Boston author Pamela Reece’s “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” deemed a much-anticipated ‘must read’

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10 KJV)

PURPOSED FOR ADVERSITY

TURNING POINT — To her credit, Pamela Reece’s authorship talents have come full circle, given she is the mastermind behind the spiritually-empowering book entitled, “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage,” an awe-inspiring project that, according to this Boston-area writer, essentially aligns with the purpose for which she was created.

Regardless of how discouraging or dysfunctional things had become, say this about Pamela Reece:

She was determined not to faint (or give up) in her day (present time) of adversity.
“On various occasions, I’d be in the company of friends, sharing portions of my story, growing up in a dysfunctional setting and the adversities I had to overcome,” Reece, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that fueled her desire to compose her latest book.
“Initially, the conversations were just a means to socialize and share my testimony of God’s faithfulness to me through the years,” Reece continued. “I would go from one experience to the next as my friends listened intently…so much that they strongly suggested I write a book.  I quickly dismissed the idea of writing, because it seemed so daunting.”
All things considered, amongst the things that Reece had ultimately discovered was that God had other ideas, particularly with her regards to her immeasurable gifts as a writer.

To her credit, Reece’s authorship talents have come full circle, given she is the mastermind behind the spiritually-empowering book entitled, “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage,” an awe-inspiring project that, according to this Boston-area writer, essentially aligns with the purpose for which she was created.

“Whenever God sends a deliverer, the opposition will wage war so that the deliverer doesn’t walk in his or her purpose,” said Reece, a devout woman of faith whom, given her array of hardships, is sounding as confident as she’s ever been in quite some time. “The opposition knows the Deliverer if given free course, will powerfully impact lives and generations to come.  So adversity was sent to smother my identity and purpose in the earth, yet every trial was sent to shape my personality but only for the better.  What seemed unfair, unjust and horrific, God has turned it for my good.”

Especially through “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage,” this spiritually-equipping written work that, much to Reece’s delight, was birthed amid all sorts of adversity that emerged in her life to challenge her faith.

Still, come hell or high water, this Christian-based author didn’t merely allow her faith to waver.

If nothing, she deemed it essential to become even more intentional, particularly from a spiritually perspective, considering she steadfastly made it point to draw closer to God in the process.

THE PROVERBS 24:10 FACTOR — “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” is spiritually-equipping written work that, much to Reece’s delight, was birthed amid all sorts of adversity

Talk about demonstrating enough spiritual maturity by simply embracing adversity.

“Without the adversity, I would not have the advantage today of sharing this interview with the world,” Reece said. “Statistics tell us that eight out of 10 rapes are committed by someone the victim knows.  Every nine minutes, child protective service agencies find evidence of sexual abuse.”

Interesting, Reece disclosed some other notable facts to better support her purpose for assembling “I Chose The Good: Turning  Adversity Into Advantage.”

A native of Boston, Reece’s “I Chose the Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” is her personal memoir that details in length her growing up in a home of severe dysfunctionality and adversity.  This book, in fact, goes into great length of how she was exposed to abandonment, alcoholism, verbal abuse, and sexual molestation.

“I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” is Reece’s first published book and, earlier this week, she told Making Headline News that after the forthcoming re-launch of “I Chose the Good,” more literary works will surface in the pipeline before year’s end.

“Today and the future are mine to dream, describe, and define,” Reece said. “I am particularly passionate about those who are a little older like myself, who know that they’re made for more and have an insatiable desire to pursue a lifelong dream and touch the world.”

To her credit, she’s doing just that — regardless of how discouraging or dysfunctional things might seem.

Ex-spouse of NFL player, author Angela Marshall’s autobiography inspiring others to ‘get in the game of life’

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES ANGELA MARSHALL

Every so often, Angela Marshall fields the question as if she expected it.

“After being asked numerous times about the supposed lifestyle of the rich and famous, I decided to pen my truth about reality, rags, and riches,” Marshall said.

During a recent interview with Making Headline News, Marshall, an Augusta, Georgia-based author and former wife of a professional athlete, spoke at length about her assortment of experiences as a devoted spouse to a wealthy NFL player in her latest book entitled, “The Story And Life Of An Ex-NFL Wife: Reality To Rags To Riches.” Reality To Rags To Riches: The Story And Life Of An Ex-NFL Wife.”

