Philadelphia-area author composes spiritually-empowering book amid her father’s heartbreaking demise

And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever. (John 14:16 KJV)

GOD TO THE RESCUE

REMEMBER DAD — Keacha Lenette is the mastermind behind the spiritually-empowering written work entitled, “A Talk With My Dad,” a compelling and awe-inspiring project she began composing earlier this year.

After the sudden demise of her father, Keacha Lenette was in dire need of a comforter.

To the rescue: the Holy Spirit, just as God pledged He would.
“God gave me the vision to write this book in February 2019,” Lenette, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that led to her finding her niche in the world of authorship.
The book to which Lenette is alluding is spiritually-empowering written work entitled, “A Talk With My Dad,” a compelling and awe-inspiring project she began composing earlier this year.

As Lenette explained, her quest to assemble her new book began amid the recent death of her dad, whom obviously was one of the closest persons to this young and gifted Pennsylvania writer.

Pre-sale orders are effectively underway for Lenette’s “A Talk With My Dad.”

“I wanted to talk to him about the events occurring in my life,” said Lenette, explaining in great detail the notable vision for having composed her book. “Although, I could no longer have a conversation with my dad, I still had the ability to express myself and be heard.”

As for the single, most underlying reason for having written “A Talk With My Dad,” Lenette doesn’t shy away from the notion that her latest project has aided her mightily, particularly with regards to weathering these sometimes rocky road and moments of discomfort surrounding the death of a loved one.

“I chose to produce this book, because it offered a unique way in which a grieving adult child expressed sorrow toward the loss of a parent,” — Author Keacha Lenette

Interesting for this brilliantly crafty writer, she needed a few hours to complete a “A Talk With My Dad” book that has already generated a great deal of favorable feedback.

Chances are, such a trend won’t merely change, considering  Lenette is scheduled to host a book signing for her new project on  August 24 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. EST at Kia’s Cakes, located at 16 South Lansdowne Avenue in Lansdowne, during which she will officially release “A Talk With My Dad.”

SAVE THE DATE

An up-and-coming author, Lenette is a licensed practical nurse, who holds a  Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion (with a specialization in Psychology) from Liberty University.

Her passion includes —but isn’t limited to — helping others fulfill their God-given purpose. Interestingly, she’s currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree Human Services Counseling.

Arguably the biggest reason for having assembled “A Talk With My Dad” is that family is of “great value and significance,” Lenette acknowledged.

In her book, in the fact, she cites that as one of seven children, arguably her greatest accomplishment is being the mother to “three wonderful children): NiKeacha, Edward, and Preston.

As Lenette explained, her quest to assemble her new book began amid the recent death of her dad, whom obviously was one of the closest persons to this young and gifted Pennsylvania writer.

While she describes parenting as delightful, Lenette said the exuberance of being a grandmother to Natalie, Nathaniel, and Noah is unparalleled and that she is a natural nurturer, who’s widely known for exemplifying genuine love for people.

As for her immeasurable authorship gifts through the Upper Darby, Pennsylvania-based Glorious Works Publishing, Lenette announced that another book is presently in the works is scheduled to be released sometime in 2020.

STAY TUNED — As for her immeasurable authorship gifts through the Upper Darby, Pennsylvania-based Glorious Works Publishing, Lenette announced that another book is presently in the works is scheduled to be released sometime in 2020.

“I believe as part of my purpose, God created me to be expressive and relatable,” said Lenette, while referencing and reciting the familiar Biblical passage that is 1 Corinthians 9:22. “I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.”

Without question, she has God to thank, most notably for His Gift of the Holy Spirit.

Pittsburgh’s Heather Lyn overcomes soft drink addiction, establishes a credible health and wellness venture

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES HEATHER LYN

Heather Lyn would be the first to admit that she’s had her share of obstacles.

Still, she’d be the first admit that never did she allow them to deter her from living her best life.

“I’ve spent most of life sick,” Heather Lyn told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Oftentimes, things would happen to me that even the doctors couldn’t explain, yet understand.”

Diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, as well as an assortment of what she described as “physical incapabilities,” Heather Lyn recalled like yesterday how these seemingly insurmountable hurdles had eventually given way to gaining a considerable amount of weight or, as she tells it, the “heaviest I ever was.”

“No matter what I tried, nothing would take even one pound off of me,” Heather Lyn recalled. “I had a strong addiction to Diet Pepsi, an addiction that could not be broken.”

For Heather Lyn, a native of Pittsburgh, even a host of family members and close acquaintances couldn’t help lure her away from a soft drink obsession that contributed mightily to her unsatisfactory weight increase.

Then suddenly, something rather intriguing happened, something that had ultimately changed the overall landscape of her life.

“One day while talking to a friend on the West Coast, she introduced me to a product that I just had to learn more about,” Heather Lyn explained. “I told her if it’s really that good, I had to have it.”

