Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him and bless His name! (Psalm 100:4)
JOOKIN’ FOR JESUS
Apostle Garry Robinson fielded the question as if he expected.
The question: How did your competitive drive and upbringing in life propel you for your ministry?
“I’ve always had compassion for people,” told Making Headline News during a weekend interview. “I have always desired to make a difference. I always felt it was something special about myself. I didn’t know what it was until God showed me. My encounter with God changed everything about my life.”
Indeed, it has for Robinson, one of God’s beloved spokespersons who suitably known as “Apostle Garry Robinson.”

As part of Making Headline News’ advance coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes’ International Leadership Summit May 4-6 in Orlando, Robinson, 42, emphasized, among other things, that what he appreciates the most about his flourishing ministry is the immeasurable influence it customarily has on the lives of people from various walks of life.
CARRYING ON MOM’S LEGACY
“(It is definitely) the impact that it has on people and lives that have changed from my ministry,” Robinson, the face of God Life Music Ministry and Remnant Nation teaching ministry, told MHN. “(It is) The motivation and inspiration that it gives to others.”
More than anything, Robinson acknowledged, his progressive ministry — whether he’s preaching the gospel or setting the atmosphere through song — is centered largely on the key objective that matters most — luring others to Christ.
“(I’m destined) to draw and lead people to Jesus Christ while being a light to anyone that cross my path,” Robinson said. “(My minister is centered on) building other people into their greatest self through God’s grace.”
A native of Kansas City, Robinson acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from DeVry University in 2010 (he majored in Sales and Marketing).
Ironically, it wasn’t long thereafter that this accomplished businessman-turned-preacher had appropriately found his niche in ministry, a discovery that has since afforded him golden opportunities to put his brilliantly compelling gifts on display in such places as California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, and Maryland, among others.
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
“Over the last three years, I’ve developed as an artist into my own unique sound,” Robinson explains. “My journey had been very challenging but, by God’s grace, I’ve achieved great progress.”
Approximately two years ago, Robinson endured arguably the darkest season of his young life when his mother suddenly passed away.
At the time, he was in the prime of what undoubtedly was shaping up to emerge as a promising, prosperous career, one to which his mother had a front row seat.
Even after his mother’s untimely demise, however, Robinson would ultimately find some sense of solace particularly through his distinctly unique gifts as a gospel recording artists.
SUAVE & DEBONAIRR
After all, continuing on in music, he figured, is something by which his mother would have wanted him to do.
“I lost my mother while pursuing my music career,” Robinson recalls. “It was the darkest thing I had to overcome.”
Fortunately for Robinson, he not only persevered through the constant grief and heartbreak amid his mother’s death but, to his credit, he came back with a vengeance, as evidenced by the immeasurable strides he’s made in recent years while functioning in his element.
Besides his mother — who was his grandest supporter — Robinson credits the likes of Juanita Bynum, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Noel Jones, Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, Bishop Eddie Long, Willie Moore Jr., and Bizzle and Lecrae for helping empower him to diligently pursue his ministerial goals and ambitions.

Much to his delight, Robinson certainly seems well on his way to achieving greatness, considering his musical gifts have gifted way to solid itinerary, one that includes a full production video shoot in Houston April 22, an appearance at the Gospel Indie Awards August 24-26, an appearance at the South Georgia Gospel Music Fest June 10, an appearance at the Gospel Choice Music Awards Bahamas Cruise September 4-8, as well as a forthcoming appearance at the Uncle G Artist Showcase Las Vegas.
“I’m always told my music is an inspiration and it’s uplifting,” Robinson said. “My music is a great deal of my real life. I believe my gift in music is rare and the intention of it is to bring life to others.”
The abundant life that Christ came to give us, to put it more precisely.
