For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18/KJV)

For what it’s worth, LaToya Mason’s spiritual mechanics are such that she could be appropriately described as a worshipper.
A perpetual, assiduous enthusiast, to put it more precisely.
“(I love) being an overcomer,” Mason told Making Headline News this week, recalling the assortment of memorable developments surrounding the makeup of her latest book. “Life-changing situations happen and sometimes it’s out of our control. However, at some point we have to start a healing process so that we can walk in our purpose.”
It is due in large part to the immeasurable divine calling on her life that Mason, this devout woman of faith who is the mastermind behind the Raleigh, North Carolina-based Crown Me Different nonprofit organization, felt greatly inspired to compose I Survived The Fire, her Amazon Bestseller book that has been as good as advertised since its Spring 2024 release.

GRACEFULLY BROKEN
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national coverage of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Second Annual Woman Evolve Conference that takes place September 26-28 from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Mason emphasized, among other things, she sensed it was in her best interest to produce her sophomore book as a strategic way to help advance the kingdom.
“It was an arson,” said Mason, when asked what the single, most underlying reason she was elected to assemble Book No. 2.

A riveting, fascinating written work that is accompanied by 84 pages, Mason’s I Survived The Fire reminds her readers that unexpectedly, things can happen in your life and you will have to act accordingly, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of this faith-based author’s book via Amazon.com.
“Sometimes we may never understand why we were chosen for certain battles,” Mason said of I Survived The Fire via Amazon.com. “Some battles come to shake us up and get our attention while others come to make us stronger. Emotions were all over the place. However, it’s very important to not move off of emotions.
“When the weapons showed up, they formed and caused a big damage, caused everything in my life to be disturbed including my peace.” Mason continued via Amazon. “And even though the weapons formed, they did not prosper. It was the first time I came to a conclusion that I had no control over the situation. What was left was my faith. Everything I worked hard moving forward in life, at this point was gone and I had to focus on what was important the most. This life change experience taught me valuable lessons — to walk by faith and not by sight. What was sent to destroy me, in return, blessed me up!”
Interestingly enough, Mason doesn’t shy away from the notion that composing I Survived The Fire, by all accounts, was a heaven-mandated assignment.
And, if God said it, that settles it.
“(This book is necessary because I’m) being able to testify of his goodness,” Mason told MHN. “I survived cancer twice because God healed my body.”
Not only that, Mason is thoroughly persuaded that given the rash of hurdles through which she had to clear throughout the years, the new book is empowering in such a way that it will reach a countless number of women, — particularly “young girls of all ages” — who are battling with trauma, thus share similar life experiences.
BASKING IN GOD’S GLORY
Prior to I Survived The Fire, Mason witnessed her authorship debut come full circle in September 2022 with the ceremonious release of Locked Up By Silence.
Comprised of 91 pages, Locked Up By Silence vividly reminds Mason’s audience that Life is unpredictable, according to a synopsis of this book via Amazon.com.
“We have no control over choices that force us to deal with major life changes, whether we like them or not,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Mason’s initial book. “Some choose to give up, while others keep trying with everything they’ve got to succeed. Every time we fall down, have setbacks, or lose focus, we have to get back up and fight even harder to succeed.
“Locked Up by Silence was specifically written to help women overcome trauma. It is for women who have been battling with molestation, mistreated in foster care homes, who have grown up without parents and women who are raising children alone. This book is to empower women who wanted to take control of their spiritual destiny and comprehend the power of their thoughts and emotions.”
SEASON OF A REBIRTH
Now with two life-altering books under her belt, Mason announced a third one is currently in the works.
“Yes,” she said, “I am finishing up my third book to publish.”
One that, much to her delight, figures to be just as enthralling as the previous two.
Stay tuned.
