Interestingly enough, Hunter doesn’t shy away from the notion her business has excelled in large part because of her relentless faith.
“Everything I set my hands to do prospers, so shall your hair,” Hunter says without hesitation while referencing Luke 1:37-38. “I am dually licensed in cosmetology and barbering. However, if I can add value to my skill set, I do so.”
A 2007 graduate of Sterlington High School in Louisiana, Hunter holds Business and Science Degrees, as well as different certifications, trades, and skills sets.
Generally, what she relishes the most about being an entrepreneur is witnessing the favorable reactions and feedback from her clients upon rendering her services.
“What I love most in my business is the big reveal after the hair service is complete is why I do what I do,” Hunter told MHN. “Knowing the people I service are satisfied with the end results solidifies this is what I am meant to accomplish.”
Hunter’s High Maintenance Works services individuals and groups of all ages.
“(We) cater to those who can sit in my chair on their own with no problem,” Hunter said.
Now amid five-plus years in her chosen profession, Hunter is destined to take her immeasurable cosmetology gifts to immense heights.
Much sooner rather than later.
KEEPIN’ IT LOC-KED

“My personal mission for doing this work is to leave an unforgettable impression of positivity,” Hunter said. “I want to create a place of peace for those seeking it. Undeniably, God is a continuous inspiration for moving forward in High Maintenance Works. The inspiration to even get into hair altogether was someone never getting back to me concerning whether they would do my hair or not.”
That, after all, practically sums up why this young Texas entrepreneur is steadfastly devising ways to keep her rising business endeavor on lock.
Literally and figuratively.
