Tampa businesswoman Jenelle Harris’ She EXIST organization steadily attracting more of a national presence

EXISTING WITH A PURPOSE

MISSION UNFOLDING — A Tampa, Florida-based mental health and business corporation, Jenelle Harris’ She EXIST’s mission is centered largely on ministering on what Harris refers to as “The Power of Her Testimony.”

DALLAS — Jenelle Harris would be the first to admit that she undoubtedly has a heart for women of various walks of life.

So much, in fact, that she’s established a notable platform that is centered largely on helping women to discover the best version of themselves.

“(I love) being able to provide a platform for other women’s accomplishment, partnering with other leaders and sharing some amazing testimonies and challenges in life,” Harris told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “And with doing this, we will be able to create a team that will help others with their goals. I love being a leader, because it also shares the values of authenticity and soul living.”

To her credit, Harris’ keen leadership skills have been put in display, particularly through her She EXIST organization.

A Tampa, Florida-based mental health and business corporation, She EXIST’s mission is centered largely on ministering on what Harris refers to as “The Power of Her Testimony.”

As Harris eloquently explains, there are a variety of reasons for creating an organization that is starting to attract more of a national presence.

Harris is also is the mastermind behind newly-produced CD entitled, “She EXIST,” a project she co-produced with Moses The Mantra and is powered by BlackPeri LLC.

“I think it is important to be an asset to your community, your society, and the work place,” said Harris, when asked why it is imperative to esteem others highly than herself. “I think teaching and educating positivity is always needed. We’ve heard the saying, ‘It takes a village to raise kids and it will take a team to build teams.’”

Much Harris’ to delight, her organization is steadily expanding, meaning it’s safe to assume that She EXIST’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

“(It) continues to grow, as those who are broken find a sense of peace while healing and telling their story,” Harris said.

CHECK OUT JENELLE’S CD

Interestingly, Harris’ She EXIST is designed specifically as a speaking platform, of sorts, most notably for women to share their stories with other women or, as she acknowledges, “to encourage and uplift those who are broken and have given up on life.”

“Throughout these sessions, you can feel the positive vibes and energy from the women who present telling the story,” Harris said.

What’s even more astounding for Harris — an accomplished marketing consulting and motivational speaker — is that her credible organization will be hosting what is known as the “Expanding Your Territory” event on June 22 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Powered by She EXIST, this nationally-acclaimed networking conference will take place at the Raleigh Elks Lodge No. 735, located at 5538 Lead Mine Road.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at https://sheexist.org/.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, Harris is an accomplished author, who has been featured in the book entitled, “Diamonds In The Rough: A Woman’s Guide To Living An Empowered Life.”

A book that’s written by Charmaine Powell, “Diamonds In The Rough: A Woman’s Guide To Living An Empowered Life” will be available soon at Amazon.com.

As for She EXIST, Harris’ organization accommodates mostly individuals and groups ranging in ages 16 to 75.

“The tool that I have is for everyone and this is the authenticity that I admire,” Harris said. “Everyone needs leadership and everyone needs empowerment, spiritual awareness, and spirituality intelligence.

“My goal is to inspire everyone with connecting to their inner selves, because oftentimes, we are connecting to a bill, to a toxic relationship, or to a bad environment,” Harris continued, adding that arguably her greatest inspirations are globally-acclaimed ministers Sheryl Brady, Bishop T. D. Jakes, and Bishop Duncan Williams, as well as her beloved grandmother. “When you begin to live from your soul daily, you will begin to detach from negativity and start to condition your mind with what makes sense. Your visibility will be clear your reaction will be a sense of action to make a change.”

Besides her upcoming event in June, Harris — whose work-related experience spans more than 17 years — is scheduled to appear on “I Am Enough” talk show that’s hosted by Wanda D. Hollis April 21. In addition, she will be featured in the April issue of Maline Pride’s Black Wall Street magazine.

“I started as a young girl at the age of 17, working as a HHA, helping elders in their homes…one-one-one care, and that inspired me to do more and to be more,” Harris said. “I was also working as a security guard, doing a grave yard shift in the projects in Harlem with no reservations going back to a city called Brooklyn.”

And the rest, as they say, was history.

Look at her today, walking fervently in her purpose, functioning mightily in her element.

With God, her Helper, leading the way.