For Heather Lyn, not only was the weight loss product “really that good,” but much to her delight, it has benefited her mightily.

Now today, Heather Lyn has emerged as progressive, thriving businesswoman, whereby she customarily encourages others to elevate their health, wealth, and happiness.

“I instantly jumped on the website and placed my order,” Heather Lyn said some health and wellness products for which she’s aiming to garner some favorable leads. “I could not wait to get this product into my hands.”

And now that this health-empowering product has altered her life for all the reasons, she’s now on a quest to help others reap and savor similar results.

“On a bright and sunny Saturday morning, I drove down to the local gas station to get my 52 ounce Diet Pepsi. I felt like I needed the jolt to get my day started,” Heather recalled. “When I returned home, the UPS driver delivered my package that I was anxiously awaiting for.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

“I ripped that box opened, and I followed the instructions to get this product into my system,” Heather Lyn said. “I was busy, preparing for our upcoming move and I really wasn’t thinking of anything else. Later in the day, it dawned on me how many cups of water I drank that day, while my Diet Pepsi sat idle…how many boxes I had packed, how much progress I made.”

Now that she’s fervently adopted a new lease on life through her globally-acclaimed health and wellness products, she’d be remiss if she did not encourage others to follow suit.

“For the first time in 30-plus years, I felt amazing,” Heather Lyn said in wonderment. “Knowing what this product did for me in such a short time, I knew that I could not keep this from anyone. I had to share it with everyone I knew.”

So much for Diet Pepsi.

“We all have a gift,” Heather Lyn said of a flourishing business venture she established earlier this year. “We were put on this earth with a mission. My mission is to help others elevate their health, wealth, and happiness.”

To her credit, she’s doing just that.

Saint Augustine, Florida-area Pastor Lonnie Bauer of The Torch Church: ‘I’ve come too far to go backwards’

WE ARE FAMILY — Raised in a Christian-oriented environment to James Robert and Yvonne Jane Palmer, Florida-based Psstor Lonnie Bauer is one of nine children, all of whom witnessed and the importance of being responsible and maximizing their potential, considering her father owned a well-established company called, Fombell Fabricating.  Interesting enough, Bauer’s identical twin sister, Lori, is whom she deemed arguably one of her grandest supporters, a trend that has only strengthen now that she has graciously accepted her calling to lead the people of God.

Within the first few minutes of conversing with Lonnie Bauer, it would become increasingly easy to admire and figuratively embrace her.

Admire her for signature smile.

Admire her for her overall disposition on life.

Admire the way this big-hearted woman speaks of her beloved family and how she steadfastly goes above and beyond to esteem others highly than herself.

Most importantly, it is, by all accounts, a foregone conclusion that one would easily become drawn to admire Bauer, in large part because her reputation is such that she’s destined to live and dwell on the larger side of God.

STANDING STRONG FOR CHRIST — A proud native of the rural Pennsylvania town of Fombell — which is approximately 40 minutes North of Pittsburgh — Bauer is the Senior Pastor of The historic Torch Church that is based in Saint Augustine, Florida.

“I was born in 1963 and I am now 54 years of age, but feel younger and stronger,” Bauer told Making Headline News this week.

To grasp a thorough understanding of why Bauer feels “younger and stronger,” look no further than how she diligently journeys through life, observing it from God’s perspective.

A non-denominational church that is located in the heart of Palencia, a popular establishment in Saint Augustine, Bauer’s congregation meets regularly for worship at nearby Palencia Elementary School, located at 355 Palencia Village Drive.

For Bauer, whose notable pastoral tenure is such that she’s overwhelmingly passionate about ministry, she sensed all along that God was strategically positioning and equipping her to lead His sheep, considering the assortment of key values instilled in her by parents were comprised mostly of being consistent, coupled with hard work and, above all, demonstrating a loving, close-knit relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

“And (we were taught to) keep family close,” Bauer explained. “My dad taught us to win in life and that you have to work hard and you have to dream big. He was a dreamer and he thought big.”

CLINGING TO UNWAVERING FAITH — For Bauer, pastoral tenure is such that she’s overwhelmingly passionate about ministry, she sensed all along that God was strategically positioning and equipping her to lead His sheep, considering the assortment of key values my parents taught were comprised mostly of being consistent, coupled with hard work and, above all, demonstrate a loving, close-knit relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

All of which practically sums us why this progressive, thriving woman of the cloth has greatly become the hard worker and big dreamer for which she has become widely known throughout the Body of Christ.

For what it’s worth, while Bauer’s upbringing was center mostly on church and a whole lot of it, her keen knowledge, wisdom and perseverance for leading God’s people were discovered years ago when she delved off into entrepreneurship as a successful salon owner.

