Breast Cancer Survivor Establishes Global Presence Offering Transformational Health and Wealth Services

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS NEW YEAR 2019 SPECIAL REPORT

What better way to kick off the New Year than by establishing a plan to upgrade your health and financial status?

That’s what breast cancer survivor and Detroit-area businesswoman Nicole Pettiway has become most noted for doing — strategically helping busy professional men and women achieve and sustain their health and wealth goals.

“I believe all women and men deserve to have vibrant health and financial freedom,” Pettiway told Making Headline News during a recent interview.

CHANGING A GENERATION

MAJOR MILESTONE — Detroit native and breast cancer survivor, Nicole Pettiway, 49, used her mentoring experience of more than two decades and four years of coaching experience to launch The Health and Wealth Company, LLC — a progressive business venture that offers professional men and women transformational health and financial services so they can experience lasting lifestyle changes.

Detroit native and breast cancer survivor, Nicole Pettiway, 49, used her mentoring experience of over two decades and four years of coaching experience to launch The Health and Wealth Company, LLC — a progressive business venture that offers men and women transformational health and financial services so they can experience lasting lifestyle changes.

The Health and Wealth Company is geared towards empowering men and women with the skills and support to achieve vibrant health as well as tools to make wise economic decisions through private or group coaching programs and workshops. These online or local programs use two strategic frameworks: 7 Keys to Vibrant Health and 6 Keys to 6+ Figures, with the mission to empower “health-conscious and financially focused men and women” to take control of their health and finances in order to achieve and sustain their health and wealth goals. Pettiway tailors her programs to fit the health or financial goals of her clients.

Pettiway’s journey to pursuing a business venture in the health and financial industries stemmed from overcoming adversities in her own journey.

“The blueprints I share with my clients are the same blueprints that I used on my own journey with overcoming breast cancer and getting on the road to financial freedom,” said Pettiway. “…by providing transformational health and wealth coaching programs that use the blueprints for vibrant health and financial freedom.”

Pettiway’s global recognition as a Health and Wealth Coach, was said to be in large part due to her natural ambition, drive, leadership skills, and desire to serve others, which combined has fueled her desire to serve through a venture that is attracting a global presence.

APPLIED KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

“I was raised to be the best at my craft and to be self-sufficient,” Pettiway said. “With those traits and my upbringing, I had no choice but to succeed.”

Pettiway’s fervent quest to raise the bar as a thriving businesswoman undoubtedly has benefited her greatly since first setting foot into the world of entrepreneurship.

“I have never been afraid to go against the norm when I believe in something wholeheartedly. I am certain this is why God started preparing me in 2016 for what has become my next assignment. Until 2016, I was on a forward trajectory to becoming a C-Level Executive in Corporate America with a stellar career, awards, and accolades behind me,” said Pettiway.

Pettiway ultimately discovered God’s altered plans to strategically reassign her to the world of entrepreneurship — which, as she found out, wasn’t a bad path after all.

POISED FOR A TURNAROUND — Pettiway’s global recognition as a Health and Wealth Coach, was said to be in large part due to her natural ambition, drive, leadership skills, and desire to serve others, which combined has fueled her desire to serve through a venture that is attracting a global presence.

“In 2016, I was introduced to personal finance in-depth, both as a consumer and an entrepreneur,” said Pettiway, recalling the time she joined myEcon, the Personal Financial Success Company.

“My position as an independent contractor with myEcon gave me my first exposure to entrepreneurship and I fell in love (with it).”

“I was personally mentored by multi-millionaires and personal finance experts,” Pettiway said.  “Being able to vastly improve my finances and help other families do the same became my new passion and pursuit.”

ON CENTER STAGE — For what it’s worth, even when adversity surfaced, even when it seemed that Pettiway’s life — as precious and fragile as it is — had endured a horrific, tear-jerking roadblock, there was God, working behind the scenes providing her a way of escape.

“It was at this time when my career goals shifted from working in Corporate America and helping businesses thrive to helping improve the lives of families across America using what I call ‘the secrets of the wealthy’,” said Pettiway.

For what it’s worth, even when adversity had surfaced, even when it seemed that Pettiway’s life — as precious and fragile as it is — had endured a horrific, tear-jerking roadblock, there was God, working behind the scenes providing for her a way of escape.

