And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming — it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time. (Habakkuk 2:2-3/MSG)
DESTINY STEPS
Earlier this week, Celeste Wooten took to her social media timeline, where she displayed some long-awaited good fortune.
“Our Amazon bestseller campaign is soon approaching,” Wooten said before her gallery of followers via Facebook.
Much to her delight, Wooten has earned her rightful place for what figures to be a memorable milestone for the ages when her authorship debut comes full circle in the coming weeks.
A rising Virginia Beach, Virginia-based writer, Wooten is one of 13 co-authors who will grace the pages of Home Care Around The Globe Volume I, Dr. Iris Wright’s anthology that will make its ceremonious debut March 9 amid International Women’s Day.

Generally, Home Care Around The Globe Volume I is endeavored in large part to serve as a movement, of sorts, one designed to educate, empower, collaborate, and innovate together.
To her credit, Wooten penned the designated chapter entitled, End Of Life Care: My Why, for an anthology that is currently in its production’s final stages.
Presale orders for the book are effectively underway. Wooten’s book can be purchased by contacting her via her Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/celeste.m.carter1 or by sending email to [email protected].
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Wooten said her strategic vision for joining Dr. Wright’s third book collaboration is because authoring a book has been on her heart for quite some time.
“But I always felt who would want to listen to what a certified nursing assistant has to say,” Wooten explained. “It was then that I had seen the call for authors made by Dr. Iris Wright on social media that I decided to step out on faith with the hopes that maybe one person would be touched by something that I had to say in my writing.”
Having become a catalyst in the hospice industry for the past 27-plus years, Wooten emphasized, among other things, her chapter is especially crucial in large part because of the slew of misconceptions people customarily harbor surrounding hospice care.
“It is such a taboo subject with many layers of negativity and positivity all attached,” Wooten told MHN. “I wanted to show the benefits of the gift of hospice, especially to the African-American culture, which seems to be so — for the lack of a better word — scared because it is often seen as giving up instead of the benefit of living. This benefit, due to myths, lack of hospice education, and mistrust of the healthcare system often lead to families not using the service or getting the service so late that they do not often reap all the benefits.”
As Wooten recalls, she has been writing her selected chapter since last summer.
“I have condensed rewrote and changed so much because there is so much to say,” she said. “But I have enough content to be able to add to volume to which I am a part of and I’m in the process of completing my chapter for that book. This is my first book to be a part of and starting out as a co-author, I feel that this has been a wonderful catapult into the writing world to discuss a subject that I am so passion about.”

As for the divine message she aspires to send to her reading audience through Home Care Around The Globe Volume I, Wooten said:
“(I want my reading audience to know) that hospice is not about dying. It is about living in the moment with quality of life versus quantity of days.’
To her credit, Wooten has fielded a considerable amount of positive feedback since making her authorship debut.
“The feedback received has been wonderful, because I am well known in the Hampton Roads (Virginia) area,” Wooten told MHN. “The response has been very congratulatory because I did step out to talk about such a hard subject, but the way that I discussed it is from a clinical and a personal point of view, which is where my own personal life was affected by having to possibly face life and death.
“God has given me a heart of service to others, not only as a Hospice CNA, but also as an end-of-life doula, and as a certified grief coach,” Wooten continued. “Out of my passion to serve others on this very intimate journey of end of life, my business was created, Joy-N-TheMourning, LLC. I help families who can reach out to me for doula services in a non-medical role and grief aftercare.”
