Dallas/Fort Worth author Chrystal Castillo witnesses a glimpse of God’s glory through her new book

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. (Romans 15:1 KJV)

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH

PURPOSED FOR PAIN — A book that was officially released in early-May, Dallas/Fort Worth-author Chrystal D. Castillio spent the past couple of years assembling a book she admittedly wrote during what was a was “a very difficult season” of her life.

LEWISVILLE, Texas — Chrystal Castillo is certainly one of a kind, is surely a unique, godly woman in her own right.

Consider, for instance, how Castillo is appropriately described in her brief bio on her personal website.

As mentioned at https://www.chryscastillo.com/, Castillo has been widely deemed a “catalyst,” or someone who doesn’t blend in with cultures or trends, but aims to cause reactions in environments that would change the conditions of the energy, mindsets, and lifestyles of those around her.

How befitting for a Christian-based author, who also doesn’t shy away from the notion that it is because of the abundant life that Christ came to give us that will, in turn, provide us with the spiritual — and natural — affirmation we need to possess and savor a victorious life.

ROUND OF APPLAUSE — Castillo’s readers, meanwhile, are grateful of the notion that she obeyed God’s Voice and elected to write “Affirmed,” which is already generating favorable reviews.

“It is the Word of God that affirms us,” Castillo told Making Headline News this week.

Given such an intriguing and thought-provoking analogy undoubtedly rings true, according to this accomplished writer, that practically sums up why she thought it necessary to compose the book, entitled, “Affirmed,” a spiritually-empowering project that is just a few weeks removed from its much-anticipated release.

“When we know His truth, we can speak to the noises of our fears, insecurities,  lies, idols, etc.,” said Castillo, explaining her divine purpose for writing a book that has resulted in her making her authorship debut. “Speaking His truth over those noises shatters the voice, the power, and effectiveness of the sound that we hear.”

A book that was officially released in early-May, Castillio spent the past couple of years assembling a book she admittedly wrote during what was a was “a very difficult season” of her life.

But God…Who has the power to affirm us throughout His matchless, life-changing Word, a God Who had ultimately provided this devout woman of faith with some much-needed spiritual relief, particularly during her time in the wilderness.

“A lady at my church would speak life to me every Sunday morning,” said Castillo, recalling the awe-inspiring events that greatly fueled her desire to write her new book. “She was speaking God’s word over my life.”

Ironically and much to Castillo’s delight, such a weekly trend would ultimately inspire her to steadfastly speak life over her seemingly unfavorable situations.

“At one point, I decided to start study God’s word and speak over my own life,” Castillo, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, said. “God took me through a season of learning how the word affirms us. The lady at church was affirming with the truth of God’s word and didn’t even realize that she was helping me silence the noise I was hearing.”

So what exactly was the adversary saying to this Christian-oriented author?

“(He was saying) you’re not a great mom….you’re not enough,” Castillo recalled. “Every Sunday, she would tell me an affirmation and it helped me keep pressing.”

And, to her credit, such affirmations had eventually given way to her birthing “Affirmed,” a book she emphasized was created as strategic way to inspire others through the illustration of God’s Word, most notably through writing.

“I love analogies, and in my book, I use them to illustrate God’s Word,” Castillo’s said. “It is clear to me that God has gifted me in this way. I enjoy seeing other people inspired, encouraged, and empowered through the Word of God.”

Castillo’s readers, meanwhile, are grateful of the notion that she obeyed God’s Voice and elected to write “Affirmed,” which is already generating favorable reviews.

“So far, I have had people tell me that they now understand how to speak back to the noise, using the Word of God,” said Castillo, adding that “Affirmed” will be comprised of a three-part series and that plans are in the works to co-author a devotional book with her husband (Orlando Castillo).

Also, Castillo acknowledged that she’s open to accepting speaking engagements, during which she would discuss at length her book and, most importantly, encourage the masses in the process.

IN HER OWN WORDS —– “I love analogies, and in my book, I use them to illustrate God’s Word,” Castillo’s said. “It is clear to me that God has gifted me in this way. I enjoy seeing other people inspired, encouraged, and empowered through the Word of God.”

Just like that big-hearted fellow church member had done for her.

All things considered, Castillo has deemed it essential to count her blessings daily — to re-affirm that which God has blessed her.

