Powered by the motto, “Driving Down Employment Rate One Student At A Time,” the Texas Advancement Center has become a fixture for offering a variety of notable programs, many of which are geared specifically toward high school students, post-secondary graduates, and unemployed and underemployed adults in the workforce. Generally, this institution — which is run by CEO Marion Skinner — customarily offers a variety of what is known as Teen and Commercial Driving programs.
Interestingly, Texas Advancement Center has partnered with Baylor Scott and White to offer in-demand medical programs at its facility, according to a detailed introduction of this institution at https://tac.thelonestarlocal.com/about-us/.
“From the moment you arrive and long after you leave, you will benefit from the people you meet, the services we provide, and a supportive environment to help you achieve your goals,” said a spokesperson for Texas Advancement Center. “(We will) provide you with guidance and direction regarding job searching strategies, resume writing, and interviewing best practices. Although employment opportunities hinge on various factors and are not guaranteed, we are committed to keeping you motivated, focused, and equipped for a successful career.”
In essence, Texas Advancement Center’s education services are primarily geared toward young adults between the ages of 17 and 24, vocational training scholarships, equipping students to be financially fit, aiding individuals to develop a strategic career pathway, and providing one-on-one job search assistance.
Those who are potentially eligible to participate in TAC’s program are:
