MAKING NATIONAL STRIDES

Longtime Georgia philanthropist Jay Vinson is about to take his rightful place on the national stage.
The founder and CEO of the Atlanta-based JV Athlete Advisory Institute, Vinson has accepted an invitation to serve as a featured speaker during the Matrix Girls Flag Football Leadership Summit & Combine, a full-day empowerment athletic and personal development event for young female student-athletes, he told Making Headline News this week.
Powered by Matrix Sports Academy, this event will take place November 21 from 12-2:30 p.m. EDT at the Boys & Girls Club at Warren Field, located at 790 Berne Street in Atlanta.
A $50-per-athlete registration fee is required and is open via the Matrix National Rankings page at https://www.matrixnationalrankings.com/.
“This engagement aligns with my work through the JV Athlete Advisory Institute, my university teaching, and my writing,” said Vinson, a member of West Georgia University’s faculty staff. “It gives me an opportunity to help young athletes understand how their reputation, social media presence, and decisions can affect future opportunities, while sharing practical steps they can take now to prepare for NIL and life beyond sports.”
Generally, the Matrix Heart Hustle Harmony Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization that serves as the charitable arm of the Matrix Sports Academy.
The organization is dedicated largely to empowering female student-athletes through sports-based leadership, social-emotional learning, and academic enrichment.
Also, the foundation primarily supports high school girls involved in flag football, thus provides skills development, travel team experiences, and college exposure, helping young women build confidence and succeed both on and off the field.
Moreover, the foundation was selected as one of only 32 organizations nationwide to receive a Gainbridge Assists grant (powered by Parity and the Women’s Sports Foundation) to invest in girls and women in sports.
Named Making Headline News Man of The Year for an unprecedented fourth consecutive year in 2025, Vinson said his latest speaking engagement is a testament to the strides he’s made in recent years, particularly through his feature brand and purpose.

According to Vinson, he was first presented with the golden opportunity to speak at Matrix Girls Flag Football Leadership Summit & Combine sometime last week via an email from Matrix Heart Hustle Harmony Foundation representative Roma Marshall.
“I felt honored and excited to be invited,” Vinson told MHN. “The topic closely connects with my work, and I appreciated the opportunity to share practical guidance with young female athletes.
During the Summit, Vinson said he has plans to speak about the subject: Building Your Brand Before The Deal: Personal Branding and NIL For High School Athletes.
“I’ll focus on building a positive reputation, making thoughtful choices online and offline, and understanding how personal branding connects to NIL and future opportunities,” Vinson said. “Roma shared that the organizers are excited about my participation and believe the conversation about personal branding and NIL will be valuable for the girls as they think about their futures and opportunities.”