“Where I previously trained and lost my weight on my journey, the owner told me that I would not be able to succeed without her, and that empowered me to prove not only to her, but to myself that God has set this journey for me, and the only person that will hold me back will be myself,” said Chiarenza, who officially became a Naturopathic Health Coach Life Coach graduate this year. “Seven years later not, only am I succeeding, I am also inspiring others to see their inner pearl of greatness.”

“(I love) seeing the success of my clients on their health journey,” Chiarenza said. “Knowing I am inspiring them and helping them to live longer means they are enjoying their successes and will be able to do so longer.”

Talk about running diligently with the vision — and mission, of course — to which God strategically introduced her.

“My mission is to empower our young adults to begin a healthier lifestyle at an early age and to begin working on their vision, so they do not have to wait when older to achieve their goals and our other clients to see that vision within their inner oyster and inspire them to see it as a beautiful pearl of greatness,” said Chiarenza, who business venture accommodates individuals ranging in ages 14 to 65.

“Growing up, I was very shy and was picked on, because of my looks, last name, and shyness,” Chiarenza said. “In addition, because of a childhood, tragedy it is important to me to touch my clients’ inner core and encourage them to find their strength to achieve their life and health goals.

“I have seen women leave abusive relationships, close and start businesses, and become mentors to others, because of my coaching or attending a retreat I have hosted.”

That’s because she’s widely known as a thriving, progressive, resourceful businesswoman, who didn’t just discover and wrote down her life-enhancing vision some seven years ago.

COACH ENTREPRENEUR — A native of St Petersburg, Florida who boasts a solid career as a registered nurse, Michelle Greene Rhodes is the mastermind by an immeasurable coaching business, which allows her to inspire and empower nurses into entrepreneurship.

“(I want) to see more nurses fulfilled by their purpose,” Rhodes, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining her mission that has benefited her mightily as a thriving, progressive businesswoman.

MAJOR CAREER MILESTONE — In May 2018, Rhodes witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology.”

For Rhodes, who currently resides in Tampa, her well-publicized track record as an RN has been nothing short of remarkable.

That’s because aside from customarily caring for and tending to those who are in dire need of medical help, Rhodes can be appropriately deemed a woman of many hats, considering she is a gifted author and public speaker.

In May 2018, Rhodes witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology.”

Comprised of 220 pages, Rhodes’ “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology” is centered mostly on the spiritually-enhancing subject that is victory, most notably how victory has been commonly defined as what she describes as the overcoming of an enemy or antagonist.

“In life, many of us have had to triumph over trials and tribulations to meet a particular goal in life,” said a spokesperson for Rhodes recently-released book at Amazon.com. “Those who do not allow hardships to defeat them have been known as overcomers. When it comes to becoming a nurse or enduring a nursing career, it is known that the schooling is rigorous, the work is tough, the shifts are long and there are some nights that we cannot sleep due to thinking about the shift before. This anthology was created to inspire women, nurses and future nurses to not give up when hard times come. You see, after the rain comes the sunshine.”

A pretty empowering synopsis of a scintillating written document that will be on display when Rhodes hosts her fourth book signing, this time on Saturday, October 20 at a Tampa-area Barnes And Noble.

“We’ll also be launching my 2nd Annual Nurses Book Drop, (during which) I (introduce) 10 nurses as authors,” Rhodes said. “Last year’s event was a huge success.”

A coaching business that went into full operations in November 2016, Rhodes emphasized, among other things, that her sustained success has come to fruition, courtesy of her fervent desire to esteem and inspire others daily.

“Having stayed the course and achieved my own dreams, I find joy in helping others attain theirs as well.” — Michelle Greene Rhodes

A business venture that mostly accommodates women ranging in ages 28 to 48, Rhodes has been afforded the golden opportunity to put her work-related gifts on display in a variety of places, even as far as in the Bahamas.

Interestingly, in May 2019, she will be empowering women in Paris, France along with internationally-acclaimed speaker, Cheryl Wood.

“Having stayed the course and achieved my own dreams, I find joy in helping others attain theirs as well,” Rhodes said.

Now we know why she’s fully aware of the purpose for which God has created her.

MAKING GLOBAL NOISE — An internationally-acclaimed entrepreneur in her own right, Sabrina Dennard is the Founder and chief executive officer of Dennard Agency Empowerment Group, LLC, a globally-oriented venture whereby she is the afforded the luxury of functioning primarily as an International Empowerment Speaker, Author, Philanthropist, and a Spoken Word Artist.