“I am married with two handsome boys,” Castillo said. “I serve on the prayer team for woman’s ministry at my church (One Community Church). I enjoy working on freelance writing projects. I am also very passionate about encouraging other authors to push through their writing journey.”

All of which explains why she’s certainly one of a kind, is surely a unique, godly woman in her own right.

Detroit author Taynia A. Coleman’s featured book is a microcosm of her God-mandated purpose

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS MOTHER’S DAY 2019 SPECIAL REPORT

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. (Ecclesiastes 4:9 NIV)

GOD’S LEADING LADY

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM — Taynia A. Coleman’s “An Unnecessary Breakdown Within Your Relationship: Communication Is Key” is an awe-inspiring, informative written document in which she strives diligently to be rather forthright and direct with her sizable reading audience.

To her credit and for the betterment of relationship enhancing, Taynia A. Coleman wrote a book in which arguably her chief focus was to — for a lack of better words — keep it 100.

In a nutshell, Coleman’s “An Unnecessary Breakdown Within Your Relationship: Communication Is Key” is an awe-inspiring, informative written document in which she strives diligently to be rather forthright and direct with her sizable reading audience.
“God first gave me the vision to start a family and relationship blog called, ‘Destined With A Purpose,’” Coleman told Making Headline News this week. “Due to the fact I was married for 10 years and only three of the years were good years, I needed an outlet, which later became a prayer relationship and communication book.”

A book that is comprised of 54 pages, Coleman began assembling “An Unnecessary Breakdown Within Your Relationship: Communication Is Key” sometime in late 2016 and needed a little less than two years to complete a project she constructed while enduring arguably a downtrodden, discomforting season of her life.

A native of Detroit, Coleman’s featured book is accompanied by “An Unnecessary Breakdown Within Your Relationship: The Journal.”

“This journal was created with the prayers from the book in order to get your prayer life going for your relationship,” a spokesperson for Coleman’s “An Unnecessary Breakdown Within Your Relationship: Communication Is Key” said in a detailed synopsis of her book at Barnes & Noble online. “It includes space for you to write out your own prayers and also a journaling room. When faced with problems with your significant other, you start wondering how to get things back on the right track and it is never easy. The powerful prayers and the prayers of your own that is in this journal are designed to help get your relationship back on the right path.”

As Coleman explained, she wrote her relationship-enhancing book during a time in which “I felt like I was by myself at every angle,” she recalled.

“There were no how to, or what to do when this happen in your relationship type of books,” said Coleman, whose authorship debut arose amid a divorce. “I mean, there were books, but none of them resonated with my spirit. I needed something raw and real. If I couldn’t find the help I needed, I wanted to be the help someone else may need.”

BUT GOD — As Coleman explained, she wrote her relationship-enhancing book during a time in which “I felt like I was by myself at every angle,” she recalled.

To her credit and for the betterment of building up her spirit man and drawing closer to Almighty God, Coleman’s book has become an influential GPS system, of sorts, particularly as it relates to helping others steer their way from a sense of defeat to a season that’s accompanied a God-manifested victory.

“The purpose of this book is to help individuals and couples heal in order to communicate and love effectively,” Coleman, a notable Relationship Coach, explained. “It is for all levels of relationships, as well to help anyone that is still broken from a relationship. The prayers at the end of each chapter are powerful.

“These books are to help heal the broken hearted through prayers, it is to let them know that they too can go from broken to complete if they would trust God in and through the process,” Coleman continued. “It is to let them know that in those very dark days that there is better on the other side, but they have to have faith and believe God.”

Much like this Motor City-based writer and accomplished businesswoman had to, particularly during a time her faith had been tried and tested unlike never before.

But God…

PEACE AND BLESSINGS — All things considered, because Coleman stuck with God by staying in faith, the purpose for which she has been created is still being fulfilled, all the while she possesses the peace that surpasses understanding in the process.

“I believe my writings will help heal people emotionally and physically from heart break and depression,” Coleman said without hesitation. “I want them to know even though they may feel alone, they don’t have to go through the process alone.”

After all, two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor, according to scripture.

“God created me to help heal the brokenhearted,” said Coleman, adding that the feedback since the release of “An Unnecessary Breakdown Within Your Relationship: Communication Is Key” has been overwhelmingly favorable. “He took me through a process that only the strong could survive.”

