RAISING THE TEA BAR

Titile Niamke has yet to reach 30 years of age.
Regardless, she’s steadily making her presence felt as a thriving, progressive entrepreneur.
To her credit, Niamke, 28, has garnered a wave of media attention since she established The Tea Bar 901 seven years ago.
Generally, The Tea Bar 901 is a Memphis-based natural product company that customarily specializes in raw honey, honey-based beverages, and skincare products.

As part of Making Headline News’ 2025 Essence Music Festival advance national coverage for “the party with a purpose” event July 3-7 in New Orleans, Niamke, a native Memphian, said what she loves the most about her flourishing business venture is the trust people place in her wide range of products.
“It’s an honor to be part of their wellness journey,” Niamke said. “Knowing that something I’ve created is contributing to someone’s healing or overall health is incredibly rewarding. Honestly, it wasn’t competition that fueled me. It was compassion. I saw family and friends battling chronic health issues like diabetes, ADHD, and depression.”
As Niamke recalls, such a rash of health issues that routinely surfaced throughout her family subsequently fueled her fervent desire to start a rising health and wellness venture, one that has emerged as a massive game-changer in Memphis and the surrounding areas.
“(The health issues in my family) stirred something in me,” Niamke told MHN. “I began researching herbs and teas and experimenting with combinations that could help. After giving my creations away and seeing how effective they were, people began asking to buy them and that’s how the business began.”
Niamke’s The Tea Bar 901 products are available to individuals and groups of all ages.
“We serve a wide range, from young adults to seniors,” Niamke said. “Wellness has no age limit, and we’re here for everyone looking to live healthier.”
SPANNING THE 901

By all accounts, Niamke’s mission through her business, she said, is centered in large part on bridging the gap between nature and community, thus making health and wellness more accessible through what she describes as “simple, honest” products.
“I want to create generational change through education, access, and empowerment, especially for those in underserved communities,” Niamke, a former Middle Tennessee State University student, said.
A business that has amassed a wave of local and regional media coverage in recent months, Niamke relishes her gallery of valiant supporters, many of whom inspired her to diligently pursue her lofty entrepreneurial ambitions.
“My inspiration comes from my friends, family, and the community around me,” Niamke said. “They’re the reason I started, and they’re the reason I keep going. I wanted to make something real, something beneficial, and something rooted in love.”

Mission accomplished for this flourishing Mid-South businessman whom, much to her delight, is reaping her share of sustained success — seven years and counting.
“So many people — especially young people — don’t see examples of success in nontraditional careers like beekeeping,” Niamke said. “I want to show them that with the right mentors, a genuine heart, and a strong work ethic, there truly are no limits. Your gift is enough. You are enough.”