What is especially intriguing is that Dennard, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a U.S. Army Veteran Staff Sergeant, Florida, oversees the day-to-day operations of her business outside of the United States, most notably from Baghdad, Iraq, where she’s resided for the past two years.

That, after all, is amongst the reasons Dennard is thoroughly committed to having a global impact as a progressive and thriving businesswoman.

“(My business is centered on) creating an outlet to true freedom for women, men children of all nations regardless of race, color, creed, faith, or religion through words and thought transformation,” Dennard said. “There are so many supposed ways out there to obtaining desires, dreams, and goals, but none of them are truly telling the secret to success. They get us to a point and that’s it. I actually have the proven method to achieving it all.”

IMPRESSIVE INDEED — What is especially intriguing is that Dennard, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a U.S. Army Veteran Staff Sergeant, Florida, oversees the day-to-day operations of her business outside of the United States, most notably from Baghdad, Iraq, where she’s resided for the past two years.

For Dennard, she doesn’t shy away from the notion that such a proven method has surfaced with a cost.

“Continued failure, hurt, pain, my desire to see my parents’ and children’s dreams come true was and still is my drive,” said Dennard, explaining how her competitive drive in life has fueled her desire to jumpstart her endeavor. “To see so many nations in turmoil because of limited access to reach and achieve their dreams is my drive. My passion for people is my constant drive.”

As for her personal mission for functioning in the God-mandated calling, Dennard emphasized that what it all boils down to is achieving her lifelong dreams, coupled with her fervent ambition that is centered on continuing to be what she calls “an iconic light to open not only my eyes to see the invisible power, but others as well,” she says without hesitation.

An endeavor that caters mostly to individuals ranging in ages five years to  90 — “and up,” she said — Dennard’s empowerment group has allowed her to put her immeasurable leadership skills on display in a variety of establishments around the global, most notably in Iraq, where she’s presently under contract, which has enabled her to be what she deems a “constant encouragement” to the U.S. military soldiers during their deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Poland, Kuwait.

“I have been requested to travel to London,” said Dennard, alluding to her immeasurable body of work and contributions as a military veteran. “I have worked and still work with many people from many backgrounds. Never a dull moment and I love it.”

As for the sustained success through her business venture, Dennard would be remiss if she did not give credit to her late father, Artist Ernest Dennard Sr., who was once commissioned by former President Jimmy Carter to embellish the walls of The Rural Georgia Telephone Museum with a mural of his art in Plains, Georgia.  Also, her mother, Etheron Dennard, as well as her grandmother, Theron Tolbert-Jones, has had massive impacts on helping her dreams to become a reality.

A globally-acclaimed reality, that is.

“They always believed I would do great things in this world,” Dennard said of those who make up her solid support system. “I would say the people in power positions I admire are Condoleezza Rice, Francis Berwick, Ana Botin, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce Carter, Warren Buffett, Harriet Tubman, Michelle and Barack Obama.”

UK BOUND? “I have been requested to travel to London,” said Dennard, alluding to her immeasurable body of work and contributions as a military veteran. “I have worked and still work with many people from many backgrounds. Never a dull moment and I love it.”

Armed with more than a decade of experience in this ever-so-competitive empowerment industry, Dennard has grasped a thorough concept of why God has strategically chosen her to empower the massive for such a time as now.

“That is the reason we are all here,” said Dennard, adding that she’s presently working on producing a short film (called “Evening Street”) for her awe-inspiring book entitled, “Extra, Extra Read All About It: Evening Street, The Beginning.”

“The universe is one tied to multiverses…a tree in which we all are branches, extending in different directions, but we all represent the beauty of this tree in various faiths, beliefs, and opinions. We can and should embrace and empower each other.”

Something by which she’s executes daily.

All around the globe.

Florida author Janice Harris overcomes Sarcoma Cancer, writes an emotionally life-changing book

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES JANICE HARRIS

During Janice Harris’ undergraduate days at the University of South Florida in Tampa, she strongly considered — and studied — journalism, although she had ultimately earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication.

Given the immeasurable strides she’s made as a writer in recent years, it’s safe to assume that Harris is, in some aspects, is a journalist in her own right.

