Andre Johnson December 29, 2021 5 min read

A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. (Proverbs 18:16 NIV)

WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE

EXPOWERED TO SUCCEED — A beloved empowerment extraordinaire in her own right, Dr. Jennifer Bryant has been named Making Headline News Woman of The Year for 2021, this after enjoying what undoubtedly was a memorable year for the longtime Maryland businesswoman and author.

Dr. Jennifer Jones Bryant was recently asked to sum up 2021.

To her credit, she fielded the question as if she expected it.
“I would call it my Year of Explosion,” Dr. Bryant said. “I approached each God-ordained assignment with excitement and laser focus.”
And, for these notable reasons, Dr. Bryant has come away with yet another illustrious milestone to add to her already massive list of accolades.
A beloved empowerment extraordinaire in her own right, Dr. Bryant has been named Making Headline News Woman of The Year for 2021, this after enjoying what undoubtedly was a memorable year for the longtime Maryland businesswoman and author.
And what a memorable year it was for Dr. Bryant, who disclosed to MHN five of her most cherished achievements in 2021.

Amongst her grandest exploits:

Dr. Bryant helped hundreds of people return to work or land promotions by partnering with the Maryland Small Business Development Centers, during which she held workshops to teach about resume and interview preparation.

“I was also featured on major media platforms such as Making Headline News, WTOP, WUSA Channel 9,” Dr. Bryant said.

SOLID SUPPORTING CAST —– Dr. Bryant acknowledged she is forever grateful to God for strategically setting her aside for His use. She’s also appreciative of a supporting cast that’s led by her husband, Anthony Gunter, and her daughters, Harmony and Jayla Bryant.

Also, she launched her first international bestseller anthology, Step Into Leadership Greatness, Leadership Isn’t Just a Title, with 13 industry experts and a motivational and driven foreword author and Strategic Advisor, Dr. Mary J. Huntley.

“Copies were sold in Africa, Europe, and the UK (United Kingdom), to name a few. Authors were featured on billboards from the West Coast to the East Coast,” Dr. Bryant said.

Interestingly enough, Dr. Bryant’s book garnered a No. 1 ranking in several categories (Business Mentoring & Coaching, Two Hour Education & Reference Short Reads, Education & Leadership, Business & Investing, and Business Life).

“And the most exciting part is reaching international bestseller (status),” she said.

LEADING BY EXAMPLE — Dr. Bryant is the founder and CEO of Reaching Within, An Empowerment Journey LLC.

Not to be outdone, Dr. Bryant was awarded Diversity, Equity, and Belonging Awards during the Sister Leaders Conference.

She also was a recipient of ACHI Magazine’s Author of the Year Award, as well awarded the Brainz CREA Global Awards hosted by Brainz Magazine, having earned mentions on a list that was comprised of Oprah Winfrey and Rob Angel.

Dr. Bryant’s other notable achievements include being named one of the 20 Top Coaches by VIP Global Magazine. In addition, she was a recipient for the Deborah C. Offer Bulgin Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence Business Award.
