GOTTA A-LOVE HER

Just after sunrise Thursday morning, Angenique Haynes — suitably known as Angie Alove — hastened to her social media timeline, where she displayed a rather fascinating, dauntless declaration.
Said Angie Alove via her Facebook Story:
Huge Announcement: “God Don’t Play About Me.”
To grasp a thorough concept as to why this esteemed Chicago native deemed it essential to steadfastly remind the masses of how her Creator feels about her, look no further than the remarkably incredible strides she has made throughout the years by way of her chosen profession.

To her credit, Angie Alove wears a variety of distinctly unique hats, most notably as the chief operating officer of Model Glow Up International and owner of Made to Model LLC.
Also, Angie Alove serves as an advocate for what is known as Self-Love, Mental Health, and Suicide Prevention, as well as an inspirational speaker and media mogul who has become a fixture for operating as a red-carpet host.
As part of Making Headline News’ 2026 Essence Music Festival advance national coverage for “the party with a purpose” event July 3-5 in New Orleans, Angie Alove spoke at length about how she had begun to adopt a keen passion for the entertainment industry dating back to when she was a young girl growing up in the Windy City.
“I started singing since I two (years old) and designing my own wardrobe at the age of 13, having my designs displayed at The Museum of Science And Industry in Chicago and growing into the fashion industry with modeling, acting, doing commercial gigs, fashion shows, and even become a well-known fashion icon and media icon,” Angie Alove recalls.
Named amongst the Most Influential Women To Watch In 2026, Angie Alove said what she likes the most about her chosen profession is customarily inspiring others, particularly like-minded and youngsters who have proven to be motivated by her work.
“(I thrive off) feeling I belong in the world of fashion,” Angie Alove told MHN. “To me, that is epic.”
What’s also “epic” is the laundry list of accolades this accomplished model-turned-media-mogul has garnered since she delved in what could be appropriately described as an ever-evolving entertainment arena some two decades ago.

Angie Alove was named Model Icon of The Year and was dubbed Top 3 Role Model of The Year at The Fashion Awards in 2023.
Then just last year, she was named amongst the Top 10 Queens by International Face Magazine.
Having held honors as Elite Model, Role Model, and Ms. Couture La Rouge, Angie Alove’s achievements includes having served as podcast co-host of an area non-for-profit organization (Smitty’s Isop3n Artist Inspos Podcast) during which she conducted more than 50 interviews.
Having served as co-host on for Chicago’s Rejoice 102.3 FM, Angie Alove in July 2025 was named Woman of The Month and graced the pages of a variety of publications, most notably Power Magazine and International Face Magazine.
Also, last year, Angie Alove was named a recipient for the Humanitarian Award during what is known as the Survivors Luncheon.
“My mission is to leave a whole legacy, inspiring a whole nation,” said Angie Alove, whose wealth of expertise is starting to attract more of an international presence, given she once graced the pages of a South African newspaper.
GLOBAL IMPACT

As Angie Alove vividly recalls, David Cherry of Chicago’s All-Stars Project heads a long list of dignitaries who has greatly inspired her to find her niche in the entertainment industry.
“(My work) is taking me to a whole level of greatness, from press releases with Power, being recognized in a Kenyan newspaper, being featured in book called, Most Inspirational Women Leaders of The World — which is available at the Library of Congress and Amazon — to being on billboards in New York, Chicago, South Africa, and Kenya.
“I always tell people be kind because you never know what a person is going through,” continued Angie Alove, explaining the significance of esteeming others daily. “I was once a girl who was bullied and teased from my disability and had to grow to learn myself and embrace who I am as an individual. I think it’s very important to spread awareness on self-love, anti-bullying autism awareness, or any disabilities, to be a voice and a face (and empower others) that you’re not alone and you can overcome anything. I am that example.”
Indeed, she is.
That, after all, practically sums why God doesn’t play about her.