PRAYER ANSWERED — Even while weathering the dreaded storm that is cancer, Floridian Janice Harris had become engaged in a rather intriguing dialogue with her Creator, one that eventually gave way to her becoming the mastermind behind the life-changing book entitled, “Through the Fire: A Miraculous Journey.”

That’s because Harris — even while pressing and navigating her way through arguably the darkest hours of her life — had steadfastly obeyed the voice of God by composing a book that is presently having a massive kingdom impact.

“I was recuperating from Sarcoma cancer, after having gone through chemo, two types of radiation, and a major surgery to remove the tumor,” an emotional Harris told Making Headline News this week.

The hard copy of Harris’ book debuted February 24. The book recently became available on Kindle, a version that is comprised of 196 pages.

PURCHASE JANICE HARRIS’ BOOK HERE:

A retiree of the State of Florida who is a seasoned minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Harris’ “Through the Fire: A Miraculous Journey” is highlighted large by her telling her story of what she dubs as a “survival,” or the miracle she had ultimately received.

Interestingly, she then gives inspiration to anyone dealing with what she appropriately describes as life’s most difficult trials and circumstances. In addition, Harris takes her reading audience through her turbulent journey that is comprised of an array of emotions and struggles, one that shows how she was determined to depend on her faith in God to bring her through it.

WOMAN THOU ART LOOSE — Fortunately for Harris, a native of Jacksonville, even as she battled her dreaded disease, it seemed that God was already moving on her behalf, thus preparing for her a way of escape.

“Many people give up while facing tough situations,” said a spokesperson for Harris’ book at Amazon.com. “Others who struggle to find answers as to why they are going through become bitter and angry at God and at life itself. In this story, you will be inspired to hold on despite what you are going through.”

Fortunately for Harris, a native of Leesburg, Florida, even as she battled her dreaded disease, it seemed that God was already moving on her behalf, thus preparing for her a way of escape.

“I heard in my spirit to write my experience down in a book, and then I saw a quick picture flash before my face of what the cover should look like and the title,” said Harris, explaining the vision that was revealed to her while battling cancer. “I did not keep pictures or notes during my bout with cancer, so I had to remember everything I went through. Because it was a crucial journey, I could remember everything vividly.”

THE GALATIANS 6:9 FACTOR — A retiree of the State of Florida who is a seasoned minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Harris’ “Through the Fire: A Miraculous Journey” is highlighted large by her telling her story of what she dubs as a “survival,” or the miracle she had ultimately received.

A book she essentially began composing sometime in 2012, Harris had finally finished her initial written document in February of this year.

“It is a short book, but I tried to put as many details as I could,” Harris said.

To her credit, she did just that, considering the feedback since her book’s ceremonious release have been overwhelmingly favorable.

“I have received good feedback mainly from family and friends who have read the book thus far,” Harris said. “Due to a local move and other projects going on around the time that I published my book until now, I have not done any major promotion. The few written reviews on Amazon thus far are good. I am just getting around to doing a Kindle e-book this week, and expect more traffic on the book. I am also still hoping to do a book signing in the near future, even though my book has been out since late February.”

Despite a recent relocation and other things about which Harris has had to address, what matters at this point is that her new book is finally where it belongs: on the market.

Which, as a result, means its best and brightest days are well ahead of it.

“I have always believed God has a great purpose and plan for my life,” said Harris, adding that other books are forthcoming, most notably one on poetry in memory of her mother, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 88. “I have always been a leader and an encourager. I love to help and encourage others. I do so daily whether it is simply on my Facebook page, at church from the pulpit, in the store, or anywhere else that I go. I am a witness for Jesus Christ and it is definitely a desire given by my Creator. I feel that I have also been given the gift to write, and I want to do more of that.”

While Harris labels her new book as “just a portion of my story,” amongst the things about which she deems gratifying is that God strategically handpicked her to produce such a remarkably brilliant project for such a time as now.

IT IS FINISHED — A book she essentially began composing sometime in 2012, Harris had finally finished her initial written document in February of this year.

“When I found a small bump on my right femur around the hamstring area in December 2011, I had no idea what that would lead to,” Harris said.

What’s especially astounding about that seemingly discouraging day in December 2011 was that God all along had a miraculously blessing with her name on it.

A blessing that came wrapped up in a book that is having a massive kingdom impact.