And to think, the devil thought he had her.

But God…

“I almost lost my mind, dealing with the damaged and misfit marriage that I lost my way,” Coleman said. “I lost Taynia.”

All things considered, because Coleman stuck with God by staying in faith, the purpose for which she has been created is still being fulfilled, all the while she possesses the peace that surpasses understanding in the process.

KEEPING IT 100 — “I believe my writings will help heal people emotionally and physically from heart break and depression,” Coleman said without hesitation. “I want them to know even though they may feel alone, they don’t have to go through the process alone.”

“I birthed ‘Destined With A Purpose’ out of pain, because at the time, I felt I had no purpose, but God told me otherwise, so I listened,” Coleman said, “With God’s healing power, He lifted me up and pieced together my broken heart, and now my mission is to help others mend their hearts. I want to show them how to love themselves before trying to love somebody else.”

Talk about a Necessary Breakdown of a book that has emerged a constant must read.

For all the right reasons.

South Carolina author Cherell Evans Latimer’s books empowering women to overpower domestic violence

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, so he may run that reads it. (Habakkuk 2:2 KJV)

IN A GOOD PLACE

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM — A book that Cherell Evans Latimer needed approximately six months to compose, this Greenville, South Carolina-based author deemed it essential to assemble “Castdown: God Remembers You” in large part because, according to her, we all have either met someone or have been in some form of domestic violence relationship.

Cherell Evans Latimer doesn’t shy away from the notion that she has a spiritual place.

As far as she’s concerned, she’s destined to go to great lengths to protect it all cost.

Consider, for instance, how Latimer’s proverbial spiritual place was essentially challenged, particularly during a time in which God was strategically positioning her to engage in a life-changing assignment.

As Latimer recalled, it all unfolded about a year or so ago.

“(In) January of 2018, I was focusing on my relationship with God more and more,” Latimer told Making Headline News this week. “I couldn’t find any books that interest me. I would usually read paranormal fictions, but they were disrupting my spiritual place.”

Ahhh…

GOD’S PLAN — A native of Muskegon Heights, Michigan — a rural establishment that rest in Muskegon County and is comprised of roughly 10,856 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Latimer’s initial plan was to begin writing “Castdown: God Remembers You” at the beginning of last year, but the routine plans surrounding her wedding had caused a three-month delay.

So that is when Latimer had begun to witness her life’s much-anticipated turning point, one that had ultimately catapulted her to what undoubtedly has become a ceremoniously chapter in the process.

“When I searched for Christian fiction (books), I didn’t find anything that would keep me interested, so God gave me this story line,” Latimer said.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

FOR STARTERS — A businesswoman who works primarily from home as the owner of a health and wellness online shopping venture, Latimer also authored “The Wrong Kind Of Love: Defined By God,” a book that recalls what this writer describes as her “personal story and experience with domestic violence.” That book was published June 2017.

And just like that, Latimer had eventually emerged as the mastermind behind the awe-inspiring book entitled, “Castdown: God Remembers You,” her spiritually-enhancing, thought-provoking project that is somewhere in the neighborhood of three months removed since it was officially published.

A book that Latimer needed approximately six months to compose, this Greenville, South Carolina-based author deemed it essential to assemble “Castdown: God Remembers You” in large part because, according to her, we all have either met someone or have been in some form of domestic violence relationship.

And here’s the real shocker that’s essentially crippling the modern-day church, according to this brilliant writer:

“It’s more stressful, it seems, for the married Christians,” Latimer said of the dreaded trend that is domestic violence. “Especially if you’re a pastor, deacon, or community leader. People that are well known are held to a higher standard and it would be world news if these private lives were exposed. I wanted to show people that God still hears and remembers you.  You may not see it, but He is working on your behalf.”

VISION UNFOLDING — When asked what is the divine message she’s sending to her reading audience through her latest book, Latimer, a domestic violence survivor, eloquently said, “That God is real. His angels are real and there is life after domestic violence. My goal is to reach those that won’t go to church, but still love a good read…those that believe in God, but are still stuck in the world’s way of living. God can fix any mess you may be in.”

However, once she commenced to constructing a book that figures to impact countless of lives throughout the Body of Christ and can be purchased at https://acepublishing.org/, she was reminded, among other things, that God had essentially singled her out to write a book for such a critical time as now.

