Dr. Alandrus P. Spencer’s got a lot going on in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
For all the right reasons, too.
For starters, Spencer has stiff ties to Jonesboro, considering it is his native establishment, a college town that is comprised of approximately 71,551, according to the latest U.S. census.
Not only that, Spencer and his wife, Veronica, are proud homeowners in Jonesboro, which is the fifth most populous city in the Natural State (the Jonesboro metropolitan is comprised of around 121,026 residents).
“We are in the process of establishing Touching Lives Ministry, INC (Jonesboro location),” Spencer, a longtime Pastor, told Making Headline News this week. “I really enjoy Jonesboro, because there are a lot of people that I have come in contact with that have prosperous mentalities.”
And, in the coming weeks, Spencer’s itinerary will include hosting a booking signing in Jonesboro to promote his inspiring book entitled, Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment.
The book signing will take place on May 5 from Noon to 3 pm CST at Christ Ambassadors Ministries International, located at 5114 East Nettleton Avenue.
A spiritually gut-checking and life-enhancing written document that is comprised of 90 pages, Dr. Spencer’s Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment officially hit the market on September 20, 2017, approximately two years after God had revealed to him the vision to write it.

“I chose to write this book because I love to encourage others, and I felt I could give them these same quotes that challenged and encouraged me during some of life most challenging times,” Dr. Spencer told MHL during an interview in mid-February.
As for hosting the book signing in his native hometown, Dr. Spencer attributed his decision to the valiant support he customarily receives from residents of the city.
“People in Jonesboro love strong and support their very own, and I am happy to be a part of this awesome display of God’s love and encouragement,” Dr. Spencer said.
What’s even more intriguing is that sales of his new book sales are on the rise. Dr. Spencer said.
“Book sales are growing and open doors are on the rise and, as evidenced, I have been blessed with five major book signings in the Big Apple of New York.”
Surely, he couldn’t have enjoyed sustained success without a solid supporting cast.
“My team and I are working to do a few book signings in Jonesboro,” said Dr. Spencer, adding that his book can be purchased at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Xilbris. “But I keep books with me at all time, because I like to deliver them, to give that personal touch, to build fellowship and possibly pray for those who may be in need. I live every day to encourage someone in a world that’s missing the importance of encouragement every day.”
Especially in good ole Jonesboro.
For all the right reasons, too.
