YOU GO, GIRL!

In case you don’t know her, Taura Johnson would like to introduce herself.
A native of Marshall, Texas — a rural Harrison County establishment that is comprised of roughly 23,392 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Johnson is suitably known as Bella Blaque of The Bella Blaque TV brand, her featured Dallas/Fort Worth business endeavor that stems from her Dream Mates matchmaking venture she started in 2014.
Generally, Johnson’s The Bella Blaque TV brand is centered largely on dating, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle with the “highlighted focus” being on bringing together likeminded singles who are intentionally dating, the longtime Texas businesswoman told Making Headline News as part of its 2026 Essence Music Festival advance national coverage for “the party with a purpose” event July 3-5 in New Orleans.
By all accounts, this is done by having couples date in an intentional space and platform known as Bella Blaque TV’s Bella Beauties and Beaus Network of Eligible and Intentional Daters.
SALUTING WOMEN WHO SHAPE OUR WORLD

“My competitive drive in life propelled me for my business venture through life experiences, studies, community, my love, genuineness, and compassion for people and, overall, my love for God,” Bella Blaque, 43, told MHN. “What I like most about being my business, is helping others help themselves, being an unbiased voice of reason; helping singles navigate their singlehood, inspiring and encouraging others and ultimately helping to create healthy relationships and families.”
A senior management analyst, matchmaker, event host, and rising content creator, Bella Blaque’s credible matchmaking venture services mature adults ranging from 21-years-and-up, a show that customarily airs globally, most notably via her YouTube channel.
“My personal mission for doing this work is to bring back intentional dating, help singles navigate the dating world, and move towards being in healthy relationships and marriages for the long-term,” Bella Blaque said. “My ultimate goal is to help create kingdom individuals, relationships, marriages, and families.”
CHECK OUT BELLA BLAQUE
Interestingly enough, Bella Blaque said her inspiration for having delved into such a distinctly unique industry is centered in large part on her unwavering faith in God.
“I have always loved families, couples, and learning about the dynamics of both in addition to the personality traits and characteristics that shape them,” Bella Blaque said. “God has provided the tools and resources needed for me to carry out my purpose, passion, and calling He has placed on my life. I asked God to use me as His vessel, and now I’m moving full speed ahead with fulfilling this calling.”
And, much to her delight, Bella Blaque hasn’t shown signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Why should she when her show is steadily shaping up to emerge as arguably one the finest of its kind?

“(God) wasn’t done molding me yet,” said Bella Blaque, referring to the ceased operations of Dream Mates and subsequently startup of The Bella Blaque TV. “Once I deepened my walk with Him and aligned my life according to His word, it was then that He gave me the vision, resources, and platform to carry out this mission. I have been going strong with The Bella Blaque TV brand since November 2024, and the Bella Beauties and Beaus Network of Eligible and Intentional Daters came to fruition late March 2025.”
Continued Bella Blaque:
“It is imperative that I esteem and inspire others daily because God’s love is so great. And, if He can love us the way He does through our mess, who are we not to show and provide that same love, compassion, and grace to others?”