“God wasn’t finished with me yet,” said Pettiway, recalling the challenges of 2017, during which she was diagnosed with breast cancer. “This became the biggest battle of my life. Through divine intervention, I was exposed to alternative and holistic medicine, and I made the decision to forego chemotherapy and radiation and use my body’s natural ability to heal.”

“This required substantial changes in my lifestyle – a total mind, body, and spirit makeover,” Pettiway continued. “I believe God knew that I would be up for the challenge, so I forged ahead and made massive changes in my life. I had surgery to remove the tumor, and I am blessed to proclaim as of August 2018 that I have no signs of cancer in my body.” Losing 82 pounds and getting back to her high school size was an added bonus of Pettiway’s breast cancer journey.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Today Pettiway is basking in the glory of her entrepreneurial element with God, her Helper, leading the way. Nicole’s flourishing business and inspiring healing journey is fully supported by her loving husband Hermen, and their two adult children Kevin and Kirsten.

Having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix early in her career, Pettiway took the leap later in her career to become a Certified Functional Health Coach through the Institute for Functional Health Coaches.

GOD’S PLAN — As Pettiway discovered, God altered her career-related plans only to strategically reassign her to the world of entrepreneurship — which, as she found out, wasn’t a bad path after all.

As a long-time Portfolio Manager, she is also a certified Project Management Professional (or PMP) through the Project Management Institute and serves as a mentor for the We Build Character Leadership Program and for Detroit Cornerstone Schools.

“On my healing journey, I immersed myself in holistic medicine by reading books, articles, and journals, attending conferences, meeting with experts in the industry, and joining a number of holistic healing support groups,” said Pettiway, whose business venture accommodates health-conscious men and women.

“I started blogging about my journey to raise awareness that our bodies are magnificently designed and that we are capable of overcoming chronic illnesses through natural means.”

“God revealed my next assignment, which was to become the person I needed on my healing journey – a health coach,” Pettiway said. “I have a passion for both health and wellness and personal finance.”

It wasn’t long thereafter that The Health and Wealth Company was born.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Pettiway expresses her passion for helping others. “I love witnessing the transformation of my clients as they shift their mindset, unlearn the things that were hindering them, and propel forward on the road to vibrant health and financial freedom.”

“As a breast cancer survivor, I believe that people can overcome chronic illness and attain optimal health by learning the root causes and applying holistic and integrative solutions. As a person who was once drowning in debt and in bankruptcy, I believe that people can attain financial freedom by learning and applying what I call ‘the secrets of the wealthy.’”

Texas Evangelist Christi L. Henderson’s awe-inspiring book emerges as a stage play ‘Just as God said it would’

A MAKING HEADLINE NEWS EXCLUSIVE

DUNCANVILLE, Texas — We begin with a rather fascinating Biblical passage, one that, all things considered, is especially befitting for this feel good story involving Christi L. Henderson.

It goes something like this:

SHE TOLD Y’ALL — Having said time and again in recent months that her book would eventually become a play, Christi L. Henderson had ultimately joined forces with prominent playwright and fellow Evangelist, Elder Kasha Hunt of KO Productions, who emerged as the mastermind behind the hit play, Removal Of The Mask.

As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

A familiar, awe-inspiring passage that is housed in Romans 4:17, it is one that, much to Henderson’s delight, is appropriate for what undoubtedly is unfolding right before her very eyes.

“My mission is to give hope to those who feel there is no hope,” Henderson, 49, a Dallas/Fort Worth-area evangelist, told Making Headline News this week.

The Removal Of The Mask stage play will debut with two showings on May 19 at the historic W. E Scott Theatre, located at 3505 West Lancaster Avenue in nearby, Fort Worth. Show times are 2 and 7 pm CST.

The mission to which Henderson is alluding is the one about which God had strategically birthed in her through her informative, tear-jerking, spiritually gut-checking book entitled, “Unmasking The Pain: Overcoming The Spirit Of Rejection.”

A little more than seven months removed from the much-anticipated release of her book, Henderson not only called those things which be not as though they were but, to her credit, such a spiritual prophesy has come full circle, considering her exhilarative written document has been constructed into a stage play, one that figures to take the Body of Christ by storm.

Having said time and again in recent months that her book would eventually become a play, Henderson had ultimately joined forces with prominent playwright and fellow evangelist, Elder Kasha Hunt of KO Productions, who emerged as the mastermind behind the hit play, Removal Of The Mask.