Tampa, Florida-area businesswoman Kia A. Wells steadily walking her purpose as she prepares for her annual Business Showcase

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)

Say this about accomplished businesswoman Kia A. Wells.

Surely, her labor isn’t merely in vain.

ATTRACTING NATIONAL HEADLINES — During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Tampa-area businesswoman Kia A. Wells expressed excitement about her Second Annual Men And Women In Business Showcase that will take place on July 21 at the Fort Harrison Hotel in nearby Clearwater, Florida. Labeled a pageant style event for small business owners, Wells’ Men And Women In Business Showcase will be comprised of a number of contestants, all of whom will receive business coaching, business training, and business workshops, among other business-related perks.

How else to explain why she found herself basking in the glory of the moment Tuesday afternoon?

“Yes! You have me in tears. I feel like a celebrity,” Wells said during an interview with Making Headline News from.

To grasp a thorough concept of why Wells was suddenly overcome by emotions in the middle of her workday, look no further than the immeasurable strides she’s made through the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship in recent years.

For starters, Wells’ reputation is such that she customarily exemplifies having a heart for young entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly as it pertains to helping them broaden their horizon, thus maximize their potential.

Add to the fact that she has become thoroughly committed to helping this generation of entrepreneurs strategically step outside of their comfort zone in ways unimaginable, and it’s no wonder many would agree that her labor undoubtedly isn’t in vain.

“I was inspired to create a different type of event for small business owners due to my previous lack of confidence in becoming a business owner,” Wells said.

The event to which Wells is alluding is her Second Annual Men And Women In Business Showcase that will take place on July 21 at the historic Fort Harrison Hotel, located at 210 Ft. Harrison Avenue in nearby Clearwater, Florida.

Labeled a pageant style event for small business owners, Wells’ Men And Women In Business Showcase will be comprised of a number of contestants, all of whom will receive business coaching, business training, and business workshops, among other business-related perks.

Along with their training, contestants will be afforded the opportunity to compete in what showcase organizers have dubbed “a friendly competition.”

This showcase, in fact, is broken down in three segments and, according to a spokesperson for this event, each participant will have three minutes during the initial segment to “wow the audience and judges” by showcasing their respective business on stage.

The second segment will be centered on business-oriented attire, during which contestants will share before the masses their mission and vision statements.

“The business attire is an opportunity for each contestant to demonstrate a professional image if they are attending a business luncheon or if they are meeting an investor at the bank,” Wells said.

And then there is the final segment, which is has been famously labeled the Fortune 100 Ball.

During the segment, contestants will have the golden opportunity to demonstrate as business owners their favorable and most appealing images, particularly if they are attending a gala or an awards banquet, of some sort, Wells acknowledged.

“The purpose is to equip, train, and educate small business owners by offering a fun, but educational event for them to be inspired to move forward in their business endeavors,” Wells, a Tampa-area Leadership and Communications Trainer, said of an event she hopes will attract a sizable crowd.

TURNING HEADS — Wells’ Showcase is broken down in three segments and, according to a spokesperson for this event, each participant will have three minutes to “wow the audience and judges” by showcasing their respective business on stage.

Interestingly, attendees to this year’s showcase will be allowed to shop and engage in business with various local vendors, will have at their disposal an unlimited gourmet meal, valet parking and, as Wells, the mastermind behind the event has emphasized in recent weeks, they will witness “an awesome show.”

That’s not all.

“This event will impact the community by inspiring them to either start their own business or receive training to improve their current businesses,” said Wells, whose showcase was only comprised of women contestants last year.

What’s evening more astounding is that following the July showcase, Wells and her staff we will be launching a similar event for youth entrepreneurs, which will be erected as a similar setup as the forthcoming one for adults.

Talk about pressing and navigating her way through arguably the toughest of entrepreneurship barriers and obstacles.

“I felt it was too hard or impossible,” Wells, a Jacksonville, Florida native, said of having birthed her vision to establish her community-based showcase, one she hopes will garner a national presence in the foreseeable future. “Sometimes we have a variety of resources, but when you’re in your beginning stages of business, you have no idea where to start. The showcase is designed to provide a more simple strategy to assist business owners more one-on-one and to also provide a fun outlet that is designed to assist them moving forward.”

All the while this progressive and resourceful businesswoman continues to bask in the glory of the moment.

