TAKING DESTINY STEPS: Atlanta-area writer Sandy Moye on her ceremonious authorship debut: ‘This book helped me give birth to gifts that were laying stagnated’

VISION FOCUSED
Because of whom she is and because of where God is taking her, Sandy Moye has taken yet another massive step towards her destiny.
This step, much to her delight, has come by way of her immeasurable gift as an author.
“This is my first book, but surely not my last one,” Moye says without hesitation.
The book to which Moye is alluding is Focusing 2 Finish: 21 Day Inspirational Day Journey, her highly-anticipated, spiritually-empowered written work to which Moye grasped the vision to compose on April 16, 2019.
For Moye, a native of Albany, Georgia and the face of The Sandy Moye Show, her rise to becoming a first-time author comes amid humble beginnings.

“Having experienced my spirit leaving my body on April 16 at 3:30 a.m., I thought I was transitioning standing at the window looking back at my body lying in the bed,” Moye, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling how the awe-inspiring vision to assemble her book had come to fruition.
“Along with hearing the voice of God, never seeing His face saying to me, ‘Do not fear. I’ve got you. Just do what I’ve called you to do.’ Then my question was, ‘God, what do you mean?’ He gave me 2 Timothy 4:7, and I asked why this scripture because I only hear this at people’s homegoing, and God’s response to me (is that) everyday it’s a fight to do what I’ve created you to do, everyday there are assignments you have been called to complete, and every day, you must keep the faith to do what I’ve chosen to do now go and share with it with the world.”
A book she needed somewhere in the neighborhood of eight months to produce, Moye emphasized, among other things, the divine message she aspires to send to her reading audience through Focusing 2 Finish: 21 Day Inspirational Day Journey is centered in large part on ridding ourselves of what she deems “the anxiety of life.”

“Wherever you are in life, it’s your choice and only you have the power to change your life…to live that abundant life God has promised you,” Moye, a resident of Fayetteville, Georgia (or 22 miles south of downtown Atlanta), explained. “Make the choice of birthing your God-given gifts and serve the people who you have been assigned to.”
A book that is currently in the production’s final stages — “We’re in the process of releasing it,” Moye said — this relatively new author is convinced Focusing 2 Finish: 21 Day Inspirational Day Journey figures to be as good as advertised for years to come.
“This book helped me give birth to gifts that were laying stagnated, and I was afraid to take the leap of faith to birth,” Moye said. “Because I didn’t think I was anointed enough to write and speak into the lives of other people. Also, the fear of thinking nobody would be interested in what God had given me to write because my platform wasn’t one of notoriety. Now knowing that I know who and whose I am, being a child of God and trusting Him in every area of my life knowing, it doesn’t matter as long as I follow Him, speaking His oracles, it will not fall on deaf ears. To god be the glory.”
Now with her authorship debut slated to debut soon, Moye has announced that her sophomore book is presently in the works, although she has yet to name an official title.
Also, upon the release of her first book, she will host what she has appropriately dubbed the five-city Brown Skin Girl Media Brunch Tour 2022, which is scheduled to take place in the coming months.

“We do not get any do overs and we do not have an extra life hanging up in the closet or folded in the drawer,” Moye said of her new book. “Get busy, no matter who is with you or not…you must pass this test by yourself. Be whom God have created, called, and chosen you to become. You must make it count for you to win your race. You are accountable for the amazing life that you have been given.”
All the while taking yet another massive step towards your destiny in the process — something to which this gifted author can greatly attest.