THE FACE OF THE PLAY — Kasha Hunt is an Author, Playwright, Motivational and Conference Speaker, Award-Winning Radio Show Host and Evangelist.

Now we know why…we know why the above Biblical passage is especially befitting for this feel good story involving a woman whom, at the end of the real day, can greatly attest to what it’s like to weather arguably the darkest chapters of her life — with God, her Helper, leading the way.

The Removal Of The Mask stage play will debut with two showings on May 19 at the historic W. E Scott Theatre, located at 3505 West Lancaster Avenue in nearby Fort Worth.

Show times are 2 and 7 pm CST.

As expected, Henderson is extremely vivacious, considering that about which she had previously spoken into the atmosphere has suddenly come to fruition.

“(This play) will allow people to see that no matter what curveballs life has thrown at you, no matter if you’ve been rejected, hurt, abandoned, rape, molested, abused, etc., God is able to heal and deliver you and restore you back unto Him, and use our testimonies to let others know there’s hope in Jesus,” said Henderson, explaining the purpose for stage play, yet sounding very much like she’s giving a sermon.  “Sometimes it’s your testimony that saves someone else’s life.”

Let the church say Amen.

Errr, anyways, back to the story.

A little more than seven months removed from the much-anticipated release of her book, Henderson not only called those things which be not as though they were but, to her credit, such a spiritual prophesy has come full circle, considering her exhilarative written document has been constructed into a 13-cast-member stage play, one that figures to take the Body of Christ by storm.

While Removal Of The Mask depicts an assortment of Henderson’s personal experiences, she said the slew of messages she aspires to send to the masses are some whereby she hopes they will apply to their lives daily.

“The play is based on the book I wrote, which is my own personal testimony of my life…how I dealt with so many things in my life and walked around acting as if everything was alright so people wouldn’t know I had been raped, molested, rejected from my father at birth,” Henderson explained. “I went through a mentally abusive marriage and abandonment, which drove me to be in relationships with women.”

Still, despite the array of turmoil and downtrodden developments that, at times, had left Henderson questioning her very existence, what she had ultimately discovered is that no one could give her the kind of joy and wholeness to life the way God can.

All of which practically sums up why this stage play makes so much sense in this, the modern-day church era.

“What inspired me to turn the book into a play was I’ve always loved Tyler Perry plays, because most of his plays were based upon real events that happen in real life,” Henderson said. “When I would go see his plays, I always came out with hope and knew that there was hope in any situation and you can recover and move on from it.”

Interestingly, even upon the release of her book, Henderson recalled people often prophesying to her that a play would soon be forthcoming.

Look at God, showing off as only He could.

KEEPIN’ IT 100 — While Removal Of The Mask depicts an assortment of Henderson’s personal experiences, she said the slew of messages she aspires to send to the masses are some whereby she hopes they will apply to their lives daily.

“I was also prophesied to by many people that the book would become a play,” Henderson, an accomplished Texas businesswoman who is the CEO of Henderson’s Financial Consulting, said. “And as people started to read it, they would say the same thing and I prayed about it, and the Lord confirmed it to me and I reached out to KO Productions about my vision.”All of which practically sums up why this stage play makes so much sense in this, the modern-day era.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

It wasn’t too much long after the release of Henderson’s book that a stage play had broken out — broken out much like some much-needed praise break.

IN THAT GODLY ORDER — “I was also prophesied by many people that the book would become a play,” Henderson, an accomplished Texas businesswoman who is the CEO of Henderson’s Financial Consulting, said. “And as people started to read it, they would say the same thing and I prayed about it, and the Lord confirmed it to me and I reached out to KO Productions about my vision.”

“Kasha Hunt bought the book on Amazon,” Henderson recalled. “She read it and said we need to make this happen and she did.”

Now with the play’s debut just weeks away, Henderson has deemed it essential to call others things which be not as though they are.

Among those things: She’s expecting a massive turnout for both shows.

“I believe that when God brings us out of various situations, it gives you compassion for others who are going through what we went through,” said Henderson, who’s been active in ministry for more than 23 years. “I know how broken and hurt I was, so I want to bring hope to others who are hurting.”

All of which practically sums up why this stage play makes so much sense in this, the modern-day church era.

