So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9 NLT)
For Charise Marie, giving up wasn’t an option.
Not on her time watch.
Not after having grown up in a Christian-based environment.
Not after having recalled all about which she’s gone through, God still provided for her a way of escape.
Time and time again.
And so it came to pass that in the wake of having to press and navigate her way through arguably the most turbulent times of her life, Charise Marie, a young native of Philadelphia, had become greatly inspired to pay homage to her Creator, thus share to the masses how she managed to persevere, courtesy of her newly-produced book entitled, Pushing Through.
Officially released on March 22, 2018, Charise Marie’s Pushing Through is her debut novel, whereby she reminisces on an array of challenges, most notably what she refers to as a life of multiple injuries, deaths, failed relationships and struggling parenthood.
“She speaks of her unwed planned pregnancy and domestic violence that led her to her first talk show appearance,” said a spokesperson for Charise Marie’s Pushing Through in a detailed description of her book at books.google.com. “Charise takes you back on the multiple surgeries and the loss of multiple babies that led to her attempted suicide events.”
As if that isn’t enough turmoil to bring even the strongest of person to tears, has appropriately narrated how her tumultuous journey of being diagnosed twice with more than one mental illness. Charise Marie, in fact, dauntlessly defines just what it means to keep moving forward, especially when keeping it moving is the only available option.
Not only that, as it pertains to the tear-jerking events that had ultimately fueled her desire to compose her book, Charise Marie doesn’t shy away from the notion that, well…
Well, put it this way: She’s downright giddy of the fact that she defied the urge to quit.
“I chose to write my book, because I wanted to inspire not only women, but men as well that if you fail, keep pushing through,” Charise Marie, an accomplished Philly-area businesswoman, told Making Headline News this week. “Never give up.”
An emotional-driven, awe-inspiring written that is comprised of 222 pages, Charise Marie began writing Pushing Through toward the end of 2015 and needed just a little less than two years to complete it.
“I completed my book the end of January 2018,” Charise Marie said.
All things considered, it is due in large part to her relentless, bend-but-don’t-brake faith that had eventually infused her with the fervent desire to — you know — keep pushing through.
“My message for everyone is when you quit, you never win,” Charise Marie says without hesitation. “Falling down is an accident, but staying down is a choice and, no matter what you go through in life or how much you’re going through, every time you get knocked down, get back up and keep pushing through.”
For what it’s worth, it’s safe to assume that Charise Marie’s reading audience has embraced the proverbial spiritual gut check she essential sends through the pivotal messages in her book.
How else to explain the favorable feedback she’s garnered in such a short time frame for a book that is less than three months removed its release?
“My book was released and the feedback has been shocking to me,” Charise Marie said. “People have been telling me how inspiring it is and how awesome it is that I’ve been able to get through so many things I’ve been through in life. I’ve been told it’s also a page turner and they couldn’t put it down.”
And here’s the real bonus: Book No. 2 is presently in the works, Charise Marie announced, and is expected to hit the market sometime in early 2020.
“God’s willing,” said Charise Marie, sounding very much like the true fighter for which she is widely known. “Writing this book has helped me to inspire others to keep the faith and keep pushing. It’s created a way for me to speak for others that went through similar things that I’ve been through but are scared or ashamed to tell their story.”
Now we know why for this brilliant, big-hearted author, giving up wasn’t an option.
Not on her time watch.
Not after having grown up in a Christian-based environment.
Not after having recalled all about which she’s gone through, God still provided for her a way of escape.
Time and time again.