“I started to ministry when I opened up a hair salon and was praying and ministering to clients and was not even aware of it at the time,” Bauer recalled.

CREATED TO LEAD GOD’S PEOPLE — For what it’s worth, while Bauer’s upbringing was center mostly on church and a whole lot of it, her keen knowledge for leading God’s people was discovered years ago when she delved off into entrepreneurship as a salon owner.

Never mind that she admittedly wasn’t filled with the Holy Ghost while running what undoubtedly was a booming business. All she knew at the time, really, was that she had a relationship with Jesus.

Which, of course, looking back on it all, that was sufficient enough evidence that this young, Godly woman was destined to accomplish great and mighty things in the kingdom, all while fortifying unyielding agape love in the process.

“I was not filled with the spirit at that time, but I loved Jesus and would speak about Him throughout my day,” Bauer said. “I had a very successful business for 15 years.”

Consequently, at the tender age of 22, Bauer crossed paths with Cameron Bauer, whom God strategically handpicked for her as a lifelong companion — this after the couple has courted for seven years.

Like most married couples, Bauer and her husband endured their share of challenges and obstacles and, consequently, the enemy attempted time and again to attack her body and send her to premature death.

Still, through it all, God had other immeasurable ideas tailored made exclusively for Bauer, His beloved Woman Servant whom He had strategically set aside for His use.

Despite her faith having been tried and tested in ways unimaginable, Bauer was determined to hold fast the profession of her faith without wavering.

“I’ve had many up and downs, although I’ve impacted many lives for the kingdom,” Bauer said. “I knew the enemy wasn’t liking this at all. I fell so short in being called to pastor as I started to put ministry first and forgot my family along the way, even though they were involved.”

‘CA– USE I’M HAPPY — With her faith being tried and tested in ways unimaginable, Bauer was determined to hold fast the profession of her faith without wavering.

Having weathered arguably what seemed to be the darkest hours of her life and pastoral tenure — which seemed at a crossroads at one point in time — today, unlike never before, Bauer’s faith walk is stronger, in large part because she diligently stuck with God.

Even when it seemed she couldn’t trace Him.

“So here I am, seven-and-a-half-years later with an awesome team of committed saints who are also called by the Lord for such a time as this,” Bauer said. “I would not be where I am if it was not for John and Linda Sailer, who stood with me when no else would, I never want to go back to that place, but I can look back to see how far I have come and, Wow! I’ve come too far to go backwards.”

Talk about a spiritual victory speech for the ages.

Philadelphia-area businesswoman/author Ramona Gaines boldly declares “I’m loving the skin I’m in”

Just recently, Ramona Gaines had finally come clean, had finally broke her silence — well, presuming she had actually kept it a secret.

During a recent interview with Making Headlines News, Gaines, a longtime Philadelphia-area businesswoman, admitted that for years she had clung to lofty aspirations of someday becoming the next Oprah Winfrey.

Ummm, yes, that Oprah Winfrey.

You know, that renowned American media proprietor and talk show host and accomplished actress and producer, not to mention that internationally-acclaimed philanthropist who is widely known for her popular talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated television program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011 in Chicago.

Ahhhh…Oprah Winfrey.

How bout that.

Okay. Now back to reality.

While Gaines, a Philly-area pastor, visionary, and accomplished author, had dreamt of sometime of emerging as the next Queen Of The Media, a title that Winfrey currently owns, there is one unique person whom she knows full well she doesn’t have to envision being like.

That person is non-other-than Ramona Gaines.

In that order.

For real though.

Run tell that.

You go girl.

Ummm, as she was saying…

“Once upon a time, when I was growing up, I wanted to be Oprah until I got to know Ramona and realized how cool she is,” Gaines said with a straight face. “Love the skin that you are in.”

Some pretty pivotal, clever advice from a pretty brilliantly resourceful woman of devout faith, who is widely known also as the Founder and CEO of Movement Is Medicine, Parent Kids Network, and Philly’s Styllwaters’ Café.

So what else is there to know about Gaines?

Here are a few more fun facts, as shared by her in her very own words.

I love to sing and very loudly but cannot hold a tune at all, even if you put it in a bucket for me.

I still remember the day I went to look for my Big Wheel and it was gone.  (Can we please have a moment of silence for “Red”)

My favorite childhood book was “There Is a Monster at the End of This Book Starring Loveable Furry Old Grover”

My favorite authors are Mildred D. Taylor and Kimberla Lawson Roby

Family and legacy are very important to me.

While watching Maya Angelou recite her poem at President Clinton’s Inauguration, my Grandmother turned to me and said, “I want you to be like her”. I was so intimidated by those words until I read Maya’s story.  I became less intimated and more comfortable in my own skin. The lesson I learned was that everyone has their own journey to get to God’s expected end for their lives.

Ha! What do you think of that Oprah?
