Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV)
ADVANCING THE KINGDOM
DALLAS — For Bishop John Keith Vincent, it all unfolded amid one of the most tumultuous, unprecedented eras in recent memory.
Still, this devout and well-respected man of faith was up for the efficacious task of disclosing to masses that about which God commanded him to minister to His people.
“The vision to write this book came during one of the most difficult times in our countries history, COVID-19,” Bishop Vincent, a Mid-South-area Pastor during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments surrounding his latest authorship exploit.
The book to which he’s alluding is Identity Crisis: The Debilitating Disease of the Church, Bishop Vincent’s highly-anticipated and featured written work that, to his credit, has been as good as advertised since its recent release.

A spiritually-empowering, riveting published masterpiece that officially debuted in February 2023, Bishop Vincent’s Identity Crisis: The Debilitating Disease of the Church is purposed to bring about awareness to current and upcoming spiritual leaders concerning an ideology, a philosophy that, according to this credible faith-based author, has adversely affected the image and influence of the modern-day church.
A 78-page book he needed somewhere in the neighborhood of two-and-a-half years to compose — he began months into the global pandemic and was done sometime in Fall 2022 — Bishop Vincent’s Identity Crisis: The Debilitating Disease of the Church vividly reminds his reading audience that whenever a person allows their spiritual identity to be compromised, it immediately opens a door for them to be victimized, controlled, and manipulated by others, blurring the lines of their spiritual identity, according to a detailed synopsis of this Nashville-based writer’s book via Barnes & Noble online.
CHRIST-CENTERED UNION
“Oftentimes, perpetrators have hidden motives and agendas in order to gain access to the hearts, minds, and even possessions of the vulnerable and unsuspecting,” writes Bishop Vincent, providing an enthralling breakdown of his latest book. “Sadly, too many have been victimized by impostors in the church. These impostors have disguised their identity in the name of religion, using their influence, titles, and positions of authority to fleece the people of God.”
Moreover, Bishop Vincent cites in Identity Crisis, the church has been under what he describes as a cloud of “great scrutiny for many decades,” in large part because of the indiscretions and improprieties of leadership.

“This book will examine, explore, and expose a dangerous indoctrination and help to elevate our affinity back to our true spiritual Father,” Bishop Vincent writes.
The Founder and Senior Pastor of Nashville’s Greater Compassion Ministries, Bishop Vincent’s sophomore book adventure is steadily creating a fervent buzz throughout the Body of Christ, given he’s become the beneficiary of several radio interviews, during which he was afforded golden opportunities to promote and discuss a variety of indispensable issues that have surfaced in the modern-day church.
“The divine message in this book is that only God is deemed worthy of the identity — Spiritual Father — and that no man or woman should ever confuse or equate their spiritual authority to His,” Bishop Vincent said without hesitation. “This book is certainly a part of my purpose and gifting in the developing, equipping, teaching, and imparting wisdom and knowledge to other present and future leaders.”
To his credit, this notable songwriter, recording artist, motivational speaker, and visionary leader has fielded a rash of rave reviews since the ceremonious release of Identity Crisis, something by which he doesn’t merely take lightly.
“The feedback garnered from this book has been very well received,” Bishop Vincent told MHN. “Many are saying that the book is ‘a must read.’ Others claim that this certainly was inspired by the Holy Spirit, and some have said this is a ‘New York Times bestseller.”
THE COLOSSIANS 1:18 AFFECT
Interestingly enough, Bishop Vincent’s latest book also earned mentions in the Los Angeles Times, the sixth-largest newspaper by circulation in the United States.
A second generational pastor who hails from a well-respected pedigree of preaching, Bishop Vincent witnessed his authorship debut come full circle in 2018 with the release of Can You Hear The Clarion Call?
A book that is accompanied by 90 pages, Bishop Vincent’s Can You Hear The Clarion Call? is suitably dubbed an up-close and personal look into the life of a second generation pastor and church plant pioneer whom, through both practical and biblical text, unveils the process of answering and heeding the call of God to affect positive and purposeful change in the world.
“The call of God is like a seed planted into your life, and when that seed is watered and nourished, it grows into a sprouting tree that gives life to many others,” Bishop Vincent writes in an introduction of his Can You Hear The Clarion Call? via LuLu online. “This book can be used as a training tool for those who have newly answered the call into the ministry and/or any call to service, as well as inspiration for those who desire to advance the Kingdom of God.”
FAMILY FOCUS
Other books, Bishop Vincent said, are likely forthcoming.
“There are some other books I’d like to write in the near future,” he said.
As for his latest written work, the Oral Roberts University alum emphasized, among other things, those who take time to read Identity Crisis with an “open heart and mind” will subsequently come away with some revelation and clarity of some sort, particularly concerning their identity in Christ.
“(They will also come away with) a renewed affinity for our true spiritual Father,” said Bishop Vincent, the presiding overseer and founder of the United Fellowship Alliance of Ministries (U.F.A.M.) and president of Greater Compassion Community Initiatives who will commemorate 30 years of marriage with Elect Lady Nicola L. Vincent July 31.
