Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
MASTERFUL WORK OF ART
To her distinctly unique credit, Darlise Henderson’s notable stint in the military has been chronicled in an awe-inspiring book.
“I compiled my leadership knowledge that I received during my military career and in life in general and wrote the book,” Henderson told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
The book to which this Maryland author is referring is Success On The Job: For Developing Young Heroes, her featured written work that is centered in large part on all things leadership development for employees, as well as those striving to reach a managerial or supervisory position.

“However, prior to writing the book, I conducted youth and young adult training workshops in the realm of leadership development,” Henderson said. “COVID put a stop to that so I resorted to virtual training and ultimately decided to write the book for people to learn what they may not necessarily receive otherwise.”
A compelling, informative read that is accompanied by 191 pages, Henderson’s Success On The Job: For Developing Young Heroes vividly enlightens her readers that at the completion of reading what she describes as her personal growth and development book, they will be able to discuss workplace professionalism, identify positive character traits, and demonstrate the ability to speak in public without fear, according to a detailed synopsis of this author’s book via Amazon.com.
“This book addresses leadership fundamentals, communication, and management,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Henderson’s Success On The Job. “The material is derived from personal experiences, graduate level education, and military training. If you need to replenish your thirst for success, or if you are new to the workforce, prepare to receive information that will benefit your career — and life.”

Moreover, Henderson emphasized, among other things, her book provides tips “from A-to-Z,” one designed to allow readers an opportunity to reflect on situations they may have encountered, how to handle it, or what they can do to improve their skill set.
“The book also provides details on public speaking and how to overcome your fear of it,” Henderson told MHN. “Lastly, the book speaks about character and how a person can better themselves through various traits and self-discipline.”
A former United States Army soldier who served more than two decades in the military, Henderson said God had blessed her with the vision to compose a book dating back to her childhood.
“This book, however, came to life after I retired from the United States military,” Henderson said. “Throughout my career as a soldier and as a civilian, I have witnessed good leaders as well as a few challenging folks in positions of power. I attended various military courses to develop myself as a professional. I reached the rank of a senior noncommissioned officer, and I received a Master’s Degree in Business.”
Interestingly enough, Henderson acknowledged, Success On The Job was written as a “stress reliever,” of sorts.
“I grew tired of watching poor performers in charge,” Henderson explained. “I wanted to shout my knowledge out to the world I wanted to teach. I wanted to grab folks and tell them they were doing some things wrong or explain to them how they could improve or better themselves.”
Since the release of Success On The Job, Henderson has fielded a slew of rave reviews.
“I have received a lot of verbal feedback from those that have purchased the book as well as positive reviews online,” Henderson said. “An interesting thing about my book is the font, which is slightly larger to assist those with visual challenges.”
Henderson said plans are in the works to assemble a Spanish edition of her featured book. Other written works, she announced, are forthcoming.
“The Lord allowed me to write this book as a way of helping others,” Henderson told MHN. “My purpose in life is to please and serve the Lord and do what is acceptable in His sight.”
Amen.
And Amen.
