BUT GOD: Washington, D.C. area writer Dr. Mary J. Huntley’s encounter with Holy Spirit gives way to a successful authorship tenure

BORN TO WIN
Dr. Mary J. Huntley was only keeping it real.
But what she had ultimately discovered, however, is that God had other plans — plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future.
As Dr. Huntley vividly recalls, it all unfolded on September 16, 2015.
“The Holy Spirit led me to begin writing,” Dr. Huntley, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable, life-altering developments that led to her rise as an accomplished author. “I had not planned to write a book at that time, but God had words of encouragement that I needed to share. Though this encourager needed someone to encourage her, God asked me to forget about my challenges and encourage others. So, I began to write as the Holy Spirit delivered a divine download of my inaugural project.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.
That Dr. Huntley wasted little time submitting to God’s will as writer has benefited her mightily, considering her featured written work, Don’t Quit, has emerged an international bestseller.

“Today, it continues to globally impact lives,” Dr. Huntley said of a book that has been as good advertised.
Released officially on May 13, 2019, Dr. Huntley’s Don’t Quit comes amid “several challenges” that surfaced in her life to try her faith.
“My manuscript flatlined and remained on life support (figuratively) for a minute,” Dr. Huntley, who resides in the Washington, D.C. area, recalls. “But I refused to quit because God had given me this assignment and He is so faithful.”
To her credit, Dr. Huntley’s fervent act of obedience had given way to her initial book being dubbed an international bestseller just days after its ceremonious release — May 21, 2019, to put it more precisely.
“To God be the glory,” Dr. Huntley customarily utters whenever she thinks of the goodness of Jesus, particularly as a progressive, crafty author, one who has since become become a nine-time bestselling and four-time international bestseller.
“With God, all things are possible,” said Dr. Huntley, referring to the familiar Biblical passage that is Matthew 19:26. “I am constantly empowering my target audience with high-octane motivation and goal-setting strategies that allow them to reach their desired results.”
Not to be outdone, Dr. Huntley in 2018 “decided to take a leap of faith and followed the Holy Spirit’s leading” by becoming a co-author for a notable collaboration, a milestone that eventually led to her becoming a recipient for an Indy Author Legacy Award the following year.
And, just recently, Dr. Huntley joined forces with fellow author Dr. Jennifer Jones Bryant to produce Step Into Leadership Greatness: Leadership Isn’t Just A Title.
A highly-anticipated anthology that is scheduled to debut in March 2021 and foreword by Dr. Huntley, this forthcoming project has already created a national buzz that figures to linger for some time.
