REAPING A HARVEST
In case you don’t know her, Caroline Liggins would like to introduce herself.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Liggins, 39, could be appropriately described as a woman of many hats, considering she boasts a solid and immeasurable professional resume, one that includes her assuming the roles as an author, a credible Mindset Coach, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), CPR Instructor, Licensed Insurance Agent and, most recently, a Certified Crematory Operator.
An empowerment extraordinaire in her own right, Liggins is a 1999 graduate of the historic Memphis Melrose High School. She would subsequently advance her education when she enrolled at the Tennessee Technology Center of Memphis.
Consequently, Liggins enrolled at Southwest Tennessee Community College, where she is currently pursuing an Associate Degree in the school’s tradition-rich Nursing program to complement her venture as owner and chief executive officer of Express CPR Memphis, credible CPR, AED (or Automated External Defibrillators), and First Aid training center that is governed by American Heart Association.
An LPN stint that dates back to 2004, Liggins has become a fixture in her selected line of work, largely because she’s one of many braving the frontline and taking care of a variety of patients, particularly those who are battling the COVID-19 outbreak.
Liggins, in fact, “had the honor” of traveling to New York City during the initial wave of the global pandemic crisis, a life-altering, once-in-a-lifetime experience that has fueled her desire to compose her first book, which is scheduled to be released in January 2020.
To her credit, it’s safe to assume that Liggins is a proverbial risk-taker for all the reasons, considering the knowledge she acquired amid the coronavirus pandemic has prompted her to change up her area of study.
“I also remained a full-time student taking on yet another (task), changing my profession from healthcare to death care,” Liggins told Making Headline News.
Having owned Express CPR Memphis since 2014, Liggins has become an advocate for customarily educating the community on the importance of insurance, investments, and making funeral arrangements before the death of loved ones.
“My competitive drive was planted in me as a child,” Liggins said of her assortment of milestones and achievements. “I have always wanted to better myself and to become a better Caroline.”
Much to her delight, Liggins’ notable road to success comes amid humble beginnings.
“There have been many roadblocks, both physically and mentally, that I had to knock down,” Liggins recalls. “I consider myself an overachiever, and I am passionate about assisting others achieve goals and (to help to) recognize and push through roadblocks.”
Much like she did, especially now that she has been blessed mightily to walk in the divine purpose for which she was created.
