Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14/NKJV)
SEASON OF NEW BEGINNINGS, MANE

DALLAS — Esteemed Pastor, Apostle Ricky D. Floyd of Memphis’ Pursuit of God Church, died tragically on March 12.
Tina Bailey, his longtime member, took the time this week to pay homage to her fallen spiritual leader.
As Bailey vividly recalls, it was Floyd who suggested she diligently make good on her lofty aspirations of becoming a first-time published author.
Mission accomplished for Bailey, who is the mastermind behind ENDing Us: A Transformation Journey Through Divorce, Disease and Death, her highly-anticipated written work she managed to compete following her mother’s death in 2023.

As part of Making Headline News’ advance national coverage ahead of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Third Annual Woman Evolve Conference July 31 through August 2 from Atlanta, Georgia, Bailey recalled how God had strategically used Apostle Floyd to “plant the seed” that would ultimately fuel her drive to compose her first book.
“Apostle Floyd called me one evening back in 2020 and asked what I was doing, and I told him that I was writing in my journal,” Bailey told MHN. “Of course, he wanted to know what I was writing about. Without being too specific, I informed him that I journaled to keep myself sane and to stop myself from acting on or reacting to emotions that I was not familiar with and that were too intense for me to articulate to anyone else.
“Especially in the season I was in — separation, divorce, living on my own, my dad’s illness, COVID, etc.,” Bailey continued. “His response was, ‘So, you are writing a book about your experience, your testimony that will help and heal others?’ My response: ‘No sir. I am just journaling.’ In the end, the seed was planted, and he continued to water it until I caught on to the vision and now it is a book.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.
It wasn’t long thereafter that Bailey’s ENDing Us: A Transformation Journey Through Divorce, Disease and Death has become a long-awaited reality.
A spiritually-empowering, life-altering book that has created a fervent buzz across various message boards and social media platforms, Bailey’s ENDing Us: A Transformation Journey Through Divorce, Disease and Death appropriately reminds her readers that, “If you have ever faced divorce, disease, death, disappointment, or depression, you are not alone,” according to detailed synopsis of this Memphis-based writer’s book via https://www.3tandthem.com/endingus.
“ENDing Us is not just my story — it’s a lifeline for anyone searching for hope in the midst of life’s most painful battles,” Bailey writes. “This book invites you to be vulnerable, to heal, and to see that no matter how dark things seem, God’s hands are bigger than your burdens. When you feel like giving up, know that you are stronger than you think.”
When asked what divine message she aspires to send to her readers by way of her new book, Bailey said:
“To not only help me heal, but to be a beacon of hope and voice for those who stop amid challenges without proceeding through to the end. When one stops and gives up — like I wanted to do so many times — it is easy to become part of the walking dead tribe — alive physically but dead emotionally and mentally — with no purpose.”
Having been journaling “for most of my life,” Bailey admittedly did not see her purpose for emerging as author until her marriage ended in 2020.

To her credit, she would finish ENDing Us three years later.
All things considered, the Chicago native is forever grateful to the wise counsel of the late Apostle Floyd.
“Part of my purpose is to share my testimony of how life could have broken me. But God…,” Bailey said. “My purpose is to be a walking example of how to lean into, face planted, in God’s unwavering arms, making His voice louder than the noise.”
SHE DID THAT, MANE

Now that her first book has garnered an outpour of public support, Bailey said other published works are on the horizon.
“I believe God has given me another book,” Bailey told MHN. “I am still having fellowship with Him to get understanding. My flesh is saying, ‘This is not God, it is too soon.’ But my spirit is telling me, ‘It is God.’ So, I am seeking Him to make sure I am hearing His voice.”
After all, if Bailey’s said it once to her readers, she’s said it a countless number of times:
“I am a conqueror. I am a survivor. And I win. Now, it’s time for you to win, too.”