GAME CHANGER — During a recent interview with Making Headline News, Angela Marshall, an Augusta, Georgia-based author and former wife of a professional athlete, spoke at length about her assortment of experiences as a devoted spouse to a wealthy NFL player in her latest book entitled, “The Story And Life Of An Ex-NFL Wife: Reality To Rags To Riches.” Reality To Rags To Riches: The Story And Life Of An Ex-NFL Wife.”

A book that was officially released in November 2017, Marshall’s autobiography depicts what she appropriately describes as “this football life,” a life-changing trend that had afforded her extraordinary opportunities, exposure to life’s options, and blessings untold, according to a detail breakdown of her book at Amazon.com.

As Marshall vividly explained, such a unique life had filled what she has dubbed her “personal playbook,” one that was accompanied by the wisdom to call what she refers to as “an audible, pass, run,” even a proverbial “go for the two-point conversion as I lived each day,” she explained.

FIRST QUARTER — A book that was officially released in November 2017, Marshall’s autobiography depicts what she appropriately describes as “this football life,” a life-changing trend that had afforded her extraordinary opportunities, exposure to life’s options, and blessings untold, according to a detail breakdown of her book at Amazon.com.

“Yes, I observed the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat from the stands and sidelines,” Marshall continued while sharing a synopsis of latest book. “Most importantly, I beheld strength, courage and purpose. And those qualities molded me into the person I am today. I got off the bench after merely existing and got into the game of living.”

A book Marshall began composing sometime in October 2016, this accomplished writer needed just shy of a year to complete an informative written document she says is a thorough perspective of how she felt while living what she describes as a “life of lack,” particularly through the public’s thought whereby she was, by all accounts, living a life of lavish.

PERSONAL SUPER BOWL — As Marshall vividly explained, such a unique life had filled what she has dubbed her “personal playbook,” one that was accompanied by the wisdom to call what she refers to as “an audible, pass, run,” even a proverbial “go for the two-point conversion as I lived each day,” she explained.

While some of the immediate feedback has been favorable, Marshall also acquired her share of backlash since the release of her second book.

“A handful of people have criticized me, saying I am exploiting my ex-husband’s former pro-career to make money,” said Marshall who, in November 2016, made her authorship debut with the release of Lust, Lessons, Love and Life. “A few had no idea that I was suffering in silence during that period in my life, and others have said they still want money, fame, and the experience.”

Despite the array of mixed reactions surrounding her latest book, Marshall doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s undoubtedly fulfilling her divine purpose through a newly-erected project, one that is accompanied by God’s endorsement.

After all, if God said it, that settles it.

“The Biblical scripture says that tables are prepared for us,” Marshall said. “I’m exhorting folks to feast daily from the tables of promises, potential, power, and prosperity from God. Also, to get off the bench and get in the game of life.

“Without giving too many details from the book, I had quite a few lessons that I needed to learn as well as continue growing through my struggles to strength,” Marshall continued. “Being able to tell my truth has and is setting myself and others free.”

FIRST AND 10 — A book Marshall began composing sometime in October 2016, this accomplished writer needed just shy of a year to complete an informative written document she says is a thorough perspective of how she felt while living what she describes as a “life of lack,” particularly through the public’s thought whereby she was, by all accounts, living a life of lavish.

Having announced that other books are forthcoming, Marshall describes her itinerary as mostly steady, thanks in large part to what she labels her “transparent platform” about her life.

“I have speaking opportunities or have author appearances at least three times a month for various businesses and organizations,” Marshall said.

In all likelihood, the possibility exist that more opportunities to share of and promote her book could very well come to fruition, especially considering the 2018 NFL season officially begins in the coming days.

Said Marshall: “Life has taken me on a journey, which took three major turns, each leading to a road of exploration and discovery, each crafting me into the person who would become skillful at using life’s compass in navigating new directions and negotiating what’s best for me:

IN THE RED ZONE — Having announced that other books are forthcoming, Marshall describes her itinerary as mostly steady, thanks in large part to what she labels her “transparent platform” about her life.

Reality is a place that forced me to face life early on as is. The seeds planted during that period are directly responsible for my growth. All of my core values were established. No matter how far I strayed, the experiences throughout that time, prepared me for rags and riches.

