And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those He predestined, He also called, those He called, He also justified. Those He justified, He also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:28-31/NIV)
SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE

All things considered, David Bland was steadfastly determined to remove the masks that, by all accounts, had kept him bound for a considerable amount of time.
For starters, though, he knew full well he had to strategically take his cues from God.
“I was instructed to do it under the direction of God,” Bland, an Atlanta-based faith leader, told Making Headline News, recalling the memorable developments surrounding his authorship debut. “Also, (this book was necessary) because of my journey as a man going through different stages. I endeavored to help other men who can’t speak for themselves. In short, this was written to help men be better and heal from their trauma.”
The book to which Bland is alluding is Conversations of An Emancipated Heart: Man Behind The Mask, his highly-anticipated written work that, much to his delight, is as good as advertised.

An esteemed worshipper, psalmist, pastor, prophet, comedian, songwriter, and servant, Bland’s rise to emerge as a first-time published author comes amid humble beginnings.
“As a man, as we navigate through this thing called life, we experience things and see things that have caused us trauma,” Bland explained. “But there is a healing designed for you.”
A riveting, spiritually-empowering published gem is comprised of 60 pages in length, Bland’s Conversations of An Emancipated Heart: Man Behind The Mask is widely regarded as a massive must read.
“Loneliness, depression, untold secrets, unhealed areas of life. So many questions as to why,” writes Bland via a detailed synopsis of his book via BarnesAndNoble.com. “Why did this happen to me? Why do I feel so alone? So many emotions floating to the surface that have been pressed down, looked over, or just plain ignored for sake of masculinity. Wait…that’s right, I am a man. I’m built tough. I’m supposed to be untouchable, unstoppable, and unbreakable. Yet, I find myself at my breaking point, I feel like I’m having a breakdown, but nobody knows.
“I feel like nobody understands or cares,” continues Bland via BarnesAndNoble.com. “My struggles I keep to myself. I don’t want to appear weak or not in control of my life. Truth is, I’m tired. I’m really tired. I need a way out. I need to be rescued. God, do you see what I’m going through? I need healing.

“I’m ready to take off this mask and live for real. God, I’m ready to have this conversation with you. It’s time. I can no longer hide. Emancipate me, free me from myself, my addictions. My hope is in you. This is me. No title, no facade, just me. I’m ready to be free.”
When asked in what ways do his newly-released book aligns with the purpose for which God created him, Bland said:
“I am called to minister to men and help restore them back to the place where God has destined for them — and us — to be.”
Approximately a month removed from the ceremonious release of Conversations of An Emancipated Heart: Man Behind The Mask, Bland said additional books are forthcoming.
“This is my first book,” Bland, a native of Augusta, Georgia, told MHN. “However, my next project will be The Fabric of A Man while working on Volume 2 of the (current) book series.”
