For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18/ESV)
GRACE TO OVERCOME

DALLAS — By all accounts, it was arguably the darkest season of Dezarita Dashai’s life.
“God always gives us a test so that we can turn it into a testimony for the Lord‘s glory only,” Dezarita Dashai, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the rash of downtrodden developments surrounding the untimely passing of her husband. “I’ve always been one to turn my pain into purpose and my tea into a testimony so that others can learn for me how God is God all by Himself.”
To her distinctly unique credit, Dezarita Dashai — who’s suitably known as Desiray Felton-Davis — has gone to great lengths to weather arguably the toughest of storms, thus bear the infirmities of the weak, most notably by way of Whispers Of A Widowed Warrior, her featured book that made its ceremonious debut in November 2025.

“(I wrote this book) so the world can understand how hard grief is, but to understand even more that God can heal us all,” Dezarita Dashai said.
A riveting, fascinating written that is comprised of 321 pages, Dezarita Dashai’s Whispers Of A Widowed Warrior vividly recalls the joy that unfolded in her life a little more than a decade ago.
Said Dezarita Dashai via an intriguing synopsis of her featured written work via Amazon.com:
“Ten years ago! It’s your wedding day; it’s my wedding day. It’s our wedding day! With this ring, I say I do. I give my heart and my soul to you (Three Piece)! I walked down the aisle, dressed in white. Swaying to the beat of India Arie, pouring my feelings out of my heart for all to hear. Let me tell you why I love him. Because he is the truth.
“I said he is so real, and I love the way that he makes me feel. And if I am a reflection of him. Then I must be flying. Because his light shines so bright! There was my Superman, wrapped in white, chocolate melted just right from his nerves, waiting patiently. He slipped that beautiful ring onto my finger, and I lost it. There was a park full of people, yet none existed when we locked gazes.”
