HER SISTER’S KEEPER
Rhonda Williams-Turner was only being transparent, was only coming across as forthright as she could possibly could.
“It was more than me with issues that occurred in life,” Williams-Turner, during a weekend interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable, life-altering developments that had ultimately given way to her having spearheaded her highly-anticipated authorship project. “So, joining others was very helpful to put my story out there.”
For Williams-Turner, it is a spiritually-empowering, emotionally-driven story that, by all accounts, has altered the overall landscape of her life for all the right reasons.
A Vero Beach, Florida native who resides in nearby Delray Beach, Williams-Turner is the beloved visionary whom, to her credit, has carved out yet another dose of success with the much-anticipated release of Sister 2 Sister: Untold Stories of Courage, Connection and Community, her celebrated anthology that debuted in June 2021.
A remarkably compelling written work that is comprised of 16 co-authors, Williams-Turner’s Sister 2 Sister: Untold Stories of Courage, Connection and Community strategically shines the spotlight on a gallery of devout black women of faith, each of whom deemed it essential to collaborate to create a masterpiece that’s filled with their individual journey and experiences with sisterhood, as mentioned in a detailed introduction of this book at Amazon.com.

“In this adventure called living, we are often met with the detours of challenge, adversity, and doubt,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Williams-Turner’s Sister 2 Sister: Untold Stories of Courage, Connection and Community. “Within these pages, their words will nourish, renew, satisfy, and enlighten you on the intricacies of how black women are required to navigate through relationships with other women to maintain accountability, support, and trustworthiness. It is through this diverse collection, one will find that the power of sisters not only connects us, but celebrates us in all that we strive to be as women. Enter their stories. Let the enchantment of their words resonate within your mind. Be inspired.”
A collaborative book that is accompanied by 157 pages in length, Williams-Turner said she initially grasped the vision to orchestrate her anthology some 11 years ago.
Much to her delight, coupled with the divine calling on her life, her newly-released book has been as good as advertised since its recent launch.
Approximately six months prior to the debut of Williams-Turner’s Sister 2 Sister: Untold Stories of Courage, Connection and Community, Williams-Turner witnessed her authorship debut come full circle with the release of I Am A Woman Empowered: Stories of Strength, Resiliency, & Triumphs, a collaborative project that is spearheaded by visionary Angela Lewis.
Accompanied by 266 pages, I Am A Woman Empowered: Stories of Strength, Resiliency, & Triumphs, 26 co-authors vividly reminds readers that the true power of a woman lies in her ability to rise up from anything, according to an in-depth synopsis of this book at Amazon.com.

“No matter what, we make it happen,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Lewis’ I Am A Woman Empowered. “(This anthology introduces) 26 women who are determined to rise above the struggles, the abuse, the pain, the addictions, the fear, the grief, the low self-esteem, the depression, the prejudices, the rejections, and the hurt to become empowered. Through our decisions to become empowered, we encourage and inspire other women to tell their stories and let their voices be heard, so that they too can experience empowerment for themselves.”
Moreover, Williams-Turner emphasizes, among other things, that I Am A Woman Empowered appropriately empowers women to steadfastly become:
- Empowered Mentally
- Empowered Emotionally
- Empowered Spiritually
- Empowered Financially
- Empowered Physically
- Empowered in Business and,
- Empowered in Relationships
When asked in what ways is I Am A Woman Empowered apart of the purpose for which God has created her, Williams-Turner said: “(This book is ideal for) empowering women and others to strive for change and a purpose, no matter what the challenges are.”
Interestingly enough, Williams-Turner has announced that Book No. 3 is forthcoming, most notably an anthology she describes as a women business directory entitled, Black Women Business Connect.

“Too often we have no knowledge of black women businesses around the world or in our community, but most of the time, we just do not support each other, understanding that professionalism makes a difference,” Williams-Turner said. “Image traveling with a directory of businesses in the location you will travel. “Black Women Business Connect will give you an opportunity to become an annual member and become a part of the directory and book as a co-author.”