Houston businesswoman Kimberly Barrow impacting lives, fulfilling her long-awaited dream as owner of medical clinic

WALKING IN HER PURPOSE — At the tender age of 32, Kimberly Barrow is owner and chief executive officer of Kimberly Cares, LLC — a Houston-based family health clinic that was created by following her stint as a registered nurse that spanned nearly a decade. Located at 5751 Blythewood Suite, 700 in Houston, Kimberly Cares’ primary mission is geared largely toward assisting families without adequate access to affordable health care.

DALLAS — As the old catchphrase goes, “They do things big in Texas.”

Even as a native Floridian, accomplished 32-year-old medical professional Kimberly Barrow, MSN, APRN, NP-C has embrace this notion wholeheartedly.

“I was driven by a need to fill the void in our communities by creating a care model that is more personal and affordable,” Barrow, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said while explaining her competitive drive for delving off in the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship. “I like the autonomy I have as a solo provider.”

The independence to which Barrow is alluding is her well-established business as owner and chief executive officer of Kimberly Cares, LLC, a Houston-based family health clinic that was created following her notable stint as a registered nurse, a tenure that spanned nearly a decade.

Located at 5751 Blythewood Suite, 700 in Houston, Kimberly Cares’ primary mission is geared largely toward assisting families without adequate access to affordable health care.

“For many, it is the difference between groceries or a $150 clinic visit,” said a spokesperson for Kimberly Cares, LLC under a detailed description of Barrow’s newly-established clinic at http://www.kcaresmore.com.

THIS IS WHERE IT’S HAPPENING — “For many, it is the difference between groceries or a $150 clinic visit,” said a spokesperson for Kimberly Cares, LLC under a detailed description of her business at http://www.kcaresmore.com.

Which, as a result, essentially sums up why Barrow has emphasized that her target patient populations are uninsured children and adults, college students, and small business owners, just to name a few.

“I am not consumed by the financial politics or motivations of corporate medicine,” said Barrow, who is credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program and is a member of several other professional organizations. “Instead, I am able to provide access to basic health services at a rate that most everyone can afford, which has a direct impact on the welfare and quality of life for the people in my community.”

WHAT ABOUT KIMBERLY CARES? www.kcaresmore.com

To her uniquely distinct credit, Barrow certainly boasts the credentials and educational mechanics to function and dwell in the divine purpose for which God has created her.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Barrow earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from The University of Central Florida. Consequently, she advanced her education by earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health and Science Center in Houston — further proving why they do things big in Texas.

SHE CALLED IT — “I (had) always planned to have my own practice,” said Barrow, when asked who inspired her to enter entrepreneurship through her area of study. “I grew up in a single parent household with four siblings and very limited resources.”

“I (had) always planned to have my own practice,” said Barrow, when asked who inspired her to enter entrepreneurship through her selected area of study. “I grew up in a single parent household with four siblings and very limited resources.”

As it turned out, it seemed that was the motivation she needed to diligently working toward making her dream a reality.

To her credit, Barrow has assumed the business owner label for a little more than eight months. And given the immense strides she’s made since opening her very own medical practice, it’s safe to assume that Kimberly Cares, LLC’s best and brightest days are well of ahead of it.

“We didn’t have health insurance because of the cost,” Barrow said of her upbringing. “Also, as fairly new RN, I found myself in a situation where I was expecting a baby without health coverage or the ability to qualify for private health plan. It was a struggle to the say the least, but I had a mother that was business savvy and always focused on being self-sufficient, so that’s where I was first exposed to the importance of business ownership.”

The rest, as they say, was history.

“Adequate representation, especially for the youth in our community is essential,” said Barrow, explaining why it is essential to esteem others daily through her business venture and purpose. “I have a non-traditional appearance as far as corporate America and this American culture in general is concerned. I need other young, minority women to know that they too can own no matter how society perceives us a people.

“If we can own more businesses and begin to re-invest and create jobs in our communities, we can become our own solution to many of the problems that plague our communities.”

Remarkably and well stated.

Talk about doing things big in Texas.

Saint Augustine, Florida-area Pastor Lonnie Bauer of The Torch Church: ‘I’ve come too far to go backwards’

WE ARE FAMILY — Raised in a Christian-oriented environment to James Robert and Yvonne Jane Palmer, Florida-based Psstor Lonnie Bauer is one of nine children, all of whom witnessed and the importance of being responsible and maximizing their potential, considering her father owned a well-established company called, Fombell Fabricating.  Interesting enough, Bauer’s identical twin sister, Lori, is whom she deemed arguably one of her grandest supporters, a trend that has only strengthen now that she has graciously accepted her calling to lead the people of God.

