With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day. — Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during his iconic I Have A Dream speech, Lincoln Memorial, August 28, 1963
GOD-ORDERED STEPS

This three-day event, which begins October 4 and runs through October 6, is designed in large part to acknowledge and award those tried leaders, thus place accountability on them as a strategic way to build what event officials describe as a stronger society on a solid stone foundation.
In essence, the Prestigious Annual Stone Awards has been suitably dubbed a Memphis City Resolution endorsed.
For Hunt, her latest honor is her eighth notable accolade dating back to 2018.
“This year is the year of Queens to acknowledge and honor women leaders working to build and nurture the nation from eight states, doing the groundwork to serving the underserved individuals, Hunt, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining the significance of one of Memphis’ tradition-rich events while referencing Isaiah 28.
“The stone represents the Tried Stone (Eben) of building a solid foundation in your own community stone by stone.
VICTORY FORMATION
Accompanied by the featured theme, Standing Test of Time, the 29th Annual Prestigious Stone Awards’ Formal Gala Ceremony figures to attract an array of community advocates, leaders, trailblazers, and pioneers from various states throughout the region.
As Hunt recalls, she initially learned she had been named a nominee for the Mtenzi Artistry Award for Best Motivational Speaker and Community Advocate in April.
An official announcement of her having been named this year’s recipient was made in June.
“When you’re called to serve, you don’t look for an award or recognition,” said Hunt, when asked what her immediate reaction of her latest honor was. “So, I was extremely surprised and honored to receive such a recognition alongside many other great women leaders across the nation.”
Interestingly enough, Hunt’s You First Community Foundation has become a fixture for customarily empowering women and female juvenile offenders by providing information, education, and access to resources.