Rags taught me humility, agility and possibility. I learned to be grateful when I am served, but more importantly, to be willing to serve others. The events during this period instilled fearless faith that grounded me and prepared me for true Riches.

AFTER FURTHER REVIEW — In all likelihood, the possibility exist that more opportunities to share of and promote her book could very well come to fruition, especially considering the 2018 NFL season officially begins in the coming days.

Riches are not about what, it’s about whom. For me, that means family, friends and moments. They are true riches, which are irreplaceable. If I can replace it, it is not a true treasure.”

Well said by this brilliantly gifted author, fielding the question as if she expected it.

Once again.

Delaware-based author Prophetess Vanessa Johnson Brinkley advancing the kingdom mightily through her new books

“A MAKING HEADLINE NEWS SUPER BOWL WEEKEND EXCLUSIVE”

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the first of Making Headline News’ two-part series on Delaware author and businesswoman Vanessa Johnson Brinkley.

Just past the bottom of the 11 o’clock hour EST Friday night, Prophetess Vanessa Johnson Brinkley took to her Facebook page to enlighten her 4,900-plus social media friends about the latest developments surrounding her success as an accomplished author.

HANDPICKED BY GOD — To her distinctly unique credit, Vanessa Johnson Brinkley is steadfastly going to great lengths to help other believers connect with the purpose for which God created them, mostly through her books, Unlocking The Gift Of Salvation and Walking In My Identity.

“Family, friends, and the Body of Christ. My husband and I are releasing our new books, and we want everyone to get this good news into their hands and into their spirits,” Johnson Brinkley, a Delaware resident, wrote. “We’re sowing seeds back into the Kingdom. Please don’t miss your chance of investing into the Kingdom.”

To grasp a thorough concept of why Johnson Brinkley deems it imperative to routinely devise ways to advance the kingdom — particularly through her gift as an author — look no further than two previous books she’s written, both of which are transforming lives, thus drawing the masses closer to Christ.

“There were so many women reaching out to me to help them find themselves and wanting to know their purpose as well as to know the depth of salvation beyond the born-again experience,” Johnson Brinkley said during an interview this week with Making Headline News.

To her distinctly unique credit, Johnson Brinkley is steadfastly going to great lengths to help other believers connect with the purpose for which God created them, mostly through her books, Unlocking The Gift Of Salvation and Walking In My Identity.

Johnson Brinkley’s initial book, which is currently on the market, provides detailed analysis and facts on the gift of salvation that was given to us to open, explore and experience, most notably what she describes as the doctrine of man and religious teachings taught us — or, as she so eloquently says, “to just unravel the bowtie (or the born-again experience) of the Gift and not to open the package.”

Not only that, in Johnson Brinkley’s Unlocking The Gift Of Salvation, she appropriately uncovers what are known as detrimental truths about the gift of salvation.

“This book leaves you in a position for the Holy Spirit to teach you on how to unlock what’s in the gift of salvation package,” says a spokesperson for Johnson Brinkley’s book in a formal description at https://www.barnesandnoble.com/.

Interestingly, this New York City native began composing Unlocking the Gift of Salvation in May 2015 and needed a little more than two years to complete it.

STAY TUNED — Besides Unlocking The Gift Of Salvation, Johnson Brinkley is the catalyst of Walking In My Identity, a co-authored and inspiring written document that scheduled to be released in March 2018.

“For so many years, we have been bound by just the born-again experience of this gift and guess what? This is your season and moment in time to uncover the precious jewels of such a powerful gift,” Johnson Brinkley emphasized in a description of her book at https://www.barnesandnoble.com/. “Through this powerful book, you will be ignited with a Holy Ghost fire and boldness that will cause you to not be so easily shaken in this world. Come let’s go and uncover what has long been waiting for you!”

Besides Unlocking The Gift Of Salvation, Johnson Brinkley is the catalyst of Walking In My Identity, a co-authored and inspiring written document that is scheduled to be released in March 2018.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS EXPOSED — Johnson Brinkley’s initial book, which is currently on the market, provides detailed analysis and facts on the gift of salvation that was given to us to open, explore and experience, most notably what she describes as the doctrine of man and religious teachings taught us — or, as she so eloquently says, “to just unravel the bowtie (or the born-again experience) of the Gift and not to open the package.”