Within the first few minutes of conversing with Lonnie Bauer, it would become increasingly easy to admire and figuratively embrace her.

Admire her for signature smile.

Admire her for her overall disposition on life.

Admire the way this big-hearted woman speaks of her beloved family and how she steadfastly goes above and beyond to esteem others highly than herself.

Most importantly, it is, by all accounts, a foregone conclusion that one would easily become drawn to admire Bauer, in large part because her reputation is such that she’s destined to live and dwell on the larger side of God.

STANDING STRONG FOR CHRIST — A proud native of the rural Pennsylvania town of Fombell — which is approximately 40 minutes North of Pittsburgh — Bauer is the Senior Pastor of The historic Torch Church that is based in Saint Augustine, Florida.

“I was born in 1963 and I am now 54 years of age, but feel younger and stronger,” Bauer told Making Headline News this week.

To grasp a thorough understanding of why Bauer feels “younger and stronger,” look no further than how she diligently journeys through life, observing it from God’s perspective.

A non-denominational church that is located in the heart of Palencia, a popular establishment in Saint Augustine, Bauer’s congregation meets regularly for worship at nearby Palencia Elementary School, located at 355 Palencia Village Drive.

In addition, The Torch Church’s services are streamed live at new.livestream.com/thetorch.

For Bauer, whose notable pastoral tenure is such that she’s overwhelmingly passionate about ministry, she sensed all along that God was strategically positioning and equipping her to lead His sheep, considering the assortment of key values instilled in her by parents were comprised mostly of being consistent, coupled with hard work and, above all, demonstrating a loving, close-knit relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

“And (we were taught to) keep family close,” Bauer explained. “My dad taught us to win in life and that you have to work hard and you have to dream big. He was a dreamer and he thought big.”

CLINGING TO UNWAVERING FAITH — For Bauer, pastoral tenure is such that she’s overwhelmingly passionate about ministry, she sensed all along that God was strategically positioning and equipping her to lead His sheep, considering the assortment of key values my parents taught were comprised mostly of being consistent, coupled with hard work and, above all, demonstrate a loving, close-knit relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

All of which practically sums us why this progressive, thriving woman of the cloth has greatly become the hard worker and big dreamer for which she has become widely known throughout the Body of Christ.

For what it’s worth, while Bauer’s upbringing was center mostly on church and a whole lot of it, her keen knowledge, wisdom and perseverance for leading God’s people were discovered years ago when she delved off into entrepreneurship as a successful salon owner.

“I started to ministry when I opened up a hair salon and was praying and ministering to clients and was not even aware of it at the time,” Bauer recalled.

CREATED TO LEAD GOD’S PEOPLE — For what it’s worth, while Bauer’s upbringing was center mostly on church and a whole lot of it, her keen knowledge for leading God’s people was discovered years ago when she delved off into entrepreneurship as a salon owner.

Never mind that she admittedly wasn’t filled with the Holy Ghost while running what undoubtedly was a booming business. All she knew at the time, really, was that she had a relationship with Jesus.

Which, of course, looking back on it all, that was sufficient enough evidence that this young, Godly woman was destined to accomplish great and mighty things in the kingdom, all while fortifying unyielding agape love in the process.

“I was not filled with the spirit at that time, but I loved Jesus and would speak about Him throughout my day,” Bauer said. “I had a very successful business for 15 years.”

Consequently, at the tender age of 22, Bauer crossed paths with Cameron Bauer, whom God strategically handpicked for her as a lifelong companion — this after the couple has courted for seven years.

Like most married couples, Bauer and her husband endured their share of challenges and obstacles and, consequently, the enemy attempted time and again to attack her body and send her to premature death.

Still, through it all, God had other immeasurable ideas tailored made exclusively for Bauer, His beloved Woman Servant whom He had strategically set aside for His use.

Despite her faith having been tried and tested in ways unimaginable, Bauer was determined to hold fast the profession of her faith without wavering.

“I’ve had many up and downs, although I’ve impacted many lives for the kingdom,” Bauer said. “I knew the enemy wasn’t liking this at all. I fell so short in being called to pastor as I started to put ministry first and forgot my family along the way, even though they were involved.”

