A native of Hooks, Texas — a rural Bowie County establishment that is part of the Texarkana metropolitan area and is comprised of roughly 2,518 residents, according to the latest 2020 U.S. census — Lindstedt is appreciative of the success her initial written work has attracted since its Fall 2020 release.
“God has given each one of us a measure of faith. It’s up to us to activate it and redeem it in our lives,” Lindstedt told Making Headline News this week. “It can be as small as a mustard seed, or as tiny as the light in a firefly. So be like the firefly, let your light shine bright, illuminating every dark corner you encounter in life.”
After the release of Life of a Firefly, Lindstedt consequently produced the books, My Super Sweet Week and Patti Moon and The Magic Balloon, both of which were released in 2021.
Other published works, she said, are forthcoming, much sooner rather than later.
Lindstedt’s next book, In the Age of Fireflies, is “being edited right now,” she told MHN.
This book, she announced, is scheduled to be released December 1.
“I’m hoping it wins as many or more awards than the first book,” Lindstedt said of her soon-to-be-released book. “I will be doing a pre-launch of In the Age of Fireflies, coming soon in November. It will be set up by my publicist.”
In essence, Lindstedt’s Life of A Firefly is a memoir that depicts her life growing up in what she describes as “the slums of the south-side of Chicago.”