Now with “Castdown: God Remembers You” presently on the market, Latimer has announced that other books are forthcoming, most notably “Castdown 2: God Is Pleased,” which is projected to hit the market this summer.

WOMAN OF PURPOSE

ARRANGED AND APPOINTED BY GOD — Latimer had eventually emerged as the mastermind behind the awe-inspiring book entitled, “Castdown: God Remembers You,” her spiritually-enhancing, thought-provoking project that is somewhere in the neighborhood of three months since it was officially published.

To her credit, she’s become the beneficiary of some favorable feedback since the release of her latest book.

“(Check out the) reviews from amazon,” said Latimer, who has already taken part in a few book signings since the release of her latest written document. “(People say it is) easy read and the characters you care about. I love the intertwining of the Word with the storyline and characters, and (people are) looking forward to the next book. It’s a great book for women in similar situations.”

Because after all, our spiritual place somewhat by which we must protect at all cost.

Detroit author Reverend Rita M. Henderson exercising her faith in ways unimaginable as an accomplished writer

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)

All Reverend Rita M. Henderson knows is that in 2011 on a Monday, she witnessed the overall landscape of her life undergo an unlikely makeover.

Both in the natural and spirit.

For all the right reasons, too.

“The Lord called me off what I called my good government job after working 26 years,” Henderson told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “As I was driving home, the Lord said, ‘When you drive away from here today, daughter, don’t you ever drive back here again. And I promise you that if you will take care of My business, I will take care of all of your business.’ I never drove back there.”

MUSTARD SEED KIND OF FAITH

GOD’S FAITH STEPPER — Much to her delight, amongst the notable ways that God had greatly positioned Henderson toward her destiny is through the world of authorship, an awe-inspiring development that had given way to Reverend Rita M. Henderson assembling the book entitled, “30 Days To Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams.”

And just like that, Henderson, exemplifying unwavering faith, had ultimately begun to witness God work diligently on her behalf in ways unimaginable.

Much to her delight, amongst the notable ways that God had greatly positioned Henderson toward her destiny is through the world of authorship, an awe-inspiring development that had given way to this Detroit native assembling the book entitled, “30 Days To Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams.”

A spiritually-enhancing written document, Henderson’s “30 Days To Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams” is a few month removed from having made its much-anticipated presence on the market.

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM — A spiritually-enhancing written document, Henderson’s “30 Days To Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams” is a few month removed from having made its much-anticipated presence on the market.

Interestingly and to her credit, Henderson’s featured project undoubtedly is synonymous to the purpose for which God created her.

“30 Days to Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams” is designed to help you build up your most holy faith,” said a spokesperson for Henderson’s newly-produced in a detailed breakdown at Amazon.com. “Using scriptural references and daily prayer points, it guides you on how to diligently seek God and how to connect with Him through faith in order to please Him and cause Him to act on your behalf.”

An accomplished writer who has surely found her niche in the ever-so-competitive world of authorship, Henderson’s “30 Days to Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams” is comprised of a rather compelling package, considering the book comes in a two-part set and is accompanied by a 30-day journal and audio series.

A book that has garnered a slew of rave of reviews since its release and was deemed Amazon’s Best Selling Spiritual Devotional in June 2018, Henderson also authored six books to date, including having joined a gallery of writers to help assemble “I Rise: Living Beyond The Bruises.”

A book that is forwarded by accomplished Flint, Michigan-based author, empowerment extraordinaire, and Kilgore Publishing founder Precious S. Brown, “I Rise: Living Beyond The Bruises” officially made its presence on the market on December 17.

“The single most underlying reason I chose to produce ‘30 Days To Increased Faith is because people asked me for it,” said Henderson, who’s also widely known as a flourishing businesswoman and speaker. “They asked me for a spiritual devotion and they wanted a 30-day spiritual devotion. They wanted one and we talked about a Thanksgiving devotion, a faith devotional, and there was one other I can’t remember it now, but I decided out of doing a poll on Facebook.”

Once the social media ballots were cast, Henderson began her quest to give the people of God exactly what they requested.

