And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:29 NKJV)
DESTINED TO PROSPER
To her credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, Shontina Gladney has been blessed to have earned several degrees, certifications, and licenses.
Nothing, she acknowledged, compares to what she appropriately describes as “the life education, experiences and disciplines I have gained.”
To grasp a thorough understanding of why Gladney has deemed it essential to steadfastly take such a uniquely amazing approach as it pertains to achieving success, look no further than the rash of hurdles through which she’s been blessed to clear during the course of her life.
“I have over 1,000 excuses — including recently being diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer — why I should not assist others and just quit, but I chose to not use any of them,” Gladney told Making Headline News this week. “In 2009, when I was going through one of the most challenging times and experiences of my lifetime, God told me to say yes to Him and He will take care of the no’s. God said, ‘If you want help, you have to help someone else. Everything an entrepreneur needed from me, I was able to provide through the giving of my talents, resources, and gifts to a tune of over $1 million giving away since 2009 and growing.”

All things considered, Gladney doesn’t shy away from the notion that her rise to success comes amid humble beginnings, particularly the commendable strides she’s made in the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship.
Gladney, 50, is the mastermind behind the SGGN Group and Entrepreneurs Society, LLC, her Milwaukee business and lifestyle coaching company for home-based business owners that has become a fixture for network marketing professionals and emerging entrepreneurs.
Generally, Gladney’s Entrepreneurs Society, LLC has become a globally-acclaimed game changer, of sorts, in large part because it customarily practices and teaches collaborative economics at a grassroot level, she said, all the while bringing out what she describes as “the master lifestyle coach in you to enhance what you are already doing through a proven, non-disruptive and integral business model and system.”
An accomplished Certified Executive Coach who’s widely known as “The Master of Collaborative Economics,” Gladney’s company services people and ranging in age four to 78.
As Gladney recalls, during the infancy stages of her business endeavor in 2005, amongst the things she discovered was that there were no competitors for the company by which God has strategically assigned her to establish.
Still, that didn’t merely discourage her from broadening her horizon with God, her Helper, steering the way.
“God simply said to build the people and they will build the businesses, so that is what I set out to do,” Gladney explained. “Without a blueprint, I first gained my certification from the top coaching certifier based out of Kentucky. As I began walking the vision out, I created my own competition by inspiring others to do what I was doing and creating, from the platforms that were given to individuals to share their stories, providing luxury office space with lake front views for 50 percent below market value, affording entrepreneurs the opportunity, to showcasing their businesses at events that drew in ranging from 25 prospective customers to over 4,500.”
Not bad for a thriving, progressive company that, to this day, continues to flourish in ways unimaginable, a trend by which Gladney fully welcomes.
“What I love most about my business as of this date is watching those individuals I have coached not only run after their dreams and succeed, but also go on to inspire and assist others,” Gladney said. “I love that we are teaching first generation entrepreneurs to seasoned entrepreneurs how they can make a living while living and not have their future generations start all over at square one.
“I love teaching entrepreneurs how they can create an enterprise that will outlast them without disrupting what they are building. What I love about my business is that I get to hear and, most of the times, meet their why while being an integral part of them scaling their dreams to reality.”
A company that has acquired sustained success, considering its global reach spans 30 countries — and counting — Gladney is thoroughly convinced her venture’s best and brightest days are well ahead of it.
“My personal mission is to teach while showing those who have had gut-wrenching punches or life altering situations in life that restoration, recovery, and wealth are their birthright, while assisting them to walk out their road map to get there with less hard life lessons, regaining their time, personal and financial freedom, and all without having massive monetary loss like I had on my journey of becoming the ultimate entrepreneur,” Gladney said.
Inspired by her late grandmother, Rosie Stevens, her mother, Gladys Magee, her late grandfather, Dr. Reverend Isaac Hopgood, and “every single member or coaching client who entrusted me with being in their business birthing room as they prepared to deliver their manifestation of business that started as a seed” to move forward with her entrepreneurial aspirations, Gladney is appreciative of the notion that she’s fulfilling the divine purpose for which she was created.
All the while conquering Stage 2 breast cancer in the process.
“My pledge to my beautiful children is that my ceiling will be their floor,” Gladney said. “And I leave every emerging leader with this: Gain the capacity within yourself to love individuals where they are but choose not to leave them there if they have a desire to change. Rewire your brain to get rid of the stinking thinking and how you view money, especially those doing Ministry in the Marketplace.
“God wired us for success and abundance, the world re-wired us for greed, lack, failure, and poverty,” Gladney added. “Lastly, know the difference between fault versus responsibility. It may not be your fault, but it is your responsibility to create your own happiness and life.”
After all, nothing, she emphasized, compares to what she appropriately describes as the life education, experiences, and disciplines she’s gained.
With God, her Helper, steering the way.
