SAVE THE DATES: Memphis philanthropist Genisha Morton to host Count It All Joy: Shift Your Focus virtual workshop March 1-3

Andre Johnson February 16, 2024

EMPOWRED TO EMPOWER

To her credit, Genisha Morton fielded the question as if she expected it.

“The essence of this event is to facilitate a profound transformation in mindset — a shift from negativity to a powerful and positive outlook on life,” Morton told Making Headline News this week.

The event to which Morton is alluding is Count It All Joy: Shift Your Focus, a three-day virtual empowerment event that is centered in large part on greatly enabling like-minded women to become better versions of themselves.

Powered by the featured theme, Cultivating Resilience Through Gratitude and Positive Thinking, Morton’s Count It All Joy: Shift Your Focus workshop will take place March 1-3 and will stream via Streamlink.

REGISTER FOR THE WORKSHOP: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/count-it-all-joy-shift-your-focus-tickets-764170854597

Admission to this assembly is available via Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/count-it-all-joy-shift-your-focus-tickets-764170854597.

“Join us for an exciting online event, Count It All Joy: Shift Your Focus,” said a spokesperson for Morton’s empowerment assembly via Eventbrite. “Discover the power of shifting your perspective and finding joy in every situation. Our expert speakers will share practical tips and inspiring stories to help you navigate life’s challenges with a positive mindset. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and learn how to embrace joy in your daily life. Reserve your spot now!”

As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Morton emphasized, among other things, the essence of workshop is to facilitate a profound transformation in mindset.

In a nutshell, her event is centered largely on humanity to steadfastly shift from negativity to a powerful and positive outlook on life.

“Through intentional social media engagement and compelling content, I’m creating a space for accountability and connection, fostering an environment where women can tangibly achieve their goals,” Morton, an esteemed Mid-South businesswoman who resides in Memphis, told MHN.

Since word spread of her forthcoming workshop, Morton has become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable feedback and inquiries about the event.

“The overwhelming positive response from the public, marked by numerous inquiries, attests to the event’s potential to inspire, connect, and propel individuals toward realizing their aspirations,” Morton said. “Join us on this transformative journey, where empowerment and achievement are at the forefront.”

After attending and graduating from Towers High School and Chamblee High School, respectively, Morton enrolled at Georgia State University and then Morris Brown College, where she studied music. Consequently, she enrolled at Lincoln College of Technology, where she acquired an Associate Degree in Medical Technology.

A well-respected and beloved empowerment professional in her own right, Morton has composed over 250 books, most notably her featured written work, The Commons: My Life In A Dream.

A single mother, renowned singer, author, empowering life coach, and captivating speaker, Morton is a native Manhattan, New York who boasts solid ties to Georgia.

To her credit, Morton has become a fixture for fearlessly delving into her own life-altering experiences, diligently crafting stories that resonate with the uncomfortable yet profound realities of life. Her passion lies in giving voice to those silenced by adversity, fear, or the stigma of being labeled a liar, she acknowledged.

Moreover, Morton’s narrative is one of empowerment, thus breaking the shackles that bind survivors and leading them towards healing.

Interestingly enough, at the core of her purpose-driven journey is the event, You Don’t Have to Die Broken, a powerful initiative reaching out to those grappling with suicidal thoughts, inspiring them to see the beacon of hope ahead.

By all accounts, Morton’s life is a testament to her commitment to personal growth, driven by her three incredible sons who serve as constant inspirations. She aspires not only to be a better version of herself but also a beacon of strength for others.