“I decided to begin with the devotion on faith, because we know that without faith, it’s impossible to please Him. So that’s why I started and that’s how it came about. My Facebook audience asked me for it.” — Reverend Rita M. Henderson

Thanks in large part to her having obeyed the Voice of God back in 2011, Henderson is steadily reaping the benefits God had reserved exclusively for her all along.

IN A ZONE — An accomplished writer who has surely found her niche in the ever-so-competitive world of authorship, Henderson’s “30 Days to Increased Faith: Increase Your Faith, Attract God’s Attention And Achieve Your Dreams” is comprised of a rather compelling package, considering the book comes in a two-part set and is accompanied by a 30-day journal and audio series.

Yep. That’s just like God, moving fervently on behalf of a minister who, much to her delight, has evolved mightily into a best-selling author, speaker, and consultant.

“I have also been called a ‘spiritual midwife,’ because I have led many in birthing their God-ordained purpose by way of my unique style of preaching, workshops, mentorship programs,” Henderson said.

Sounding much like the beloved faith-stepper for which she widely known.

Humble, Texas entrepreneur Jessica Robinson’s Happy Hands And Feet Transportation providing children ‘safe and dependable’ service

We begin this feel good story with an encouraging word uttered by accomplished Humble, Texas-area businesswoman Jessica Robinson.

THE ROMANS 8:28 FACTOR — For Humble, Texas businesswoman Jessica Robinson, it is, by all accounts, due in large part to the supernatural favor God has bestowed upon her that this Sugarland, Texas native and Dulles High School alum has been afforded the golden opportunity to erect her business venture as the proud owner and chief executive officer of Happy Hands And Feet Transportation.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose,” said Robinson, reciting the familiar Biblical passage that is housed in Romans 8:28.

To grasp a thorough understanding of why Robinson, a devout woman of faith, deemed it essential to share of her rise as progressive, thriving entrepreneur, for starters, look no further than the unmerited favor God has strategically revealed in her life.

“God gave us all purpose and gifts in our life, especially to help one another,” Robinson told Making Headline News during a weekend interview.

For Robinson, it is, by all accounts, due in large part to the supernatural favor God has bestowed upon her that this Sugarland, Texas native and Dulles High School alum has been afforded the golden opportunity to erect her business venture as the proud owner and chief executive officer of Happy Hands And Feet Transportation.

ACCORDING TO GOD’S PURPOSE — A business that went into full operations in Summer 2015, Robinson’s Happy Hands And Feet Transportation is geared largely toward providing safe transportation service for children at a reasonably affordable rate to their parents.

A business that went into full operations in Summer 2015 and is located at 2325 Atascocita, Suite E-108, Robinson’s Happy Hands And Feet Transportation is geared largely toward providing safe transportation service for children at a reasonably affordable rate to their parents.

A distinctly unique business that is nearing its third year of existence, Robinson acknowledged that Happy Hands And Feet Transportation is extremely ideal, considering it allows her the keen flexibility, particularly as it relates to attending church regularly and spending quality time with her eight grandchildren.

More than anything, Robinson’s transportation business is especially ideal, in large part because it provides what she describes as safe and dependable door-to-door pick up and drop off transportation services.

“I wanted to spend more time in ministry with flexible time available,” Robinson said. “Plus (it’s beneficial because) having eight grandchildren that had to walk to school in the rain and in the cold, since bus services were not provided.”

More than anything, Robinson’s transportation business is especially ideal, in large part because it provides what she describes as safe and dependable door-to-door pick up and drop off transportation services.

A business that caters mostly to children ranging in ages four to 17, Robinson said what she loves the most about her venture is her profound love and adoration for children and, as she’s quickly points out, “I love that I can keep God in it!”

Interestingly, Robinson was inspired to establish her business, courtesy of the tireless support and guidance of her spiritual mother, Apostle Wanda Wiltz, as well as fellow Texas businesswoman Tabitha Martin of Cool Kids Transportation Services in nearby Pearland.

In addition, she credits the founder of JMD Transportation, LLC , as well as It’s On The Way Delivery Services as other local businesses that have greatly helped enable her to fulfill her entrepreneurship endeavors.

A business that caters mostly to children ranging in ages four to 17, Robinson said what she loves the most about her venture is her profound love and adoration for children and, as she’s quickly points out, “I love that I can keep God in it!”