Accomplished Arkansas Minister Dr. Alandrus P. Spencer ‘Touching Lives’ through his book blanketed by encouragement

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. (1 Samuel 30:6 KJV)

Upon crossing paths with Dr. Alandrus P. Spencer, it wouldn’t take very long for anyone to discover that he’s armed with encouragement.

A whole lot of it, for the record.

HANDPICKED BY GOD — A proud Navy veteran and the Senior Pastor of Touching Lives Ministries, Inc. in nearby Blytheville, Arkansas, Dr. Alandrus P. Spencer is the mastermind behind the book entitled, Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment.

Consider, for instance, how Dr. Spencer, an accomplished Jonesboro, Arkansas-area minister, wasted little time taking to his Facebook page Saturday morning, during which he staged a brief post to — you guessed it — encourage the masses.

Said Dr. Spencer just before 10 a.m. CST in a thought-provoking catchphrase once uttered by Texas Empowerment Strategist Franco Charles: “What you fail to announce will be ignored.”

Out of fairness to Dr. Spencer, there is, by all accounts, a rather favorable reason why he deems it essential to encourage people mightily as often as he could.

For starters, he answered the divine call long ago when he became a spokesperson for Christ.

Secondly, he’s grasped a thorough concept of what it means to build up his spirit man, regardless of how challenging or bleak circumstances become in his life.

Thirdly and most importantly, he routinely encourages others because, well, God practically commands us to.

And so it came to pass that Dr. Spencer acted out of obedience unto God by composing an awe-inspiring book that — you guessed it again — figures to encourage people from various walks of life.

A proud Navy veteran and the Senior Pastor of Touching Lives Ministries, Inc. in nearby Blytheville, Arkansas, Spencer is the mastermind behind the book entitled, Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment.

BUY DR. ALANDRUS SPENCER’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Encouraging-Moment-Live-Life/dp/154344038X

A spiritually gut-checking and life-enhancing written document that is comprised of 90 pages, Dr. Spencer’s Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment officially hit the market on September 20, 2017, approximately two years after God had revealed to him the vision to write it.

Much to his delight, Dr. Spencer didn’t just write down the vision. He took it and ran with it.

Not only that, it is a foregone conclusion why he produced the book to begin with.

“I chose to write this book because I love to encourage others, and I felt I could give them these same quotes that challenged and encouraged me during some of life most challenging times,” Dr. Spencer said.

Interestingly, he appropriately used the familiar Biblical passage that is 1 Samuel 30:6 as the feature scripture from which his book was birthed.

“David encouraged himself,” Dr. Spencer said without hesitation.

Speaking of hesitation, given the passion with which Dr. Spencer speaks when promoting his book, it’s safe to assume that Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment was assembled without hesitation.

“The divine message is that God wants us to experience a healthy dose of encouragement whenever and wherever possible, and that we have the built-in capacity to encourage ourselves,” said Dr. Spencer, explaining the purpose for his new book.

As expected, the feedback since the release of Dr. Spencer’s book has been favorable.

Touching Lives Ministries Co-Pastor and First Lady Veronica L. Spencer

“The feedback has been tremendous,” Dr. Spencer said. “People mostly appreciate it. It’s not a wordy book. It’s simple but impactful and it challenges their faith while encouraging them to strive for better.”

All things considered, as it pertains to composing his book, exemplifying a sense of passion was extremely key, Dr. Spencer emphasized.

“God created me with the gift to have passion for and to encourage others,” he said. “And this book is a direct display of my heart toward people.”

A spiritually gut-checking and life-enhancing written document that is comprised of 90 pages, Dr. Spencer’s Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment officially hit the market on September 20, 2017, approximately two years after God had revealed to him the vision to write it.

While Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment is an ideal read for people who are lost spiritually and desire to return to Christ, Dr. Spencer acknowledged his book is especially prevalent for the modern-day church, where the spirit of discouragement has rid its ugly head unlike never before.

“The world as we know it is lacking strongly in the area of encouragement and, yes, even in the church,” Dr. Spencer said. “I believe if we can start to embrace and harness the energy of encouragement, we can make the world a better and a more promising place.”

After all, he’d be the first to tell you that, “What you fail to announce will be ignored.”

Surely, that goes for encouragement.

A whole lot of it, for the record.
