Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24 NKJV)
MARRIAGE GOD’S WAY
In an era whereby a countless number of believers, by all accounts, are taking lightly the sanctity of marriage, Pastor Julia Knowlin has deemed it essential to give a thought-provoking sermon, of sorts, one that has come wrapped up in an awe-inspiring book.
During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Knowlin explained in great detail sometime in 2010, God has strategically given her the vision to compose ARISE: Marriage-Unwed Pregnancy-HIV-Black Male-Female Relationships, her spiritually-empowering book that addresses an assortment of pertinent topics and issues pertaining to marriage.
“I chose to write this book because God instructed me to do so and He, gave me title and content,” said Knowlin, a Conway, South Carolina-based writer, recalling the memorable developments that led to the production of her having made her ceremonious authorship debut.
A spiritually-convicting book she began writing a decade ago, Knowlin needed somewhere in the neighborhood of three years to complete a written work that is comprised of 160 pages in length.
Published officially on December 21, 2013, Knowlin’s ARISE: Marriage-Unwed Pregnancy-HIV-Black Male-Female Relationships vividly addresses several significant topics to which the Body of Christ must adhere, this Christian-based writer has insinuated.

By and large, in Knowlin’s ARISE: Marriage-Unwed Pregnancy-HIV-Black Male-Female Relationships, her message to the modern-day is rather forthright and direct.
“Marriage will keep us out of sin…marriage God’s way will keep us out of hell,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Knowlin’s book that sales for $21.
In other words, this writer precisely emphasizes, her book for the most part has been widely described as an “End Time Message,” meaning the church had better take heed or else it will be left with the brutal task of having to witness the wrath of God.
As expected, the feedback since the much-anticipated release of Knowlin’s book has been nothing short of remarkable, given the vital information she eloquent shares, much of which is accompanied by scripture.
A native of Georgetown, South Carolina, Knowlin is the founder of World Harvest Church Ministries, a church she organized in 2010.
“After reading (this book), people know that my book came from heaven, not from me,” Knowlin said. “Some cried throughout book.”
Most importantly and much to the delight of this author, several of her readers had ultimately grasped a newfound disposition about marriage.
“Marriage God’s way places people in right, healthy relationships,” Knowlin said. “Wounded, broken hearts need divine healing for you to have peace, love, joy, faith and happiness in Jesus Christ.”
Ironically, Knowlin in 2010 was met with a God-orchestrated vision to write Three Main Reasons We Struggle To Have Good Health, a book that is currently in the works with a release date that has yet to be announced.
A ministerial career than spans a little more than two decades, Knowlin’s rise to preaching the Gospel occurred in 1999 during which she was in a coma, her life suddenly hanging in the balance in the process.
But God…
“I received my calling from God while in a coma…when He took my spirit up to heaven and I met Jesus,” Knowlin said. “I have never been the same.”
That’s evident, given the immeasurable strides she’s made as one of God’s beloved spokesperson since she sold out completely to Jesus Christ.
“I am called to preach and teach Word of God to the nations,” Knowlin said. “My target audience is the American black church, yet the message is universal because all people have same problems, but black relationship problems are more prevalent.”
Generally, the purpose for composing ARISE, Knowlin acknowledged, is centered largely on the Great Commision, which is linked to Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15,” she said.
“(The purpose of this book is) to heal hearts and save souls,” said Knowlin, adding that she plans to write other books, most notably published works that will address wisdom, forgiveness, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as well as her illustrious journey from a registered nurse to a minister for God.
“God healed my broken heart after losing my only child in a fire in 1987,” Knowlin said. “My ex-husband broke into my home, set the building on fire, our only daughter died from smoke inhalation, and he committed suicide.”