“(In) Walking In My Identity, my chapter entitled, ‘Mistaken Identity, Lost Identity, Resurrected Identity: There Is Resurrection In Tragedies,’ were started in October 2017 and finished in December 2017,” said Johnson Brinkley, providing her readers with a preview of what they can expect in her forthcoming project.

By and large, amongst the things about which Johnson Brinkley is thoroughly convinced is that the purpose for which she assembled her books have — and are — being fulfilled.

“There is so much more to salvation than the born again experience,” Johnson Brinkley said. “There is life where you experience nothing missing and nothing broken in spite of what’s going on around you.  For Walking In My Identity, the divine message from my chapter is to not allow the tragedies in your life to define who you are.”

DESTINY STEPS — By and large, amongst the things about which Johnson Brinkley is thoroughly convinced is that the purpose for which she assembled her books have — and are — being fulfilled.

When asked to assess the feedback she’s garnered by way of her books, Johnson Brinkley said, “Unlocking The Gift of Salvation has garnered life changing feedback. (One reader said): ‘It has opened my eyes to things I thought I knew but really didn’t connect the true meanings of the word.  I am equipped and dressed for success! My armor is on and full speed ahead! Thank you for all the encouraging words and testimonials! I was blind and now I see!’”

Also, with a few scheduled public appearances during which she will promote her books, Johnson Brinkley announced that four additional books are on the horizon and are scheduled to hit the market by year’s end.

SHE AIN’T DONE — With a few scheduled public appearances during which she will promote her books, Johnson Brinkley announced that four additional books are on the horizon and are slated to hit the market by year’s end.

These books are:

The Fight Is Fixed (Book Collaboration)

Get Me To Midnight

#Rediscoveringme: Kingdom Access and

The Fight Is Fixed: “Exposure.”

“These books help to birth and bring about the purpose in my life to help other hurting, dis-attached and broken women,” said Johnson Brinkley, explaining how her books are in alignment with the purpose for which God has created her. “They are my life testimonies of how to overcome and live life victoriously. These books help me to be a prophetic voice to a nation of women.”

To God be the glory.

Atlanta-area author Anika Ennett heeds advice of stepfather, assembles three compelling books

As the old catchphrase goes, “Mom knows best.”

For Anika Ennett, she can greatly attest that perhaps “Stepfather knows best” as well.

TRIO OF SUCCESS — Regardless of her circumstances at the time, what mattered, really, is that Virginia-based Author Ennett not only heeded the advice of her stepfather, but she took his words and wisdom and essentially ran with them. So much, in fact, that she has managed to author not one, not two, but three books.

Consider, for instance, how many years ago, Ennett recalls vividly an in-depth conversation she had with her stepfather whom, much to her delight, played an integral role with regards to helping her connect with her vision as an accomplished author.

“During that conversation, he said, “You should write a book one day,’” Ennett, who resides in Atlanta, said this week during an interview with Making Headline News. “And I said, ‘I have no idea how to write a book.’ And he said, ‘Just write…don’t worry about format, just write.’  Fast forward many years later and the thought came back up during a time when things were not at their best.”

Regardless of her circumstances at the time, what mattered, really, is that Ennett not only heeded the advice of her stepfather, but she took his words and wisdom and essentially ran with them.

So much, in fact, that she has managed to author not one, not two, but three books.

In June 2015, for instance, she witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, He S.A.W. Me!  Saved, Anointed & Walks With Me, a compelling written document that depicts a vital chapter in Ennett’s life, most notably the assortment of challenges she endured during the past three decades or so. In a detailed synopsis of Ennett’s book at Amazon.com, it reveals that her slew of testimonies surfaces largely as a result of her walk through what she describes as many dark days, not knowing who she was, all while pressing and navigating her way through the pain of rejection on many levels — low self-esteem being one of them — en route to her fully connecting with a newfound disposition on life (most notably what she labels a new perspective of how God sees her).

Then in September 2017, she authored the book entitled, Sometimes Life Has No Chill, which is a rather intriguing, provocative devotional dedicated to teenage girls.

According to an Amazon.com spokesperson for Ennett’s Sometimes Life Has No Chill, this book is widely regarded as an interactive, daily devotional, of sorts, one that addresses real life issues, all while offering solutions and allowing youths to reflect on their decisions, thus taking accountability for their own actions.

