But without faith it is impossible to please Him. For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV)
GOD’S FAITH STEPPER
As Dr. Josephine Harris vividly recalls, her quest for delving off into authorship arena this year was spearheaded in large part by a rather life-altering March 2020 sermon.
The topic: “Faith In The Supernatural Church,” which was preached by Kevin Rogers, the Senior Pastor of City of Faith Christian Center in Tacoma, Washington.
“I remembered we did a Daniel Fast while learning about praying in the unknown Tongue,” Dr. Harris, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that contributed to her craft a relatively new author. “Still, to this day, he continuous to preach and teach about supernatural faith. So, this when I knew I had to step my faith up and believe that God never fails me.”
Much to the delight of Dr. Harris, God undoubtedly has bestowed upon her supernatural favor, most notably in a year in which the Savannah, Georgia native has engaged in five collaborative book projects.
Arguably one of the most talked about books is Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by St. Mary’s, Georgia-based International Motivational Speaker and Bestselling Author Carleeka Basnight-Menendez.

A spiritually-powering, life-altering written work that has already created a national buzz, Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers is comprised of 90 co-authors from the “north, south, east and west,” Basnight-Menendez told MHN this week.
For Dr. Harris, she’s especially grateful of the notion that she diligently stepped out on faith, a trend that subsequently has benefited her mightily, given she has emerged as a best-selling author.
“I never imagined of becoming a best-selling author,” Dr. Harris said. “But God showed me otherwise, according to Ephesians 3:20: God can do anything, you know, far more than you could ever image or guess or request in your wildest dreams.”
Interestingly, Dr. Harris was introduced to the golden opportunity of joining Basnight-Menendez’s first coordinated anthology through the Women Who Pray (or WWP) Facebook Group.
“I was blessed and thrilled that God presented this book to me, so I had to be obedient and move forward with this book project led by phenomenal woman of God, Carleeka Basnight-Menendez,” Dr. Harris said. “It happened so suddenly and got finished suddenly. I said, ‘I am and will be obedient in what God wants me to do.’
“God has opened so many doors for me,” Dr. Harris continued. “As stated previously, you must be obedient and willing to let God come into your life. I want people to know that no matter what the circumstance or situation may be, you must be obedient and believe that faith changes all things through Jesus Christ. Believe or not, God wants you to dream big. He wants you to base your dream not on what you think you can do but on what you think God can do.”

Once word spread of Dr. Harris’ much-anticipated milestone as a contributing author for Basnight-Menendez’s Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, she had become the beneficiary of a rash of favorable feedback.
“I received a lot of positive feedback from people around the world,” Dr. Harris said. “This book has its share of exceptional ways to reach the multitudes of people, and I believe united prayer with others will move mountains. It is what has chosen me to do, so I am a vessel of God supernatural plan.”
To her credit, coupled with the divine purpose for which she was created, 2021 has been a banner year of sorts, for Dr. Harris, who’s also apart of four other collaborative written works:
- Visionary Dorothy Wilson’s Living My Faith Out Loud, released in April 2021
- Visionary Dr. Yolanda Jerry’s My Walk Past Hell, which debuts in June 2021
- Visionary Pastor Paulette Harper’s Resilience in Hard Times, which debuts in July 2021 and,
- Visionary Tiffany D. Bell’s Parenting With Uncommon, which also debuts in July 2021
At least one more book is likely forthcoming by year’s end, Dr. Harris told MHN, adding that she’s been presented with various speaking engagements since making her authorship debut.
“Later this year, I am going to be obedient and finish my book, whereby I have been back-and-forth with the title,” she said. “But just this year, God presented this title in six-to-10 unusual ways in rare situations and in unknown people that were presented in my life. Also, I am planning to write a self-help book for mental health professionals.

“I thrive and strive on the phrase, ‘Faith Over Fear,’” Dr. Harris added. “And, I had to be willing and openly invite God to come into my life through my soul, my mind, and my body — I had to be spiritual ready for what God has for me. I called it supernatural Faith.”
Now we know why, thanks in large part to that spiritually-empowering March 2020 sermon.