‘CA– USE I’M HAPPY — With her faith being tried and tested in ways unimaginable, Bauer was determined to hold fast the profession of her faith without wavering.

Having weathered arguably what seemed to be the darkest hours of her life and pastoral tenure — which seemed at a crossroads at one point in time — today, unlike never before, Bauer’s faith walk is stronger, in large part because she diligently stuck with God.

Even when it seemed she couldn’t trace Him.

“So here I am, seven-and-a-half-years later with an awesome team of committed saints who are also called by the Lord for such a time as this,” Bauer said. “I would not be where I am if it was not for John and Linda Sailer, who stood with me when no else would, I never want to go back to that place, but I can look back to see how far I have come and, Wow! I’ve come too far to go backwards.”

Talk about a spiritual victory speech for the ages.

Cincinnati-based businesswoman Cynthia McCalister’s Quality SAP Inc. is having a national information technology impact

For Cynthia McCalister, her entrepreneurial mindset spans back more than 30 years.

All things considered, she has her parents to thank.

Take, for instance, how back in August 1981, when the Professional Air Traffic Controllers implemented a strike that was ultimately declared illegal and was broken by the Reagan Administration.

By and large, such a well-publicize work stoppage gave way to the entrepreneurial concept for McCalister’s father, the late Thomas Johnson.

GLOBAL IMPACT — Amongst the notable neighborhood gems Cincinnati businesswoman Cynthia McCalister has serviced include: Bonita’s Southern Style Sweet Potato Pies, East of Chicago Pizza, NT Nails, Crown Jewel Designs, Made With Love Cakes and Catering Services, Prayer In Action Events by L’BAE, and Full Throttle Indoor Karting, just to name a few.

“It was the influence of my parents, Thomas and Madlyn Johnson, that gave me the drive to be an entrepreneur,” McCalister, who resides in Cincinnati, told Making Headline News this week. “After the Air Traffic Controllers Strike in the 80’s, my father set out on a path to become a small business owner.”

McCalister’s father eventually made good on his business-related pledge and by starting what had become Regal Carpet Cleaning.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Having witnessed her father evolve mightily as a business owner, coupled with her mother having become a fixture as a drug and alcohol abuse counselor, not to mention a counselor for the AIDS Foundation of Dayton, Ohio and later a minister, McCalister sensed that one day she would absorb and take heed to their influential, immeasurable impact.

I work to help spread the word about the hidden gems by leveraging technology of the Key Spot app, creating networking connections, and social media.”

Wait. There’s more pertinent information about which McCalister deemed it essential to share.

“When we are able to connect businesses to each other, such as an event coordinator looking for vendors, or a restaurant owner looking for desert makers, it provides opportunities for both sides to benefit,” McCalister explained. “In addition, being a patron provides the best firsthand account of products and services.”

THE LEGACY LIVES ONHaving witnessed her father evolve mightily as a business owner, coupled with her mother having become a fixture as a drug and alcohol abuse counselor, a counselor for the AIDS Foundation of Dayton, Ohio, and later a minister, McCalister sensed that one day she would absorb and take heed to their influential impact.

Since Quality SAP‘s inception, there are currently Key Spot business partners in 15 states, including Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, New York, Arkansas, Illinois, Texas, Alabama, Indiana, Colorado, Michigan, Missouri, South Carolina, and California.

“We are continuing to spread across the country,” McCalister said.

All things considered, she has her parents to thank.

“As a family, we helped and supported (my father’s) journey,” McCalister said. “I saw firsthand the hard work he put into growing his business. In my mother, I saw God’s love demonstrated by her work in the community. Though they are no longer with us, their legacy lives on through me.”

LET’S NETWORK, Y’ALL: https://www.facebook.com/groups/KeySpotBusinessPartners/.

A legacy that, because she thought it necessary long ago to heed her parents’ advice and life’s lessons, has greatly given way to Quality SAP now having a global presence.

“I would not have achieved so much if it was not for my faith in God, the support of my family, friends, and business team for believing in me and my dream,” McCalister said. “With the love of my husband and children, it has given me the motivation to continue to strive for the highest heights. I want to make my family proud and be a positive role model, demonstrating anything is possible to achieve with God, a dream, and hard work.”

That’s the key.
