For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 KJV)
HANDPICKED BY GOD
Quite frankly, it doesn’t matter, really, how long it took Debra Kay to herself, amid a broken marriage.
The fact remains, she eventually did with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“It took me being in a marriage for 13 years to now to find myself,” Kay told Making Headline News this week. “I knew partially that I had worth once I got married, but I still settled for less than I deserve.”
Still, though Kay endured a rash of hardships and struggles during a marriage that had ultimately gone south, such a life-altering encounter didn’t merely deter her from having connected with her God-mandated purpose.
A native from Patrick County, Virginia, Kay, 51, is the mastermind behind DK To The Worth Of A Woman, her credible coaching venture that is scheduled to go into full operations June 1.

“From that experience (marital dissolution), I came into being the worth of a woman,” said Kay, explaining the memorable developments that contributed mightily to her having started her empowerment coaching endeavor. “I had come to realize before the divorce occurred that my worth was tied into Jesus and (no one else). God is helping me to live my best life now.”
And, for that reason, Kay is abundantly grateful — grateful of the fact that God has revealed Himself in her life, regardless of the past sufferings that previously emerged in her life to challenge her faith.
A newly-erected empowerment venture that services like-minded women ranging in ages 45 to 50, Kay’s DK To The Worth Of A Woman is centered largely on aiding women, particularly those who are in dire search of knowing who they are, they unknowingly search in the wrong places.
“I have a system set up to teach them how to know their worth and how to not settle for less again,” Kay explained. “It is an inside job that flows from the outside of her. I had to overcome in order for me to be put in the position to train and coach other women that are like I used to be. I am the right woman to help other women find out how to walk out their worth in the right way.”
A PIVOTAL REMINDER…
Widely known amongst her peers as “Coach DK,” Kay doesn’t shy away from the notion that God has strategically anointed her to be a monumental beacon of light, and not just within her familiar establishment of Virginia. But globally.
“My drive to come out of my shell is because God has placed so much in me, it is not profitable to the world or me to keep all this greatness from God to myself,” Kay said. “It is selfish, so I am completely revamping my ideas of being out in the public and being on camera. I have not liked the camera. Now the camera is my friend.”
So much, in fact, that Kay is quick to issue a notable reminder.
“You will be seeing more of Debra Kay on the camera and doing the thing for Jesus,” she said. “This is what God called me to. This is a 24-year prophecy that I am now accepting.”
As Kay explained, she’s always been armed with a fervent passion that’s geared toward women in ministry, a trend that spans some 12 years.
“I already speak to women about knowing who they are, but now I am able to speak to so many women online,” said Kay, who announced an online speaking endeavor for her women’s group via Facebook entitled, To The Worth Of A Woman, a show that will air every Monday and Friday.
An accomplished author of 10 books to date, Kay will appear regularly on her To The Worth Of A Woman coaching page, most notably on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, she said.
CHANGING A GENERATION
Interestingly, Kay has assembled The Worth Of A Woman blog and podcast, both of which are accompanied by the name “Debra Kay.”
“My personal mission is to see women view themselves as God does and walk out their worth and purpose,” said Kay, referencing Jeremiah 29:11 and Philippians 1:6.
“There are so many levels of this best life,” Kay said. “It is indescribable; you just have to do it. It is my desire to coach and train other women to do the same. Life is so much more than a sexual encounter. That is another subject altogether. I will stay on task.”
And, it doesn’t matter, really, how long it took her to find herself.
The fact remains, she eventually did with God, her Helper, steering the way.
