I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill, but time and chance happeneth to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11/KJV)
YES, SHE DID!
Karen Nicole Walther has always wanted to write a book.
She can now check such an adventure off her list of things to do.
That’s because Washington, D.C. native has emerged as a first-time published author, given she’s one of 14 co-authors to grace pages of Destiny Exposè: The Leading Ladies Volume 1, Master Destiny Life Coach Dr. Marcea B. Whitaker’s highly-anticipated written work that has created a national buzz across various message boards and social media platforms.
“I always wanted to publish a book, I just did not know when or how,” Walther told Making Headline News this week. “When Dr Marcea approached me, I said ‘Yes.’ However, during the process, I just did not know if I could do it. I struggled to put the pen to paper, wondering where do I begin with my story. So, I just started writing…not worrying about how it sounded but to get it all out on paper.’
And the rest, as they say, was history.

Before Walther knew it, her long-awaited vision of becoming a published author had ultimately become a reality, a milestone that is accompanied by Destiny Exposè: The Leading Ladies Volume 1 assuming the Barnes & Noble Bestseller label.
Generally, Destiny Exposé: The Leading Ladies Volume 1 is widely regarded as more than just a collection of stories, according to a detailed synopsis of this newly-released anthology via Barnes & Noble’s website.

“It’s a bold declaration of purpose, showcasing the strength, resilience, and grace required to become a true leading lady,” said a Barnes & Noble spokesperson for Dr. Whitaker’s latest anthology. “Each chapter illuminates a path for others to follow, empowering readers to walk, learn, and thrive. Your midnight leads to your morning. Your pain leads to your purpose. Your trial leads to your testimony. Let this book be the blueprint for someone else’s journey toward a fulfilled and purposeful life.
“It is an invitation to unmask your purpose, unveil your greatness, and uplift your tribe. Together, let’s turn our stories into a lasting legacy.”
The legwork for Destiny Exposé commenced a little more than a year ago, a process Richmond fully embraced, given the immeasurable leadership of the Visionary.
“(I was destined) to tell my story,” Walther, a military veteran who served in the United States Army, told MHN. “As an introvert, I struggle and suffer silently in the quietness of leadership. When you or we label ourselves, we often place limitations on ourselves. I knew I wanted more for myself because I was labeled as meek and mild. I did not think I could be great in the U.S. military, let alone become a commissioned officer. That is what my chapter is all about, Commissioned To Fight For My future Leading Out Loud.”
As Walther recalls, she began composing her selected chapter in May, thoroughly enjoying the awe-inspiring journey in the process.
“Introverts can lead loudly and proudly,” said Walther, explaining the divine message she’s aiming to send to her reading audience. “Leadership is in all of us. How you nurture and cultivate that leadership is totally up to you.”
AND IT CAME TO PASS
Now that her first published book has come full circle, Walther is already anticipating assembling other written works — much sooner rather than later.
“Yes, I plan to write a book journal to help introverted leaders to lead with grace and authenticity,” said Walther, referencing the familiar Biblical passages: 2 Timothy 1:7 and Joshua 1:9.
As for her one vital suggestion to her fellow introverts, Walther said:
“Do not be afraid to lead.”
