Lakeisha Little-Shaw wasn’t merely California dreamin.’
Her fervent quest to be named Ms. Corporate America 2026 had become a much-anticipated reality.
A Stockton, California native, Little-Shaw was named Ms. Corporate America 2026 during Orlando, Florida businesswoman Dr. Anissa King-Paul’s 18th annual event in June.
When her name was called as the final contestant standing, Little-Shaw extended both hands towards, wasting little time paying homage to the Man Who made it all possible from the outset.
CROWN FIT FOR A QUEEN

“My very first reaction was to praise God,” Little-Shaw told Making Headline News during an exclusive interview. “Before I celebrated anything else, I gave Him all the glory. If you watch the video, you’ll actually see me worshipping on stage the moment my name was announced.”
Aside from demonstrating reverence and honor to her Creator, Little-Shaw — while basking in the glory of the moment — was subsequently left “overwhelmed with gratitude, joy, and disbelief,” she acknowledged.
“I thought about every obstacle, every setback, every season where I questioned whether I was enough,” said Little-Shaw, trying her best to thoroughly process what had just unfolded. “In that moment, God reminded me that He had been preparing me all along. I wasn’t just thinking about winning a crown, I was thinking about every person who has walked alongside me, every life we’ve been able to impact through SHAW 4 Community, and every little girl watching who now knows that purpose, perseverance, and faith can take you places you never imagined. It was one of the most humbling moments of my life.”
The founder and CEO of Ms. Corporate America Organization, LLC, Dr. King-Paul emphasized, among other things, the strategic mission for Ms. Corporate America is centered in large part on redefining beauty standards.
Generally, this is accomplished by prioritizing intelligence, leadership, and empowerment.
“More than just a competition, we are a movement dedicated to empowering women to embrace their brilliance and excel in their professional endeavors,” Dr. King-Paul, a longtime, entrepreneur, real estate professional, publicist, and community activist told MHN during a March 2024 interview.
A nationally-acclaimed empowerment assembly that debuted in 2008, the MCA platform customarily gives women a voice to promote their career accomplishments and community service initiatives to a national audience, organizers for the Ms. Corporate America Competition said.

For Little-Shaw, meanwhile, that she was crowned Ms. Corporate America 2026, by all accounts, is far more than a personal achievement, she explained.
“It is an opportunity to amplify a mission that has always been bigger than me,” Little-Shaw told MHN. “This title gives me a national platform to advance the Wellness Equity Movement, a movement dedicated to ensuring that every individual has access to holistic health and wellness regardless of income, race, or where they live.”
Interestingly enough, Little-Shaw sensed being dubbed Ms. Corporate America likely wouldn’t have to come to fruition if not for her valiant gallery, particularly those in the native stomping ground of Stockton.
“I am proud to call it home,” said Little-Shaw, a certified personal trainer, wellness coach, and nutrition coach who holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism. “Growing up in an underserved community shaped my passion for service and inspired the work I do today. My mission has always been to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or zip code, has access to the resources, support, and opportunities needed to live healthier lives.”
