Just recently, Jay Vinson was asked how he would begin to sum up 2024, which would ultimately culminate with the Lithia Springs, Georgia-based empowerment extraordinaire being dubbed Making Headline News Man of The Year for an unprecedented third consecutive year.
“Unforgettable,” Vinson said without hesitation.
To grasp a thorough understanding of why Vinson’s year was reduced to just a single word by his standards, look no further than the immeasurable strides he made during that memorable stretch.
For starters, Vinson managed to “start out the year of 2024 on a high note” by establishing what is suitably known as the Stepping Into Greatness podcast, his newly-erected platform that streams via Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, or where podcasts are aired.

Vinson co-hosted the podcast The Potter’s House Associate Pastor, Venshard Dobbins.
Vinson’s podcast customarily focuses on his two books: Stepping Into Greatness and Moving Past Your Pain.
Also, this past year, Vinson, an accomplished faith leader, was invited to appear on Preach The Word Network during which he was highlighted during the segment, Books of the Month.
“I was invited to talk more about my book, which gained a lot of attention,” Vinson told MHN. “After appearing on that show, I was approached about turning my book into a documentary. So, I ended up producing my first documentary (Bouncing Back From Adversity) that features me and three other cast members who talked about their real-life stories.”
Interestingly enough, Vinson learned he had been named a recipient of the 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his notable outreach and philanthropist work to the community. In addition, Vinson, in 2024, was honored during the Distinguished Authors Guild Awards 5th Annual Literary Award Show and VIP Gala in Chicago.

An assembly that took place November 5 at Theatre 47 in nearby Park Forest, Illinois, the Distinguished Authors Guild’s Annual Literary Awards Show is designed to celebrate the best in literature, thus honor the notable achievements of outstanding authors.
During that event, Vinson was honored for his valiant contributions to the authorship industry since making his professional writing debut in March 2020, most notably because of the fervent buzz surrounding his book, Moving Past Your Pain: Making The Journey Towards Your Destiny — a 100-page book that was endorsed by the renowned Bishop Dale C. Bronner, the internationally-acclaimed Senior Pastor of Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, Georgia.
For Vinson, 2025 figures to be just as memorable for the Auburn University alum.
“I aspire to release my Moving Past Your Pain workbook,” Vinson told MHN. “As a certified mental wellness life coach, I plan on launching my Moving Past Your Pain seminar for student and student-athletes.”
That’s not all.
“I also aspire to reach a larger audience with the documentary, Bouncing Back From Adversity, through different movie platforms like Tubi and more,” Vinson said. “I also plan to become a sports agent advisor with Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW). As a former athlete and athletic coach, I aspire to co-represent athletes by collaborating with certified agents to represent athletes affiliated with SMWW and recruit talent.”
When asked to whom he credits for his array of accomplishments in 2024, Vinson said:
“I would say my parents, brother, close family, and friends for always encouraging me, and keeping me grounded. All the things I accomplished this year were things that I had planned to accomplish throughout my time of being a business owner, not knowing that it would happen this (past) year. But after experiencing this year, it will definitely go down as a year that will be unforgettable for a lifetime.”
Indeed, it has.
Talk about a well-deserved three-peat.
