NASHVILLE, Tennessee — A pretty clever, sometime hilarious guy, that Aaron Jordan.
So much, in fact, that he took to his Facebook page and staged a rather amusing post Friday afternoon.
“That moment when you go to pick up your daughter from school and the teacher asks if you are really famous and a celebrity…Funny!!! #MrKnowYourWorth” Jordan wrote to the delight of his nearly 4,000 followers.
While Jordan’s Facebook post gave way to an assortment of pleasantries and laughs, in essence, the notion that he is a celebrity, of sorts, rings true in many aspects.
A native of Memphis who’s made quite a name for himself as an accomplished author, motivational speaker, and relationship expert, Jordan has added yet another achievement to his talented, immeasurable repertoire as an award-winning syndicated radio personality as owner and host of the Know Your Worth Radio Show with co-host, Atlanta’s Michael Warren. The show airs every Saturday from Noon-1 p.m. CST on Nashville’s 102.1 FM The Light and is a proceeded by the Hezekiah Walker Show.
To his credit, the general consensus amongst Jordan’s listening audience is that he certainly has paid his dues, particularly as it relates to making a name for himself, thus creating his own unique voice as a flourishing middle Tennessee-based radio personality.
How else to explain why the Know Your Worth Radio Show has managed to attract such big name awarding-winning and renowned gospel recording artists such as Grammy winner Yolanda Adams, Stella winner Jekalyn Carr, Grammy winner Kierra Sheard, not to mention Preachers of Atlanta star and internationally-acclaimed Pastor Kim Pothier-Jones, among others?
“What I love the most is being able to impact people in a positive way,” Jordan told Making Headline News this week.
Aside from bridging the gap between his devoted listening audience and the gospel celebs, Jordan routinely makes it point to offer some pivotal, wholesome, life-enhancing relationship advice that could greatly help inspire and empower those who have embraced his 60-minute show.
“(We give) them great insight on various topics in dating, provide great entertainment, and all while enriching their minds,” Jordan said.

Moreover, what’s so intriguing about a show that was officially birthed in May 2015 is that it already is starting to garner rave reviews from other syndicated shows.
Just recently, after generating headlines upon the official release his book, “The Power Within, A Woman’s Worth: From Both Sexes,” a representative of the Steve Harvey Morning Show retweeted the link of Jordan’s story to express his well wishes to the rising radio personality standout.
Such a development, Jordan said, caught him by surprise for all the right reasons.
“I was actually shocked when I first saw it and got the notification,” Jordan explained. “Also, I know we follow each other on Twitter, but I use to wonder if certain people actually see my tweets. So it came by a huge surprise. (I was) grateful for the favor of my Creator.”
And much to the delight of Jordan and his co-host, their listeners are grateful for the positive vibes they customarily are afforded in the midday every Saturday, a trend that, as a result, reminds them of their God-manufactured worth.
“Our listeners have stated it is a refresher to have two men authentically talk about dating and relationships and, most importantly, give real unbiased advice to empower (the masses),” Jordan said.
So why in such a short time frame has the Know Your Worth Radio Show emerged as a fixture around the country?
“In my opinion, I think it is the authenticity of the advice and topics discussed and, most importantly, because of God’s favor,” he said.
