PATHWAY TO VICTORY

To her distinctly unique credit, Tinna Bellamy could be appropriately described as a woman who wears many hats.
Consider, for instance, the remarkably brilliant strides Bellamy has made as an esteemed author, transformational speaker, real estate agent and investor, and a licensed certified medical coder.
As if that isn’t enough to turn heads, Bellamy, 46, is the founder of Serenity Pathways Foundation, her Zebulon, North Carolina nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people, particularly those transitioning out of foster care.
In essence, such a life-altering transition is executed largely through faith-based mentorship, financial literacy, career development, transitional housing, and homeownership education, Bellamy told Making Headline News as part of its 2025 Essence Music Festival advance coverage for “the party with a purpose” event July 3-7 in New Orleans.

Interestingly enough, Bellamy is the architect of Serenity Pathways- Faith, Forgiveness & Moving Forward, her newly-released memoir that is more than a testimony, the first-time published author acknowledged.
“It’s a guide for anyone navigating the hard but holy road of healing,” Bellamy explained. “Through chapters that read like life lessons, I open the door to my soul and walk readers through my journey.”

In essence, Bellamy’s memoir is the heartbeat of a movement, giving rise, she said, to Serenity Pathways Foundation — a credible organized designed to customarily help others heal, hope, and build a brighter future.
“My competitive drive (as an entrepreneur) was never about outdoing anyone else. It was about outgrowing the version of me that was just trying to survive,” Bellamy told MHN. “I wasn’t in competition with others. I was in competition with the limits life attempted to place on me. That inner drive to thrive — not just exist — is what propelled me into Serenity Pathways Foundation, Serenity Pathways: Faith, Forgiveness, and Moving Forward, BIG Realty, and every other business venture I am involved in.
“I chose to stop striving for validation and started walking in obedience-doing what God called me to do. I believe that’s where the real victory began.”
More than anything, Bellamy doesn’t shy away from the notion that she relishes when someone has changed based on Serenity Pathways.
“I love to witness the shift from, ‘I’m broken’ to ‘I’m becoming,’” Bellamy said. “That is a priceless moment. It brings joy and tears (to my eyes) when I hear someone say that they have been inspired to do more and then go out to do something about it. I love that Serenity Pathways Foundation creates a space for healing, hope, and purpose. Serenity Pathways Foundation is more than nonprofit. It’s a safe haven for people, especially young people and young families where generational cycles are broken and where something new can be built.”
A native of Princeville, North Carolina, Bellany is a graduate of Tarboro High School.
She holds an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology from Edgecombe Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport.
A Serenity Pathways Foundation that primarily caters to young adults ranging in ages 18-to-30 — “a critical season for building identity, purpose, and stability” — Bellamy said her mission for overseeing a credible nonprofit organization is centered in large part on helping others break cycles, build legacy, and walk in wholeness—spiritually, emotionally, and financially.
“I want to be who I needed when I was younger to empowering others break generational cycles, walk in healing, and discover their God-given purpose,” Bellamy said.
That’s not all.
“I want to use my story, my faith, and my journey to show others that they don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode,” Bellamy added. “They can thrive, dream, and build a life of stability, legacy, and impact. This is more than service, it’s about transformation, one life, one family, and one generation at a time.”

By all accounts, Bellamy is forever grateful to a village that is comprised of a gallery of valiant supporters.
“Among those who have inspired me to do this are the women who came before me and made a way with so little, like my grandmother, my mother, and my aunts,” Bellamy said. “I am also inspired by my daughters and grandsons. They remind me every day why breaking generational cycles matter. Most importantly, though, I am inspired by God. His grace, His timing, and His calling on my life to turn my pain into purpose and my journey into a pathway for others.”
