COMMENTARY: Guest columnist Dr. LaQuita Parks reflects on continuous progression of Atlanta-based Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing — six years and counting

EDITOR’S NOTE: Dr. LaQuita Parks just keeps going and going and going. So much so that this esteemed Atlanta-based businesswoman-turned-philanthropist and two-time Making Headline News Woman of The Year is steadfastly having a massive global impact by way of her credible brand. In lieu of Dr. Parks’ featured entrepreneurial endeavor, Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing, commemorating six glorious years of existence, Making Headline News’ editorial staff deemed it necessary to roll out the red carper for this incredible faith-based businesswoman by allowing her to serve as a guest columnist. That said, we present to you, our readers, some captivating, in-depth commentary by Dr. LaQuita Parks.
As Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing celebrates six incredible years, we pause to honor the stories, the authors, the partnerships, and the lives that have shaped this journey.
You see, what began with a vision to help people take their stories from a thought to a realization which, fortunately for my brand, has grown into an award-winning publishing company — one that is committed to helping voices be heard, stories be preserved, and legacies be created.
Over the past six years, Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing has proudly accomplished these notable milestones:
- Become an award-winning publishing company
- Helped produce international best-selling authors
- Celebrated authors on reaching No. 1 bestseller status
- Celebrated authors earning No. 1 newly-released and top newly-released recognition
- *Published more than 200 book projects, including solo books, children’s books, collaborative works, and anthologies
- Touched the lives of more than 500 authors and aspiring authors through publishing, coaching, mentoring, workshops, consultations, and collaborative opportunities
- Conducted hundreds of writing strategy and book development sessions
- Participated in and hosted hundreds of interviews, author conversations, summits, workshops, and live book experiences
- Facilitated creative writing classes and writing workshops designed to help writers of all ages discover and develop their voices
- Created and published groundbreaking anthologies that bring diverse voices together around powerful themes of healing, transformation, purpose, resilience, and legacy
- Build numerous collaborations and strategic partnerships centered around the belief that there is room for all of us to succeed
- Expand the Veterans Legacy Project, helping preserve the stories, sacrifices, experiences, and legacies of those who served and,
- Created opportunities for new and seasoned writers to move beyond simply writing a book and begin thinking about impact, visibility, purpose, and legacy
More than anything, the vision of Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing continues to grow beyond traditional publishing.
This year, we took another exciting step by filming the pilot episodes of Meet The Author, creating a platform designed to introduce audiences to the person, purpose, and story behind the book.
Consequently, we introduced our Stories In A Bottle Fragrance Collection, an innovative extension of our storytelling mission that demonstrates that stories can be experienced in more ways than one.
THE STANDARD
From books and anthologies to workshops, interviews, television, creative experiences, collaborations, and fragrance, Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing continues to explore new ways to tell stories, amplify voices, and preserve legacies.
And we are just getting started…
That’s because six years represents more than a business anniversary.
It represents six years of pain, progress, and victory.
It represents six years of believing that stories matter.
It represents six years of helping people find the courage to write what they once thought they could never say.
Not only that, it represents six years of watching manuscripts become books, writers become authors, authors become best sellers, and personal stories become lasting legacies.
And for these remarkable reasons, we celebrate every author, client, collaborator, interviewer, partner, supporter, reader, family member, and friend who has been part of this journey.
Surely, there is still more to write.
More voices to amplify.
More stories to publish.
More collaborations to build.
More lives to touch.
More legacies to preserve.
Yes indeed. Pa-Pro-Vi Publishing is six years strong, and we are just getting started.
Pain.
Progress.
Victory.
Your story matters. — Dr. LaQuita Parks
