That’s because the kid-chef-turned-author recently witnessed the ceremonious release of Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills by Kid Troy 2nd Edition.
With the fervent support and backing of his father, Terrence D. Robinson, Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills by Kid Troy 2nd Edition debuted in Summer 2026, an awe-inspiring written work that comes approximately four years after its original version.
“Around Summer of 2022, I stepped away from my job solely on faith to focus on my son’s brand,” Robinson, the Executive Director of Kid Troy, LLC, told Making Headline News. “One of the projects for said company was creating this interactive cookbook I envisioned.”

Generally, Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills by Kid Troy 2nd Edition is an interactive cookbook for families, one that is comprised of a slew of recipes —many of which are featured via his ‘Kookin’ With Kid Troy YouTube channel.

“To sum it up is because God told me too,” said Robinson, when asked what the single, most underlying reason was he spearheaded his son’s latest book. “But to deliberate and expound, I want to bring knowledge and passion back to family value by way of interaction in the kitchen. Cooking has been my passion since I was seven years old. Now I’m fostering that same love for food and creation with my son.”

In retrospect, Robinson implemented the legwork for the Kid Troy’s Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills book series in Summer 2022, needing approximately two weeks to complete the initial edition.
“I spent about 12-to-15 hours per day to write the book cover-to-cover,” Robinson told MHN. “Then I got a professional editor to edit the book and review the book before we published it.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.
Since the release of the sophomore edition of Kid Troy’s Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills, Robinson and Kid Troy have garnered an assortment of favorable reviews.
“People loved the recipes and the cooking show from which they came,” Robinson said. “Being able to watch the food be made by the creators and the customer being able to follow along is not done by any other cookbook.”
In a nutshell, Robinson emphasized that God’s purpose for the book is centered largely on feeding His people.
“Kid Troy’s brand incorporates scripture, which is the food for the spirit and of God’s word with His food for the body,” Robinson explained.
Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills by Kid Troy 2nd Edition is Robinson’s fifth authorship project to date.

He kicked off his authorship debut in 2004 with release of The Perfect Man. Consequently, he released Divinity in 2005.
Then after a 17-year writing hiatus, he released the first edition of Gourmet Meals With Grade School Skills by Kid Troy in 2022, followed by the book, Oh Taste & See: The Culinary Memoir by Chef TD Robinson, which debuted in 2024.