All of which practically sums up why this feel good story was spearheaded by a few encouraging word uttered by this accomplished Humble, Texas-area businesswoman.

All of which practically explains why, well,  only what you do for Christ will last.

“It’s been a blessing, to be honest,” Jackson, during an interview this week with Making Headlines News, said when asked how to assess her marriage to the retired Andrew Jackson, Sr., the Founder and former Senior Pastor of Faith Temple Ministries Church of God In Christ. “I had to adjust to him because I was by myself for over 30 years.”

For Shirley Jackson, the past two-plus years have brought about a renewed sense of appeasement and wholeness, not to mention a newfound disposition on life, particularly since she and Andrew Jackson, Sr. tied the knot on October 5, 2015.

And, in the coming days, Shirley Jackson will join her husband in St. Louis, where he will witness what figures to be arguably one of the most memorable moments in his illustrious pastoral career.

A native of Grady, Arkansas, Andrew Jackson, Sr. will officially be consecrated to the Office of Bishopric during the COGIC’s 110th National Holy Convocation November 6-14.

The Holy Convocation is the annual gathering of the members of the COGIC, during which they assemble for praise and worship services, the purpose of electing bishops to the General Board, and creating strategic plans for national meetings for the ensuing year.

A Pentecostal Holiness Christian denomination with a predominantly African-American membership, the Church of God In Christ is comprised of nearly five million members throughout the United States and roughly 12,000 congregations.

Widely regarded as the largest Pentecostal church and the fifth largest Christian church in the U.S., COGIC-based institutions can be found in more than 60 countries. Interestingly, its worldwide membership is comprised of somewhere in the neighborhood of six-to-eight million members.

Also, there are more than 15,000 COGIC congregations globally.

While Shirley Jackson describes Andrew Jackson’s much-anticipated elevation to the church’s highest office as “long overdue,” she is especially grateful that this admirable exploit will finally come to fruition, in large part because her husband’s faith-based resume in the Body of Christ is such that he essentially had positioned himself for such a time as now.

“He deserves it,” Shirley Jackson said of her husband’s forthcoming consecration. “I knew this was something he really wanted. This is something he’s worked 47 years for.”

Long before Andrew and Shirley Jackson had exchanged nuptials, Shirley had become a fixture throughput the Mid-South-area medical sector. A graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, Shirley Jackson had spent more than four decades as a nursing professional, most notably eight years both in Case Management and OB-GYN, three years as part of Emergency Room Procedures, and 11 years in Medical Surgery Assistance. A nursing tenure that began in 1974 until her retirement in 2015, Shirley Jackson’s career also includes having worked as a school nurse for both the Memphis and Shelby County Schools systems from 2006-2010.

To grasp a thorough concept of why the former Faith Temple Ministries’ pastor has earned his way to the church’s most covenant office, look no further than the immeasurable foundation he laid for an institution he founded in 1969 in the heart of South Memphis before calling it a career in June 2016.

“He’s (been) working the office of a bishop all along as 1 Timothy tells us,” Shirley Jackson said. “He’s birthed a lot of pastors out of his church and he was the husband to one wife for 58 years.”

WELL DONE — While Shirley Jackson describes Andrew Jackson, Sr.’s much-anticipated elevation to the church’s highest office as “long overdue,” she is especially grateful that this commendable feat will finally come to fruition, in large part because her husband’s body of work in the Body of Christ is such that he essentially had positioned himself for a time such as now.

Interestingly, she is the mother of three daughters (Angela Anderson, Kimberly King, and Alisha Perry), and has four grandchildren (Cameron Farwell, Karington Boyd, Kaleb King, and Kalani King).

“He’s been a blessing to me and my girls,” Shirley Jackson said of her husband’s impact on her and her family. “They honor him because he gives them sound advice. He’s helped me to learn to love people where they are. He’s given me so much insight as it relates to my spiritual growth.”

To her husband’s credit, it is the kind of awareness to which many throughout the Body of Christ can greatly attest, the kind of insight by which many will surely reflect upon and celebrate once Andrew Jackson, Sr. is officially consecrated in the coming days.

“He’s helped so many people,” Shirley Jackson said of her husband’s well-publicized pastoral legacy. “So this is something he’s worked for and earned.”

All while making the proper — and necessary — adjustments in the process.
