To Price’s credit, her remarkably brilliant book has emerged as a massive — and constant — page turner.
At the sudden disappearance of her older sister, 17-year-old Rosewood Glory Brooks finds herself living her worst nightmare as she is left to take care of her niece, Hazel, as mentioned in a detailed introduction of Price’s novel at Amazon.com.
“Having just graduated high school and earning a full scholarship to a prestigious university, Rose risks losing everything she’s worked so hard for,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Price’s A Rose That Grew From A Textbook In The Village. “Now, faced with a problem that’s not in a textbook, she must figure out how to take care of her six-year-old niece in the college dorms while protecting her from the truth.
SHE CAN, SHE DID
“Rose must also learn to do the very thing she is hesitant to do–let people know who she really is to make room for others in her life. After all, it takes a village to raise a child. Through this emotional journey, Rose is on a hunt to find her missing sister. The more she looks, the more secrets are uncovered and the more her reality crumbles around her. Now, in order to survive the madness, she must face her own traumatic past. A Rose That Grew From A Textbook In The Village is a stunning novel debut that’s sure to capture your heart from beginning to end!”
