“Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own.” — Michelle Obama
GLOBAL GAME-CHANGER
They routinely asked about it.
And, as a result, Teia Acker Moore delivered.
Emphatically, to put it more precisely.
“I had so many people inquiring about podcasting,” Acker Moore, a Savannah, Georgia-based businesswoman told Making Headline News during a weekend interview. “I’ve hosted several seminars on the subject, but did not feel inclined to write a book. I actually heard the Voice (of God) to do it in October of 2019.”
And, the rest, as they say, was history.
Facing January 1, 2020 to compose her first book, Acker Moore is just days away from witnessing the much-anticipated release of The Art of Podcasting: From Planning to Profits, her empowering written work that figures to have a monumental impact amongst entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs for years to come.
International Podcast Day is September 30.
When asked what was the single, most underlying reason she chose to assemble what figures to emerge as a highly sought-after book, Acker Moore said: “Aside from placing my ideas on paper, I felt the need to help those who desired to begin their podcast, but thought it was too risky, too expensive, or those who did not understand the value of having a subject and getting paid for it.”
To her credit, Acker Moore undoubtedly has found her niche in this ever-so-competitive podcast industry.

Interestingly, Acker Moore wasted little time composing The Art of Podcasting: From Planning to Profits, a project she commenced to constructing while quarantining amid her unlikely exposure to COVID-19.
“In an effort to keep my mind off the threat of losing my life to this awful illness, I decided to put my energy and effort into completing my book, among other things,” Acker Moore said.
Much to her delight, her compelling published work figures to be as a good as advertised for some time, given her massive — and continuously growing — podcast followers, many of whom have thoroughly embraced her brand.
Now, this accomplished Georgia businesswoman is challenge others to “take a chance” in an arena that has benefited her mightily.
“Podcasting is the fastest growing platform to date,” said Acker Moore, adding that she’s on the music side of Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Sirius XM. “In some instances, people are listening to podcasts more than music. There is great reward in podcasting. Rewards such as meeting new people, increasing your audience, branding initiatives and, of course, financial merit.”
Widely known as the owner and CEO of the brand, Teia Acker #RESILIENT — an endeavor that was formed to aid in the establishment of her identity as a business owner — Acker Moore doesn’t shy away from the notion that The Art of Podcasting: From Planning to Profits aligns with the purpose for which God has created her.
“I am and was created to be a catalyst of information to be used for the betterment of others,” said Acker Moore, a 1999 graduate of Savannah’s Robert W. Groves High School who holds dual Bachelor Degrees from Georgia Southern University. “I intentionally provide the tools and information as well as the transparency and testimony for others to know and understand what is possible. I also believe that everything we do should be documented as it can one day serve as a reference for someone else.”
Acker has announced that her next book, “I AM RESILIENT,” is currently in the works and is scheduled to be released in Summer 2021.

As for her newly-produced book, Acker Moore said:
“I felt and I knew it was not time as there was still more to be done in the realm of podcasting. While I am far from an expert, I knew I needed to do more, say more, and show more before I launched this project. After completing those things and the book, I struggled with a launch date. I was sitting in my writing chair and the Lord said, ‘Why not on podcasting day?’ Surely, in my mind, there was no such day. I Googled it and, low and behold, it exists.”
And, the rest, as they say, was history.
And, just like that, Acker Moore’s latest project has come full circle.
“Just when I was revamping the fourth quarter of my podcast, (God) hits me with an amazing opportunity,” Acker Moore said.
Talk about making remarkable use of her time while quarantining.
Emphatically, to put it more precisely.
