33 years in ministry, Dunn said it was sometime last year that God infused within him the awe-inspiring vision to compose an In The Wind Speaks book that figures to help empower, enrich, and enhancing the kingdom for years to come.
“This book didn’t begin the day I started writing; it began long before that,” Dunn told MHN. “For years, the Holy Spirit had been dealing with me, stirring something deep within my heart. There was a weight I couldn’t ignore, a knowing that something was missing in how we were hearing and responding to God. But I didn’t move on it right away.”
Then one day, Dunn recalls, “It hit me hard.”
And, the rest, as they say, was history.
It was long thereafter that Dunn had begun constructing a book that, much to his delight, is as good as advertised.
“I was sitting, listening, trying to understand, and my heart grew heavy,” said Dunn, explaining the rash developments surrounding the production of his new book. “In that moment, I realized I could no longer delay what God had been speaking to me for so long. I had to respond. I even found myself apologizing to the Holy Spirit for not moving when He first called me.”
All that matters now is that his published gem has come to fruition.
Just as God said.