“I want our youth to get in the habit of thinking situations completely through and making informed decisions when it comes to their lives,” Ennett said of her second book.

Then there is Ennett’s latest book entitled, The Struggle Is Real: Healing For Survival, which officially made its presence on the market just last month.

“Just when you thought you had it all together, you know that you have changed, because you have the scars to prove it,” Ennett writes in a description of her latest book at Amazon.com. “Now, you’re ready to go forward in life in your marriage, business, ministry, job etc., but something else happens. Not only are you angry because you feel betrayed, but you’re confused because you are feeling some of those old emotions from the past that you knew you had taken care of.”

With three books — and counting — under her belt, Ennett doesn’t shy away from the notion that she is presently walking in the purpose for which God created her.

After all, mom knows best.

And so does stepdad as she had ultimately discovered.

“I still didn’t know where to start, because I was broken inside and I remember constantly praying and asking God to send someone in my life that could teach me more about God and He did just that,” Ennett, a native of Philadelphia, explained.

GOD’S SPOKESPERSON — As for the direct messages she aims to send to her reading audience, Ennett said, “One of the most important messages that I’m trying to get across is that women don’t have to suffer in silence and shame.  Shame keeps most people from receiving healing and that is a lie straight from the enemy.  You may have heard (the saying) ‘We are only as sick as our secrets’ So often as women, we try to live up to the expectations of society, our spouses, family and will turn ourselves inside out, just to be accepted.  Women are emotional creatures and we absorb so much from the world and when you are not healed from past experiences, it results in a mess. “

Interesting, the more godly wisdom she acquired, the more she began to witness her gift for writing come to fruition.

“I met a strong woman of God that began to teach me about God and who helped me tremendously during some of the most challenging times in my life,” Ennett said. “The prophetess encouraged me, walked with me, and confirmed a lot of things about me and helped me to see the gifts that the Lord had given me. All it took was encouragement, teaching and building my relationship with God.”

As for the direct messages she aims to send to her reading audience, Ennett said, “One of the most important messages that I’m trying to get across is that women don’t have to suffer in silence and shame.

GOOD OLE DAD — Ennett recall vividly an in-depth conversation she had with her stepfather whom, much to her delight, played an integral with regards to helping her connect with her vision as an accomplished author.

“In addition to that, we want to fix everything and everybody but never want to fix ourselves,” Ennett continued. Unfortunately, sometimes we become martyrs and then become weighed down with the pressures of the world and then we don’t take time out to deal with the things that are tearing us down.”

When asked in what ways has her books become part of the purpose for which God has created her, Ennett, as forthrightly as she could be, wasted little time paying homage to her Creator.

“These books have taught me that I’m not a lost cause, neither are any other women that may be having a difficult time,” Ennett said. “The transparency that I display in my books foster an environment of understanding and it breaks the wall of shame down. My goal is to encourage other women to get healing and to stop hiding behind the pain.  The goal of the teen devotional is to open a dialogue between a daughter and her mother and guardian.”

Because after all, as the old catchphrase goes, “Mom knows best.”

Then aganin, for Anika Ennett, she can greatly attest that perhaps “Stepfather knows best” as well.

Four-time Amazon bestselling author Elona Washington making her presence felt courtesy of two awe-inspiring books

If you listen to Elona Washington talk long enough about her successful tenure as an accomplished, progressive author then, chances are, it wouldn’t take very long to grasp the notion that writing is something about which she had become passionate since she was too young to remember.

A TRUE INSPIRATION — A native of Washington, D. C., Author Elona Washington deemed it essential to finally share of her emotional, yet spiritually gut-checking experiences through her featured book entitled, From Ivy League To Stripper Life, a memoir that chronicles how her life spiraled out of control, coupled with the valiant lessons she learned along the way. Washington was also the catalyst of How Divorce Became My Deliverance, a September 2017 released anthology that Washington assembled along with a number of other accomplished authors.

“I was given the vision to tell my story as a kid and I would start but never finish,” Washington told Making Headline News during an interview this week. “I was too scared.”

Out of fairness to Washington, there is, by all accounts, a rather justifiable reason why she spent a better portion of her life gripped and saddled by fear.

“I’ve been a victim of child sex abuse since the age of five,” Washington said without hesitation. “The abuse first occurred in (Washington) D. C., and it happened again when my sister and I went to live with our mom in Princeton (New Jersey).”

