A native of Darlington, South Carolina, Young holds an undergraduate degree in English from Claflin University. Consequently, she advanced her education at Ball State University, where she a Master’s in Adult Education and Executive Development in Public Affairs.
Also, Young enrolled at US Army War College, where she studied Strategic Studies.
To her credit, Young has managed to put her immeasurable business mechanics on display in various establishments around the globe, most notably Kabul, Pakistan, American Samoa, “to the mainland,” she said.
