MIRROR IMAGE OF FAITH 

DALLAS — At the end of the real day, Kambria Hardnett made sure she had done the very thing that mattered most.

She simply trusted the process.

At the end of the real day, God was faithful and just to have done the very thing that mattered most to His beloved daughter.

He rewarded her mightily for weathering and conquering the process, exalted her unlike never before for exercising her faith in such a way that it has benefited others as a result.

“I’ve had an extremely tough time while being in college, and I feel that what I have written will help others when going through tough times, feeling like there is no way out,” Hardnett, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that have contributed to her quest of becoming an author.

A senior at the University of West Georgia, Hardnett is the mastermind behind the awe-inspiring book entitled, “Matters of HER: A Millenial’s Faith Building Process,” her newly-produced written work that is a couple of months removed having been officially published.

For Hardnett, a Mass Communications major — with a minor in African American studies — her new book is an authentic testament of her hard work, coupled with her bend-but-don’t-bend faith she’s steadfastly exemplified, particularly since making the transition from high school to college.

Interestingly, Hardnett doesn’t shy away from the notion that her book was produced, in large part to serve as a spiritual GPS system, of sorts, to those who look up to her.

“What pushed me to finish I would say it was little cousins and play nieces,” said Hardnett, a native of Newnan, Georgia, who commenced to composing her book in August 2017. “I want them to know that this is a process; it’s going to be hard at times and to know that there is a reason for the pain.”

A book that is comprised of just five chapters — with the No. 5 signifying the spiritual number for the term, “grace,” this writer acknowledged —- Hardnett’s “Matters of HER” is spearheaded by the familiar Biblical passage that is  Ephesians 2:8, which addresses the subject of faith in great detail.

“This book saved my life,” Hardnett said of a book that was written by the Apostle Paul. “It saved me spiritually, and I only pray that it does the same for someone else.”

To Hardnett’s credit, that seems to already be the case, given the favorable feedback she’s garnered since word spread of her newly-produced book.

“The feedback has been nothing short of amazing, (people saying) just hearing how relatable the book is, or how those twice my age have been blessed by it,” Hardnett said. “I’m just grateful for all of the feedback I’ve received thus far.”

A book that is especially geared toward encouraging her fellow millennials, Hardnett’s authorship debut, too, has been nothing short of amazing.

Which, much to her delight, sums up why a few more written works are on the horizon, she said.

“Yes…I have a couple of books in mind, and a possible idea for a script,” Hardnett said.

More than anything, college student-turned-author is overwhelmingly grateful for God’s unmerited favor on her life, which is why she’s fully persuaded the best is yet to come.

“I believe that everything I have gone through prepared me for the moments in which I was writing,” said Hardnett, “because these chapters aren’t just ideas I’ve had about the process, but revelations to things I’ve gone through.”