As Washington vividly recalls, she encountered as many as 10 sexual abusers by the time she had turned 10 or, as she disclosed, men and boys from two different cities, all of whom never knew each other, a few of whom were well over 30 years of age.

A native of Washington, D. C., Washington deemed it essential to finally share of her emotional, yet spiritually gut-checking experiences through her featured book entitled, From Ivy League To Stripper Life, a memoir that chronicles how her life spiraled out of control, coupled with the valiant lessons she learned in the process.

BUY ELONA’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Ivy-League-Stripper-Life-ebook/dp/B01FYGZFKO

A 138-page written document that officially hit the market in June 2016, Washington’s From Ivy League To Stripper Life also recalls her assortment of childhood memories, most notably those true stories from within the walls of the dreaded strip club, as well as resourceful tips and life lessons she eloquently offers to every wife, mother, and single woman.

“In these pages, you may even discover that it’s possible what you’re going through has been assigned to you,” said a spokesperson in a detailed description of Washington’s book at Amazon.com.

STILL SHE RISE — Interestingly, Washington sensed that because of the constant sexual abuse she endured as a child, she wasn’t merely equipped to become a product of her environment, particularly as it relates to advancing her education on what many consider to be college’s biggest stage.

All things considered, Washington, a native of D. C., admittedly sensed that all of her sexual abuse encounters were self-manufactured.

“I thought the abuse was my fault,” Washington said with a straight face and without hesitation. “There was something about me that made men want to have sex with me. “I thought I wasn’t protected and favored by God, so and I was meant to be nothing but a stripper.”

Interestingly, Washington sensed that because of the constant sexual abuse, she wasn’t merely equipped to become a product of her environment, particularly as it relates to advancing her education on what many consider to be college’s biggest stage.

“I wasn’t smart like my Ivy League mom and stepdad,” Washington said. “My younger sister was just as smart and it made me feel like I didn’t belong.”

And then there is Washington’s latest book entitled, How Divorce Became My Deliverance, a September 2017 released anthology that Washington assembled along with a number of other accomplished authors.

BUY ELONA’S OTHER BOOK HERE: http://elonawashington.com/product/how-divorce-became-my-deliverance/

SIGN OF THINGS TO COME — A four-time award-winning bestselling author, Washington has announced that other books are on the horizon much sooner than later.

Generally, because researchers estimate that marriages have somewhere in the neighborhood of a 50 percent survival rate, Washington and eight other divorcees have joined forces to share how they collectively mourned the loss of their marriage and ultimately conquered their pain, as revealed in a detailed description of this 157-page anthology.

“As long as we have breath in our bodies, we will experience pain,” said Washington, explaining the divine message she aspires to send to her audience through her books. “The divine message is that you can live free from the pain of your past. We can’t run from it or suppress it. When you do, it shows up as anger, depression, etc., and that has the ability to affect every area of your life.”

After all, Washington specifically emphasized, chronic anger, coupled with resentment can greatly affect one’s physical health, thus causing heart disease, high blood pressure,  some form of a  stroke and, perhaps insomnia.

“Learning to let it go helps us to live freely,” Washington said.

When asked in what ways her books align with the purpose for which God has created her, Washington said, “There are no accidents. God chose me to go through it all. But He also gave me the strength and courage to endure and share my story to help others.”

More than anything, Washington reiterated, sharing her slew of experiences essentially infused within her the keen ability to break the dreaded generational curses that include, among other things, single motherhood and teen pregnancy.

SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE — When asked in what ways her books align with the purpose for which God has created her, Washington said, “There are no accidents. God chose me to go through it all. But He also gave me the strength and courage to endure and share my story to help others.”

“My daughter is married and (she and her husband) have yet to start a family,” Washington said. “I believe this was because I always practiced age-appropriate transparency with her. I taught her how to keep safe and to tell me if anyone made her feel uncomfortable. We always had a good relationship and she knew she could confide in me.”

A four-time Amazon award-winning bestselling author, Washington has announced that other books are on the horizon much sooner than later.

“I’m thinking about compiling another anthology and another book, but right now, I designed a course for survivors,” Washington said. “It’s called ‘Survivor’s Breakthrough,’ and is a system designed for survivors to find healing, strength and the power to live a life free from the pain of their past.”
